About: I have been caring for dogs of all sizes and ages for the past 20 years. I have always used a very simple approach to dog sitting. A tired dog that is engaged is easy to take care of. My property has lots of things that will keep your dog curious and entertained. I have squirrels that run around in the trees and moles that leave chutes in the ground. Outside my fence you will often see rabbits, deer and the occasional opossum. Your dog will love the new smells and occasional sightings of these animals. For physical activity I have plenty of long stretches for play and ball chasing as well as some basic agility obstacles your dog may find interesting. My semi wooded lot has lots of sticks to chew on. Your pet will be included in walks around the neighborhood and my local park. Having recently retired from corporate America I am looking for things to keep me busy and make use of my love of pets and experience caring for them. I also recently lost my dog to cancer and while I am not quite ready to adopt a new dog I miss having one around. I do not have a 9-5 so except for the occasional errand I will be around for your pet full time. I take the responsibility of caring for your dog very seriously. I attach a tracking tag to the collar of every dog in my care as well as an extra layer of security. Feel free to ask me any other questions you may have and rest assured you will not regret booking me for any of your pet needs. I am retired so with the exception of an errand I will be available to your pet full time. Pets are allowed on my furniture and bed. Please advise if this is a behavioral you are trying to discourage! Your pet will enjoy plenty of time outside and walks around my neighborhood and local park. I have a fenced in wooded acre. Your pet will be given free range of my home, but I will crate or contain them when I am away for their protection. I currently have no pets so your dog will receive my full attention.

About: Hi! My name is Merrily, and I am a student at UNC! I have been an animal lover my whole life, growing up with two dogs and a cat! My dogs were a sweet boxer and a lively pug, so I have experience with both big and small dogs! I especially loved to take my boxer on long walks and runs, and cuddled and played with my pug. From taking care of my dogs throughout teenage hood, I gained valuable experience with senior care, administering oral and topical medication daily, dental care, bathes, and basic grooming. I also have dog and cat sat for family friends and neighbors numerous times, with duties ranging from senior care with a lab dog, to taking care (and easing) an anxious corgi. My favorite aspect of pet-setting is of course snuggles! I want to provide affection and comfort just as pets provide me with affection and comfort! About: I’ve had several dogs, I have 4 at the moment and make sure each one gets the same amount of attention and love. I take them on walks and play with them when I can. I’m currently available at any time. I make my own schedule and can adapt to your needs. I can take dogs on walks and play with them. My dogs are able to go free in my yard, there’s a bunch of woods that that play in and explore. I take them for walks on a trail and always make sure they feel loved.

About: Our family has a dauschaund for 15 years that passed in August. She was provided so much love and care. I'm not afraid to help feel meds to your pup to keep them happy and healthy. We now have two pomeranian/ chihuahua mixes. One is about half way through his training to be a service dog and hopefully a therapy dog. He loves learning and putting that work vest on. His sister is a year younger and lives to play and snuggle. We loved boarding our friends dog, and both Rupert and Mabel get along with their pup friends. And they all love running around our fully fenced backyard. Our family has also had cats off and on for over 20 years. While I know they are laid back and are happy with an empty litter box and a full food bowl, they like getting the extra love and attention to. So whether it's with a toy on a stick, balls on the ground, or even some gentle pets they need love while your away also. I would love to help care for your four legged family member. While in my care, they would be treated like one of the family. I currently work part-time from home. I would be available to help your four legged family member before 7am and after 12 noon. The only other thing that keeps me busy is the training with Rupert, and playing and snuggling with Mabel, but it's flexible. I am asking to care for smaller dogs only because of some medical restrictions. With a small dog I will have no problem walking them, cleaning up after them, and crating if needed. But most of all I will be able to play with them to help burn off energy.

About: I have been dog sitting for the last 2 years and babysitting for 7 years. Building a relationship with my family is everything. Also, making sure that I am following all of the rules and instructions the family lies out. I work FT in HR. Therefore, I am available to dog sit on weekends and during the week after I get off work. Usually, I am able to coordinate a schedule pretty easily with families. When I stay overnight, I make sure the dog(s) sleep with me in the bed, if they are allowed. I try my best to walk the dogs at least twice a day and play with them/give them treats, and all the love they deserve!

About: I've owned dogs all throughout my life. I've worked in and managed a popular doggie daycare and have experience working at a vets office. I absolutely loved every my pet and couldn't imagine life without her, so I know how important your pet/s are to you. And will treat them as such. I know how I would want my pet treated and respect how you like to treat yours. Staying at homes instead of in kennels brings so much more happiness and less stress to your pets and I'm happy to facilitate that. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life and i would also help my family take care of, and also babysit many of our animals. I worked as a part-time groomer for a little under a year i’m also very active with my own cats and dog. I am currently doing part time virtual school, so I have plenty of time to make sure you’re pets are well taken care of and loved. I have a large yard where they can run and play with tones of toys. We also have 2 friendly dogs they can play with while they are here.

About: I have never had a dog of my own, but have plenty of experience around them! I have helped family and friends with their pets on many occasions. I am a stay at home mom and I don’t go anywhere often, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I have a large 2 story house and a fenced in area. I do have my 4 year old son and 5 year old girls at home until they go to school in August so your babies need to like kids! I have a cat, but she keeps to herself on the completely opposite side of my house from any other animals that come in.
