About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life! I have dog sat for multiple people whenever I was needed. I will walk and feed your pets and make sure they are taken care of when you can’t be there! My Services: 30 min dog walk: A nice stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail! Your pup need some good exercise and stimulation while you’re gone? I can help! 30 min drop in: Includes potty breaks, meals, play-time and of course plenty of snuggles! I work full-time with early hours (5 AM–1 PM), so I’m fully available most afternoons during the week. I’m currently in a master’s program in Mental Health Counseling at UTC, and I have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, so my availability may vary slightly on those days. I also have a dog, Autumn, who loves being outside and going to the park. If your dog is pet-friendly and enjoys company, Autumn would love to join us as a playmate! Just let me know what works best for you. I live in an apartment so daycare/boarding are services I cannot offer currently. We as people don’t deserve these amazing animals but I believe in trying to give them what they do deserve! I’m a teacher wanting to get a fur baby of my own! I’m hesitant because of my day to day life but i’d love to give cuddles, affection and attention to your babies especially now that it’s summer! I currently have the sweetest 3 year old silver lab! “Kathe was absolutely wonderful while caring for my cats this past week she came every day and even added extra morning visits on two occasions which I really appreciated. She made sure they were well fed, had fresh water, and kept their litter robot clean and running perfectly. Their food, water and bathroom areas were spotless. About: For as long as I can remember, my home has always been filled with dogs, cats, and pets of all varieties. I’ve raised puppies and kittens from birth for new homes and have cared for my friends’ pets many, many times. My wife Abby and I have 2 rescue cats, Viggo and Sable, and the friendliest and most playful Aussiedoodle you’ll ever meet named Penny. Penny loves to meet and play with other dogs, she’s incredibly gentle any not at all overbearing, intimidating, and knows when to slow down or ease off of other dogs who might not be in a social mood. Our cats do their own thing, but still make time for scritches. Our world is a better place for having cats and dogs in it, and I know it’s not easy to say goodbye (even briefly) to a beloved pet. My goal is to make your pets as happy and loved as I possibly can in your absence, as I would want my own furry family members to be when I’m gone. Whether it’s a short walk or a full fun day out and about, you can rest assured your own furry family will be in great hands with Sam the Sitter! I recently left a job I was unhappy with, which has opened me up to care for your pets anytime, anywhere. Driving is not an issue, as I live centrally to most residential areas in Chattanooga. Pet comfort and safety is a big priority for my pets, so I strive to achieve the same level of comfort and safety for your pets too. Whether you wish to keep your loved ones in the comfort and safety of your own home or want your pets to go out and explore, I have a very reliable vehicle with dog safety harnesses and snacks and water available at all times, especially with the rising temperatures. I come prepared with anything your pet might need. One of the biggest things I learned from our own trainer (who is also a veterinarian and a friend) is the importance of a good diet. I try to feed our (and your) pets the most nutritional and organic food available to support a long and healthy life. I have a fully privacy fenced in backyard that is cleared of my dog’s “business” almost daily, so I am always open and happy to host pets in our home. For cats, we have numerous toys and comfy places to nap. You can guarantee your pet will be very well taken care of with me!
