“We were nervous leaving our fur babies because we’ve had a bad experience in the past. We hired Jessica for overnight for a 3 day weekend. She came for a meet and greet and was so good even with our big Merle! We have a pet cam, so were able to see how often Jessica was checking on our babies and she was absolutely top notch! We couldn’t be more pleased! We’ll definitely use again!”

“Christina was so great with my cats! She kept me updated on how they were doing and sent pictures. She took great care of our house and I would 100% use her services again.”

“Did an amazing job watching after our dog and house while we were out of town. She took the booking last minute on a holiday weekend and was very professional, communicative, and went above and beyond to help when our travel plans were delayed. Would highly recommend and will be using her in the future!”

“Victoria was accommodating and communicative. Very friendly and my pup loved her. Sent pictures and updated me every day (I was gone for a week). Thank you for being good to Myla and me!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our German Shepherd and Husky during our week away. From the start, she was communicative, attentive, and clearly experienced with larger, high-energy breeds. She sent us photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone. She also handled our German Shepherd perfectly, even on his more stubborn “butthead” moments — with patience, confidence, and care. It was obvious she knew exactly how to read him and respond appropriately. We came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs, and that means everything to us. We will absolutely be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring sitter.”

“Brad was so easy to work with from the beginning to the end. He remembered details from our Meet & Greet six weeks ahead of time. Our dogs were at ease with him from the first time they met which was comforting since we never had a house sitter service for them before. He communicated with us daily and shared pics of them too. He also left no trace that he stayed in our house for five days! It was clean and orderly when we returned which is a wonderful perk after being away. I will definitely request and recommend him for future stays.”

“Isabella did a great job watching my two dogs and taking care of the house. She sent many pictures and videos of my dogs during her stay. My dogs enjoyed their time with her. I have already booked her for my next trip.”

About: Hi! I'm Nicole a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet sitter. I've spent many years hosting both young and senior dog within my home, and neighbors, friends, and family regularly trust me to watch their pups, take them on walks, and help with basic training for specific behaviors. I have hands on experience with dogs in heat, and senior dogs who need special diets and medications. I'm comfortable giving pills in the morning or evening and carefully following any feeding or dietary instructions provided. I also know how important it is to be prepared incase of an emergency, so I just ask you share your vets contact information and preferred emergency clinic. At home, I am a dog mom to Chloe and Hubba Bubba, a cat mom to Bitty, and I also have a fish. Over the years I have cared for rabbits, chickens, a squirrel, chameleons, snakes, and more. My home is currently a dog and cat household, but if you have other pets in need of care I am happy to discuss! I work from home, so I have flexible availability to care for your pet as needed. For drop in visits or walks at your home I generally prefer day time hours. If over night or night time care is needed I prefer to have the pet stay at my home so I can keep a close and consistent eye on them, including the backyard. For boarding I provide each guest dog with its own space separate from my pets to help reduce stress and give them a call place to relax. If your dog does well with out animals and seems more comfortable in a multi pet environment, I am happy to let them spend time with my dogs under supervision. For walks I prefer that your dog uses a secure non slip leash and harness to help keep them safe at all times.
“Ashton did a wonderful job with our pups - our home was immaculately clean still when we returned. She was thoughtful with the dogs and just a great sitter. 10/10 would book again.”

About: I have been taking care of a wide range of pets for the past five years. Whether for friends, family or new clients I have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles! Rover is currently a full-time job while I’m part-time security guard for DSI Security. I was already doing pet services before/during the pandemic, so I like making connections through this application for more clients. I will be able to provide services accordingly with my schedule around the clock and care for your pet(s) whether it’s overnight sitting, walking or daily drop-ins! I can balance between DSI Security and my days off. The most important thing is making sure pets remain comfortable when you need to get away for a few days. A meet and greet prior to a service ensures this as I am able to become familiar with your pet(s) and how your day to day routine is for them.
“Kathy was wonderful! Absolutely great with our pup — even having to take him unexpectedly to the vet while we were away. She coordinated everything beautifully and made us feel at ease knowing our dog was in great care. Highly recommend!”

Gastonia pet parents share their Rover experiences
Our dogs are older and have known medical needs, but Jessica was not deterred from taking care of them. Unfortunately our worst fear came true and one of our dogs had a medical crisis while we were out of the country (no one’s fault, just the dog’s health declining). Jessica escalated to us and took our girl to the vet office on two separate days to get her medical care. She work with our vet and learned to give our dog new medications to manage the situation. Aside from rising to the occasion of medical crisis, Jessica sent us tons of photos and updates of all the dogs (which we greatly appreciated). It is difficult enough to find a sitter who is competent in taking care of older dogs with medical issues, but Jessica exceeded all expectations and we can’t thank her enough.

Katie did a great job with our curmudgeonly chihuahua! She handled his drama super well, stayed calm through the big ice storm that hit Charlotte while staying at our home, and helped trouble shoot our system when the thermostat went out unexpectedly. When we were delayed coming home due to the storm, she was happy to stay the extra night and left our home in great condition. I'll absolutely be reaching out to her again when our little old chi needs a sitter in the future!
