“Madison took care of our 4 pets- 2 large dogs & 2 cats while we were out of town for 5 days. One of the dogs had just had surgery and ended up being somewhat challenging with his bandage. “Kaitlyn was great with my girls and house! Everything was just the way I left it. 5 nights 6 days. She sent updates and pictures everyday. I have a reactive dog and a 14.5 year old diabetic cat. She loved/s them and kept them happy, safe, and comfortable while I was away. Thank you Kaitlyn!”

About: I have taken care of animals (mostly cats and dogs) for almost 10 years. I have helped multiple family and friends pets and are comfortable with feeding them meds, walking, and keeping them company, among many other things. Currently, pet sitting is my only job so I have tons of free time on my hands to help people out. It fills me with great joy to be able to be there for someone’s animal when they aren’t around. I prefer to keep the pets at the clients home because I know it is where they are most comfortable. I love being able to make myself comfortable while also looking after the pet.

“Sylvia took good care of JoJo for an evening. She displayed a gentle, warm approach with him and he was very comfortable with her. We will be glad to engage her again.”

“I can't recommend Meg enough! They took amazing care of our furry babies while we were away. From daily updates and photos to ensuring our pets’ routines were followed, their attention to detail was exceptional. Our pets were so happy and well-cared for, which gave us peace of mind during our trip. Meg is reliable, friendly, and truly loves animals. We will definitely book their services again in the future. Thank you for making our pets feel so loved!”

“Highly recommend Latifa, she worked wonders with my two post-op spayed (formerly) stray cats who required some special attention. So glad she was able to accommodate us so last minute!”

“Aura is amazing!! I could tell she really knew what she was doing by her thoughtful questions. She even asked permission to take my dog on a walk in the wilderness which i could tell he absolutely loved from the pictures!”

“Meredith was great. The dogs were taken care of very well. We received pics every day of them being them. The house was in tact; the dogs were fat and lazy; and my wife and I had peace of mind while on vacation. I would highly recommend.”

About: I've been raised with dogs and cats since day one. They are part of my DNA. I'm kind and caring and will treat your pet like my own. I am pet free for the very first time. Your pet will be my total priority. Call me, Jean. I have great references. I'm trained in first aid I am retired from Alaska Airlines. I make several week long trips a year. Otherwise I am close at hand to meet your needs at your home or mine. My bungalow is fenced in and has good dog walking areas surrounding the property. I normally take my pets to the beach 2 blocks from my home. Walking intervals are every 3 hours unless more is needed.

About: Hi, I’m Clara! Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from tiny parrots to towering horses—and I’m confident handling everything in between. I have experience with: • Puppies and young dogs (training, socialization, and lots of patience!) • Caring for a dog with frequent seizures and special health needs • Working at a large dog rescue in Mexico, rehabilitating street dogs with behavioral and medical issues of all sizes • Administering oral medications and following detailed care instructions • Senior pet care with extra attention and gentleness (my dog is epileptic so I know how to administer all seizure meds and the full protocol) • Basic training and reinforcing good behavior • Horse care from years of working in barns (feeding, grooming, handling) • Volunteering for a year at a parrot rescue, learning about specialized bird care I’m active and outdoorsy, so I love taking energetic dogs for runs, hikes, or long walks—but I’m just as happy giving older or calmer pets plenty of snuggles. Safety, compassion, and keeping your pets happy are my top priorities, and I’ll always send plenty of photo updates while you’re away. I’m currently completely open and very flexible with scheduling. I’m not working another job right now, so I can adjust to your pet’s exact needs—whether that’s early mornings, late nights, or last-minute bookings. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, pets must be friendly with other dogs, as I have my own, and everyone’s well-being is a top priority. We have a fully fenced yard for safe play and fresh air, and I love going on regular walks to keep pets happy and healthy. I’m very routine-oriented, so I’ll follow your pet’s feeding, exercise, and care schedule exactly as you request—whether in my home or yours. I make sure each animal feels secure, loved, and stress-free, with plenty of supervision, enrichment, and affection.

“Amanda watched my high-energy dog, Buffy, for almost 2 weeks, and she did an amazing job! She seemed to bring my girl on so many adventures, and she made me feel like she really cared about Buffy and loved her like I did. It really calmed my nerves while I was away on vacation. I can’t thank her enough!”

About: Throughout my life, animals and children have been drawn to my soft energy. I’ve had and been around dogs and cats all my life. I’ve been working with my giant schnauzer and friends’ dogs that range from rescued grey hounds to small mixed breeds. I am the go-to for any pet sitting for the fur babies. I’m an aunt to a female brindle kitty that is a sassy lady but loves to snuggle me when I visit. Additionally, I frequently watch a reactive grey hound and I am able to still provide the attention she deserves. I understand patience is key when working with people and animals. I currently am a travel Behavioral Therapist for children with autism. I travel to clients’ homes and usually am not gone for more than 5 hours including commute. My weekly schedule can vary but I am clear through with my communication and the expectations needed for any situation. I am typically a homebody who enjoys movies, games, and reading. When house sitting, I usually hang around with your fur baby and offer emotional support until you return. I’ll follow their lead and offer bids for connection. I stick to the routine schedule provided to me (feedings and potty breaks). While providing the known routine for comfort to the animal, I use this time to attempt pairing whether that be with pets of affection, extra treats (if allowed and within acceptable limit), or structured play time.

About: Since childhood, I’ve had a deep love for animals and have always treated every pet as if they were my own. I believe all pets deserve the same love and care they so generously give to us. However, I am very understanding that each pet is unique in their own personality. As a proud dog mom to two very special but different pups—one being a rescue from the meat trade in South Korea—I’ve gained valuable experience in recognizing stressors and triggers in dogs that may be more reactive. I approach each pet with patience, understanding, and proactive care to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and at peace. Just because an animal has had a difficult past doesn’t mean that sets the trajectory of their future. I am a small business owner which means I have an extremely flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets the time, attention, and care they ultimately deserve. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I can adjust to your needs to ensure your furry friends are happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I prioritize consistency and routine so pets feel comfortable and cared for in every visit! Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust. I create a warm, stress-free environment where pets feel secure, loved, and at ease. I follow each pet’s routine, respect their space, and provide plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles to keep them happy and safe. I also have two friendly dogs of my own who can provide companionship and extra playtime for pets in my home. For pets who prefer to be alone, I have plenty of space to ensure their comfort and relaxation.

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and am currently living with a wonderful pup, Sherlock, who is an incredible, calm, and friendly 50lb hound-mix. Given my experience living and caring for dogs, many friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with walking their dogs or pet-sitting their houses, and it's something I quite enjoy. I am a school teacher, so during this summer season, I have flexible availability to care for your loved ones whether it is for a nice day hike or at night for cuddles and protection! I live in an apartment right across from a park with empty fields and woodland trails. I love walking and would be more than happy to help you while gaining a trail partner in the process! And walks aside, we know all pets need a little bit of love, play, and a responsible caretaker, of which I'd be happy to provide!

“Linda was wonderful. We recently moved to the area and were concerned about finding someone to house/pet sit for us. She was pro-active, responsible, professional and calm. She understood our senior citizen pets and took loving care of them. She kept us updated each day with photos and information. We feel lucky to have found her on Rover and had no worries about being away.”
