“I recently rescued a dog who is very shy around strangers. Jamie has been such a fantastic help! She is very reliable and is great with my dog. You can tell she truly cares about him and goes the extra mile to make sure his walks are good experiences. I’d recommend Jamie to anyone!”

About: Hi all! I am new to the Cleveland area and looking for new furry friends🐶🐈 I have been consistently providing Rover services for over a year and have gained plenty of experience with all types of animals. I raised 9 year old German Shepard, Stitch, since he was a puppy, as well as adopted my kitty, Elsie. I trained my dog as a service dog and have excellent doggy training skills. When friends, family, and relatives are away, I always jump at the opportunity to care for their pets. I pride myself on my consistency and effort when it comes to giving you updates on your pet (including super cute pictures). Rest assured while you’re away that your pet is in the best hands🤗 As I am working towards my master’s degree online, I have full availability. Once I know yours and your pets needs, we can come up with a schedule that works for us all! Keeping dogs active is key to ensure they live a happy and healthy life! I take my dog for a walk several times every day and allow him to have plenty of free time to run (and sunbathe)! My dog comes everywhere possible with me, we hate being apart. We are very fortunate to now live close to edgewater beach! He loves to swim and we have been enjoying checking out all the dog-friendly establishments in the area!

“Friendly, professional, and reliable. Chloe, you are a natural, and there are few people I could imagine so quickly trusting with the extra care and attention that Lola needs. Thank you!”

About: What sets me apart is the depth of experience I bring from a lifetime of living with and caring for animals. I’ve had five dogs of my own over the years, ranging from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs, and I’ve cared for countless neighbors’ pets, both dogs and cats. I understand how important consistency, patience, and attention to detail are, whether it’s helping a puppy learn routines or making sure a senior pet is comfortable and well cared for. I treat every pet like family and aim to make their time away from you as stress free as possible. Pet care fits easily into my routine, I have open weekends and a flexible schedule, which means I can give your pets the time and attention they deserve. I don’t have kids or other major time commitments, so I’m able to focus fully on providing reliable, consistent care. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, walks, or just keeping them company, I’m happy to adjust to what your pet needs. In your home, I focus on maintaining your pet’s usual routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I won't stray away from feeding instructions, walk schedules, medication etc... I keep the space clean, give plenty of attention, and send regular updates so you always know how things are going. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy and stress free while you’re away, and to leave your home just as you left it!

“Tamara has been great taking my puppy for weekly walks while I’m at work. Sends lots of pictures to keep me updated. My dog and I have really enjoyed working with her!”

“James was very easy going and patient with my puppy Moka. He took her for a nice extended walk, fed her and most of all, allowed her to warm up to him before he took her out.”

“Torrey is amazing. She stepped up on short notice and took care of our Athena. She is so flexible and accommodating. She has been a great addition to our dog family.”

About: I cared for my family dog for 15 years, from playful puppy days to senior care in her later years. I’m comfortable with all stages of life, including administering medications, keeping up with routines, and giving lots of love and attention. My background as a physician assistant also gives me a calm, attentive approach—especially helpful for pets with medical needs or older dogs who need gentle care. I work three 12-hour shifts during the week as a physician assistant, which means I have four full days off each week for dedicated pet care. On work days, I can provide early morning and evening care, and on my days off, I’m available for longer walks, playtime, and extended visits. I’m very organized and make sure pets stick to their feeding, exercise, and medication schedules. My routine is flexible enough to adapt to each pet’s needs, whether that’s quick check-ins or all-day companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and happy in their own environment. I follow the owner’s instructions closely whether that’s feeding, fresh water, administering medications, or keeping up with exercise routines. I make sure to give plenty of attention, playtime, and mental stimulation during visits. I’m experienced with high-energy dogs (I have a Basset Hound rescue puppy at home!), so I’m patient, understanding, and always ready for a good walk or play session. My goal is to make sure pets feel loved and well-cared-for until their favorite humans return.

About: I have experience training puppies and giving medications to senior care dogs. I also have experience preparing specific food regimes to all ages. I am able to walk dogs on a leash and gain trust. I am available most weekdays before 8:15am, during lunch time, after 5pm, and all day on weekends. I work remotely and am able to adjust my schedule to accommodate the pets needs. I always ensure animals are provided the attention they need, whether that is playing fetch, going on a walk, or sitting next to each other. Every animal is different and I will make accommodations based on the pet and your wishes!

About: I have my own puppy and I love her more than words can explain. She is the light of my life and my favorite person I am currently working part time at as a ICU Registered Nurse, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to your dogs, pups or cats I have an apartment that’s close to a walking trail and a dog park. Daily walks will be extra fun and I also have a dog they can play with

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover by nature and child psychologist by training. I know well that pets are family — and they deserve care that is reliable, safe, and full of love! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I’m an especially good fit for high energy dogs who like extra long walks, runs, and hikes. I’ve loved my own dogs through aging, medical needs, and separation anxiety. I’m comfortable working with these needs. I’m also a first-time cat owner ready to make more feline friends (on their terms, of course). Excited for the chance to care for your furbabies just like my own! I’m on a break from my full time work, so I have lots of time to provide care! I’m a morning person and like to be as active as possible. I’ll honor your and your furbaby’s space, keeping things tidy and comfortable. I’m happy to take your pets to parks to really enjoy the outdoors, if you’d like!

About: I’ve had pets ever since I was little, and I have always formed strong bonds with the animals I meet! I haven’t had a dog for the past year, so I am trying to find new furry friends to play with, and give my love to! Currently I am taking online classes through Butler University! My schedule is very open and I would love to pack it taking care of some furry friends! As long as you leave clear instructions about what my responsibilities are, I am happy to meet any requests you have! And you won’t even notice I was in your home:)

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care, patience, and attentiveness I bring to every animal I care for—treating them like family, not just a task. I have hands-on experience with a wide range of pets, including high-energy puppies and senior dogs who need extra gentleness and medical attention. I’m confident in administering medications, reinforcing basic training commands, and reading animal behavior to ensure their comfort and safety. I also provide regular updates, photos, and videos to help pet parents feel connected and at ease while they’re away. My calm presence and dependable communication make me a trusted sitter who builds long-term relationships with both pets and their humans. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because I truly enjoy being around animals. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday play sessions, or evening feedings, I structure my day to prioritize consistency and comfort for the pets I care for. I make sure they stay on their regular schedule, which helps them feel secure and at ease in my care. I also build in time for grooming, mental stimulation (like training games or enrichment toys), and plenty of affection. Even on my busiest days, pet care isn’t something I “fit in”—it’s something I look forward to and plan around. Whether in my home or my client’s, I create a calm, clean, and pet-safe environment where animals feel comfortable and loved. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions—so they stay relaxed and well-adjusted while their owner is away. In my home, I make sure pets have their own cozy space, access to fresh water, and a stress-free atmosphere without overwhelming noise or distractions. If I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with respect and keep everything tidy while making sure their pet feels secure and cared for in their familiar space. I also stay in touch with updates and photos so pet parents can feel at ease knowing their fur baby is in great hands.
