I was incredibly lucky to find Madison to help walk my dog while I recovered from surgery. I could not have asked for a more caring, dependable dog walker. Madison showed up every day for two months, on time, happy and ready to go. My dog Olive absolutely adores her. I do not know what I would have done without her. Highly, highly recommend her services.

About: I've spent close to my whole living with dogs. Constantly learning how to better train them and care for them. Besides my love for dogs, I also have extensive training in emergency training for dogs. I was also a Flight Medic for the military, which included being trained and tasked with caring for injured or sick military working dogs. While I'd never claim to be an expert in this field, you can trust that I know how to take care of your furry family members. I am currently working full time for this position until my civilian licensure in Healthcare is approved, which will take several months. I'll be available day and night, and have no problem working on the weekends if we schedule in advance. I have a fenced in yard and 3 dogs that live with my wife and I. Tucker is a chocolate lab, he's the oldest at 10. Milo and Kiwi are two high energy German Short-haired Pointers, at 4 and 2 years old. We split between fresh food and kibble, and are no strangers to giving medications to our dogs.

I’ve completed educational courses through colleges and attended numerous seminars and certification classes to deepen my knowledge. This hands-on experience, combined with formal training, has allowed me to work effectively with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, ensuring they receive the best care and attention. Whether it's grooming, behavior modification, or general wellness, I am dedicated to providing top-quality care tailored to each dog’s unique needs. Pet care is truly the core of my daily routine. My day begins with feeding routines, followed by cleaning my dog training room and conducting morning training sessions or walks. The rest of the day is dedicated to various aspects of animal care, including grooming, training, playtime, feeding, meal prep, and administering medications when needed. I do it all to ensure the well-being of every pet I care for. On weekends, I’m usually at a dog sport trial or competition, or enjoying outdoor activities like hiking and swimming with my pets, or simply relaxing and bonding with them. Pet care is not just a job for me; it's my passion and lifestyle. I provide exceptional care for dogs, whether in my own home or a client’s, by combining my animal medical experience, grooming skills, training expertise, and dog behaviorist background. We have nothing but amazing things to say about Amber and the way she took care of our two dogs! We left for a week and she walked them 3 times a day for us—from the first walk we could tell we were going to be able to rest easy with them in her care. She treated them like her own and sent updates/photos every time! We know they loved their time with her and we will definitely be booking again next time we leave town.

Robert has been taking my dog, Craig, for walks on a weekly basis for about six months now. I highly recommend him as he has been very friendly, dependable, and reliable. Robert took really good care of Craig and made sure his needs were met during each visit, especially during times when Craig wasn’t feeling well. He also took the best dog photos which were a joy to receive in the middle of a work shift. I’m very satisfied with his services overall!

About: I have years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I genuinely enjoy the everyday rhythms of pet care—feeding, walks, playtime, litter care, and quiet companionship. I’m attentive, patient, and respectful of each pet’s unique personality, boundaries, and routines. I understand that pets can have very different needs—some are energetic and social, others are shy, sensitive, or independent. I’m calm, observant, and gentle in my approach, and I prioritize making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their people are away. I offer pet care during the times I’m not with my son, which means when I’m booked, your pet has my full attention. I plan my availability carefully and only accept visits I know I can show up for consistently and on time. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m attentive, detail-oriented, and mindful of each pet’s environment, routines, and signals. I take care to follow instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and maintain a calm, respectful presence in your home. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I treat every home with respect, communicate clearly, and approach each visit with patience and care so your pet feels safe and at ease.

About: I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats! I have had repeat clients and have helped family and friends with their pets on many occasions. I will always treat and love them as I would my own. I am a stay at home mom and I don’t go anywhere often, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I typically provide potty breaks every 1-2 hours and will go on walks if requested, as long as it’s not too hot out. I live in a large 2 story house with a fenced in area and is in a quiet neighborhood. I have a 4 year old son and twin 5 year old girls so your pets need to be okay around kids! If going to someone else’s home for drop ins, I will follow all instructions left for me, and take care of your home and pets as I do my own! 🩷

About: Hey there, my name is Christina! I am a long time pet owner, and I have volunteered through Tri-County Animal Rescue for over four years. Through this experience I have worked with various breeds as well as pets with different temperaments. I am very comfortable with any breed, big or small. I am also very comfortable taking care of cats, or any other species of pet. I am very active and typically hike, run, or bike daily, and I am more than happy to bring your dog along with me! Your beloved pet will get tons of excercise with me, which will decrease any anxiety levels, and tire them out for a good night’s sleep! They will also receive ample playtime, I have lots of room to run around in my large secure fenced in backyard. Your pet will be well taken care of, doted on, & excercised to their heart’s content. I am home full time because I work from home, so your pet will never be put in their kennel or left for any amount of time. If you prefer your dog to sleep in a kennel at night, I will be more than happy to accommodate that, although they are more than welcome to sleep on my bed or with my dogs. I have two dogs, one is a 6 year old large gentle giant who is very calm, named Sasha. She is a small Great Pyrenees, and is very friendly and good at making new doggy guests feel at home! I have a small chihuahua who is equally as friendly, and both of them do very well with other dogs as well as cats, with no aggressive tendencies whatsoever. I also have a small, friendly indoor cat - so any pet that will stay with us needs to be cat friendly, or atleast non-aggressive towards cats. Training method such as crate training and any other forms of obedience training can be continued during their stay with me, as well as medication administration. As an experienced pet owner, I understand the worries that come with leaving your loved one with someone else. You can rest assured they are in good hands with me. I offer meet and greets before you schedule your booking so that you can meet me and verify if you feel comfortable, and I am always available via message to answer any questions. I send daily pictures and updates multiple times a day during the duration of your pet’s stay with me, and keep you up to date on all the fun your dog is having! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible! I am able to accommodate any needs including medication administration. I am also available for home visits. I have a fenced in yard and I can walk your pup multiple times a day - as well as providing playtime! Cats or other species are also welcome.

Maria was great she communicated and sent pictures that helped a lot since this was my first time using this type of service for these babies. I used one years ago but had a different dog and didn’t know how my sweet babies would respond but they did great. I just always worry if the new person will be patient with my babies and she definitely was so that helped.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
