“I can't say enough positive things about my and my pup's experience with Brad. 1. Booking/Communication - From the initial booking, Brad was communicative and responsive ensuring that I would feel comfortable even before I dropped my pup off. 2. Drop off - At drop-off, Brad was extremely attentive to understand the unique needs of my pup especially as it pertained to his medication. In my moving around, I forgot to bring something my pup needed. Brad was extremely helpful in getting it resolved so that my pup's stay would be just fine. Additionally, Brad went out of his way to ask how, and what frequency, I wanted to be updated on my pup's stay. 3. Stay - My pup had a fantastic time staying with Brad and having pup siblings at Brad's house. I'm confident of this not only because, true to his word, Brad was not only communicative about what was going on each day (for the entire ~3wk stay), but he also sent pictures and videos with funny notes! I could see that my dog was active not only outside but inside the home, was playing well with the other dogs, and was being loved and snuggled daily. 4. Pick-up - The day of pick-up, my flight was delayed impacting my ability to pick-up my pup on time. Brad was completely understanding and was communicative to ensure that I had no worries. When I arrived to pick up my pup, all of the things I sent with my pup came home in great condition AND Brad sent me home with a treat that he had graciously been giving my pup as well! I could tell my pup was excited to go home but was sad to leave Brad and his new friends! Overall, we will DEFINITELY use Brad again and recommend him to anyone that is looking for someone to treat their pup like family when they have to go away. Thanks again, Brad!”

She sent me photos of him playing with her two dogs, and a German Shepard that was there one day on a play date. Kingston was well cared for, and judging from the photos he had a ball while there. He was able to run and play in Nicole's hugh backyard,and Kingston also had a dedicated room in her house to nap/sleep. Nicole is a fantasic sitter and I could tell that she loves dogs. “Krissa was amazing! She watched our 4 yr. old boy, Captain, for 12 days while we were on vacation. He is a beagle so you know how that breed can be. He is always on the hunt outside and certainly loves a lot of attention. We had a meet and great before our trip, which was nice to get to know her as well as allow Captain to spend a little time with her dogs at their house. Krissa stayed in contact with us our entire time away and sent many pictures. She gave him tons of attention and loved on him like we do at home. Captain enjoyed the fenced backyard and it is surrounded by trees, which is nice. What a great 1st time experience having someone watch your dog vs. using a boarding place as we have done in the past. He certainly got more attention and time to play than those places offer. She even let him sleep in their bed at night, which is how he sleeps at home. We will certainly use her again for our next trip away. I recommend booking with Krissa for sure!”

About: Hi! My name is Merrily, and I am a student at UNC! I have been an animal lover my whole life, growing up with two dogs and a cat! My dogs were a sweet boxer and a lively pug, so I have experience with both big and small dogs! I especially loved to take my boxer on long walks and runs, and cuddled and played with my pug. From taking care of my dogs throughout teenage hood, I gained valuable experience with senior care, administering oral and topical medication daily, dental care, bathes, and basic grooming. I also have dog and cat sat for family friends and neighbors numerous times, with duties ranging from senior care with a lab dog, to taking care (and easing) an anxious corgi. I trained him to signal when he needs to go outside by sitting near the door and have walked him year-round, even through cold Minnesota winters. So if it’s chilly here in the South, I’m still happy to take your dog for a walk! I also have my own cat, Kakashi (KK for short), who I’ve cared for for over a year. I work full-time Monday through Friday (8 a.m.–5 p.m.), so I’m mainly available in the evenings after 5 and on the weekends (Saturdays after 11 A.M and Sunday after 12 P.M) I live in a gated, pet-friendly apartment community. My apartment is very open and spacious, giving pets plenty of room to play and relax. The neighborhood has safe sidewalks and walking paths—perfect for daily walks. She sent me photos of him playing with her two dogs, and a German Shepard that was there one day on a play date. Kingston was well cared for, and judging from the photos he had a ball while there. He was able to run and play in Nicole's hugh backyard,and Kingston also had a dedicated room in her house to nap/sleep. Nicole is a fantasic sitter and I could tell that she loves dogs. “Krissa was amazing! She watched our 4 yr. old boy, Captain, for 12 days while we were on vacation. He is a beagle so you know how that breed can be. He is always on the hunt outside and certainly loves a lot of attention. We had a meet and great before our trip, which was nice to get to know her as well as allow Captain to spend a little time with her dogs at their house. Krissa stayed in contact with us our entire time away and sent many pictures. She gave him tons of attention and loved on him like we do at home. Captain enjoyed the fenced backyard and it is surrounded by trees, which is nice. What a great 1st time experience having someone watch your dog vs. using a boarding place as we have done in the past. He certainly got more attention and time to play than those places offer. She even let him sleep in their bed at night, which is how he sleeps at home. We will certainly use her again for our next trip away. I recommend booking with Krissa for sure!”
