I definitely recommend her!”

“Carol is the best! I’ve been using her to walk Mona during the week when I’m at work. She is super responsive, flexible, and takes great care of my dog. It has given me peace of mind knowing Carol is checking in on her.”

About: I’ve been my neighborhood’s go-to pet sitter since middle school. When my next door neighbor was recommending me to a friend, she said my ability to make her reactive dog feel comfortable was “like a Disney princess”. I’m a student on break for the summer, working an internship that gives me plenty of flexibility to get around and help out at all sorts of odd hours. Gentle but firm, love to have fun but I prioritize keeping the peace. I trust you know your pets better than I do, and your advice and guidance goes above all else.

About: Been taking care of pets my entire life, both my own pets as well as helping friends and neighbors with theirs. Can’t wait to meet yours! I work remotely and have flexible hours, so I’m available to help throughout the day during the week and also on weekends at most locations! I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog and cat to keep yours company. I can crate your dog if needed and can also keep my pets separate from yours in my house if needed.

“Olivia is my recurring walker and Desi loves them! all the photos she gives are so good and I can tell Desi is getting more comfortable with her as they walk her more often. Attentive, communicative, eager to help!”

About: I’ve had pets since childhood, and I’ve been responsible for my own pets for 10 years. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter with dogs and cats of all ages and tempers for 8 years. I’ve been pet sitting and dogwalking since childhood, and I absolutely love it! I appreciate the patience and love it takes to get to know each and every new animal so I can take care of them to the best of my ability. I’m a student with a flexible schedule, so I have lots of pockets of free time to take care of your pets! I can pet sit & board on the weekends and dog walk and do short visits during the week! It is my top priority to follow all instructions provided and ensure that your pet feels safe, comfortable, and taken care of. I have a mid-sized apartment and two pet-loving roommates.

“Christopher scores again! There's just no one more dedicated to making dogs happy! We have two very high-energy dogs, and Christopher keeps them busy, mentally and physically. They are always thrilled to see him and sad to leave him. We use Christopher for daycare, walks, and boarding, and he's always upbeat and super responsive. There's just no one better.”

“Lexi has been an incredible walker for Eddie. She is always on time, helps us out when we have a last minute ask, and Eddie is obsessed with her. She gives Eddie extra long walks and lots of love.”

About: I worked for Petco for a little more than four years, worked at a dog resort for over a year, and have had my Shihtzu since she was a puppy (now 14), so I am experienced working with many types of dogs. Aside from walking your dog, if needed I am willing to do basic grooming such as baths and brushing (I can also clip nails if need be, but please let me know if your dog has problems with any of that). Other than medical treatments 3 days a week, I am available days and night. The treatments are in the early morning, so it'll be fine. Your pet will stay with me in my room to relax, eat/drink, or have playtime unless we're taking walks or going to the park to play.

“Ceili was amazing! They were prompt, so friendly with Mister, and gave him a nice long walk. They even gave him lots of treats after his walk. We appreciated it so much!”

“Bryce was fantastic with our dogs—he handled three 30-minute walks, sometimes going a bit over without any issue or extra charge. He’s professional, easy to communicate with, and follows instructions closely. We felt completely comfortable leaving him with access to our home, and we’d gladly work with him again. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve loved taking care of animals since I was a kid, when my sisters and I had a menagerie of lizards, hermit crabs, rabbits, fish, and a dog named Cookie. As a teen, I pet sat for a wide range of dogs and cats. Then as an adult, I worked at a “doggy day care” where I managed groups of 15-20 dogs at a time, as well as doing feedings and administering medications. This was also when I met and adopted my rescue dog, Socks, who has taught me a lot about learning to work with dogs with various anxieties or temperament issues. I am a PhD student in the Philadelphia area, so my work schedule is extremely flexible! I also have consistent access to a car, so I can travel quickly as needed. I have a fenced-in yard and a large apartment, but I would prefer to come meet your pet in their comfort zone at home! I am happy to do multiple check-ins per day, or stay over night as is necessary/helpful. Whether your dog wants to hang out on the couch or explore the neighborhood, I am down!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind for most of my life. I grew up with boxer dogs, a chihuahua, and cats. I’ve taken care of small and large dogs, young and energetic ones, as well as elders with less energy. I currently have three cats, all of which are friendly with other animals but typically keep their distance with new visitors! I know pet owners have all sorts of commitments and am happy to offer early and late hours, I have had stays starting as early as 5am, as well as ones ending as late as midnight! Let me know your needs and we can discuss. I have experience with rescue dogs, am an approved foster through ACCT Philly, and have experience with anxious dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, dog-selective dogs, and dogs with medical needs! I’m working with a hybrid work from home schedule for part of the week, so I’m able to take breaks as needed to care for the animals, go on walks, and have potty breaks. I have a nice fenced in yard (pictures in profile!) Depending on the needs of your specific animal, I’m happy to go on long or short walks and/or play in the yard. Dogs are allowed on my furniture but if you request otherwise, I’m happy to adhere to your rules!

Zachary K.
“I have both a cat and dog, both of who are quite anxious animals, and Izzy has been able to immediately bond with them and get them out of their shells. My dog loved them instantly, and behaves very well for them. He usually is very nervous around strangers, but came up to Izzy almost right away when meeting for the first time and has been very comfortable around them. My cat also hides whenever someone new is around, but didn't for Izzy, and comes right up to them. When I moved, she hid under my couch for hours, and only Izzy was able to coax her out with food and get her to find her litterbox. I can confidently say animals love Izzy, and they would be a great fit for walking or petsitting, even with anxious pets.”

Emma W.

“Highly recommend Emma for anyone looking for a dog walker. She takes my dog out for walks and my pup loves her. Very flexible with hours and sent me updates.”

Thank you for being patient with Rydyk on your first visit! Although we’re also impressed just how quickly he warmed up to you and flopped over for pets! What a nice idea to sit on the stoop for a little, I bet he loved watching what’s going on. Thanks so much!

Alicia was so wonderful she made our first walk with Rover so easy and seamless! she was very good with our pup Hank and sent pictures of the walk that they had which made us feel so comfortable and at ease while we were out of town. We highly recommend Alicia you can tell she is excellent with animals and knows what she is doing!!

Mervi was amazingly responsive and attentive dog sitter. She made sure to ask me relevant questions about how to best take care of my dog during the duration of her care and was sure to send me pictures and keep me updated proactively. I would definitely recommend Mervi to any other pet sitter. Will definitely reach out to her again in the future!

Jocelyn just had her first walk with Rydyk and we’re so thrilled to hear it went really well! Rydyk can be scared when new people come to our home, but thanks to a meet and greet he was super comfortable with Jocelyn on the first visit. Thanks for taking the time to meet us, we look forward to working with you!
