About: With over half my life dedicated to caring for animals, especially dogs—including seniors who need extra love and attention—I bring a wealth of experience to pet sitting. While my primary experience is with dogs, I have also cared for small animals such as rabbits and gerbils, demonstrating my ability to handle a variety of pets with care and attention. My professional journey as a firefighter, both in the Navy for 4 years and as a municipal firefighter for 19 years, has equipped me with the skills to handle emergencies and provide care in stressful situations, often involving pets in people's homes. Now retired, I am thrilled to channel my passion for animals and my drive to serve into full-time pet sitting. You can trust that your pets will receive 100% of my attention, care, and availability, with the added assurance that I am prepared for any unexpected circumstances. My background ensures that your pets are not just cared for, but protected and loved. With my retired status, I enjoy a highly flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate ample time to pet sitting. I am a coparent and have my 12-year-old daughter with me every other week. During those times, I ensure that my pet sitting commitments are fulfilled without compromise. My daughter is also an animal lover and has experience caring for pets, which can be an added benefit for services, though I always prioritize the comfort and preferences of the pet owners. For house sitting and drop-in visits, my availability remains consistent, as I can schedule around her school hours and activities. When she is not with me, I have even greater flexibility to accommodate your pet's needs, whether for short-term or extended care. I am committed to providing reliable and attentive care for your pets, tailored to their individual routines and your scheduling needs. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize their safety and well-being above all else. My background as a firefighter has equipped me with the skills to handle emergencies calmly and effectively, ensuring that both your pets and your home are protected. I will follow any specific instructions you provide regarding your pet's care routine, feeding schedule, and any household rules. I treat your home as if it were my own, respecting your space and belongings. Additionally, my experience with senior dogs means I am particularly attentive to the needs of older pets, providing them with the extra care and comfort they require. You can have peace of mind knowing that your pets are in caring, capable hands while you're away.

“Tori has been a life saver for our family and fur baby. She is timely and makes sure our fur baby gets a good walk on all her visits. She always remembers to give Bella a treat when the walk is done and makes sure she locks up our apartment. We are grateful for her.”

“Natalia has been great with our two dogs! They are normally pretty anxious but have warmed right up to her!! She is on time, communicates well, and takes cute pictures of the boys :) We will definitely continue using her for future visits!”

About: I have been dog sitting for the last 2 years and babysitting for 7 years. Building a relationship with my family is everything. Also, making sure that I am following all of the rules and instructions the family lies out. I work FT in HR. Therefore, I am available to dog sit on weekends and during the week after I get off work. Usually, I am able to coordinate a schedule pretty easily with families. About: Hey, my name is Sarah, but i go by Aspen! I started pet sitting years ago but now I'm back on Rover! I am currently working part time (previously full-time) at and animal hospital, where I have been for a year and nine months taking care of the boarding cats, dogs, and exotics. I know how to clean, feed, and give medicine to most animals. I have also grown up with animals and have a true passion for them. I am able to walk as many as four dogs at once and I know how to pay attention to multiple animals at the same time. Currently transitioning to part time at an animal hospital, I work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 7-12 and I work alternating weekends, so I get about 2 weekends off a month. I am still new to Rover and trying to plan what I will do for each dog, but it is very much designed to you! Personally, I walk my dogs 3 times a day and feed them twice a day while my cats free feed dry food and get fed wet once a day, and everyone gets tons of rubs! I love playing with my dogs, I know how to play both with toys and with out. I can really get a dog's energy out, so most breeds and puppies are welcome!

Katie V.
“Katie is the type of person you would want to take care of your pet when you’re not available to do this. Not only is she a caring individual but well trained in the physical being of the pets. I was visiting with my dog awhile back and my little 7 lb Cavachon was choking on something and Katie being alert and ready grabbed the dog and pulled a bone from her throat saving my dogs life. I shall never forget the speedy action taken that day. She loves to take her dogs for walks and is ready to play with them. I would absolutely leave my dog with Katie Valencia, in fact l just returned from an eleven day cruise and Katie took my dog in for that time.”
