About: Dog sitting since 2010, I love dogs and am not put off by size or jumping. After a few quick sniffs we are likely to be good friends. I work but I make sure I leave time between my multiple jobs to check on the dog. I have references if needed. It can be hard to give a key to a stranger and to trust someone in your home. I can grab mail, water plants, ***and care for smaller animals and additional pets that aren't the traditional cat and dog.*** I work part time, so I do not work more than 7 straight hours. My other jobs are often virtual/online or other dogs so it gives me flexibility. I have a cat and can only watch pets at your residence, because I have roommates. I love to snuggle pets (if they feel comfortable with me) and am conscientious in dietary needs and will read whatever instructions and specifics you give. I dont mind giving medicine. I will admit that I can be hard for me to do dinner times if it's on a strict schedule. I can get up as early as needed for breakfast time, but sometimes life gets in the way naturally. I am also a night owl and rely on that to earn extra income, So I do a lot of events. I'm an actor, game designer, as well as an educator and freelance writer. I like to follow instructions whether given in the form of an email or on a piece of paper. Vet numbers and any information that helps me best Make your pet healthy and happy is helpful. A lot of people worry when they give me a packet and I'm an avid reader so don't worry if you have more than three pages. I'm pretty sure the longest one has been five pages for one dog and even that isn't that long. :)

About: Ive taken care of my families dogs for the last 15 years and always made sure they were well cared for. Friends also entrusted me with the care of their animals knowing that I am no stranger to difficult animals and messy situations. I have also been a volunteer at local animal shelters and know how to handle larger and more difficult to walk animals. I have a senior dog now so I also understand the care that goes into helping animals who are struggling I have a dog in my home who has a torn ACL. He has difficulty with stairs and walks so I ice his leg daily and carry him up the stairs. I make sure also to feed him his medication and ensure he is always comfortable given his aches and pains. While I cannot do boarding, within other homes, I will walk and play with animals constantly. I love interacting with pets and find joy in spending time doing what animals love, whether it be snuggled up on the floor, playing tug of war or going on long walks. I’m available most evenings after 6 PM and on weekends, which is perfect for evening walks, playtime, or overnight care. Tuesdays are my completely free day, so I can give extra time and attention then. This way, your pup still gets plenty of love, exercise, and consistency even with my work schedule. Since I only offer drop-in visits and dog walking, my focus is on making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. During walks, I make sure your dog gets the right balance of exercise, stimulation, and safety based on their energy level and needs. For drop-in visits, I handle the essentials like feeding, water refresh, and potty breaks, but I also make time for play, cuddles, and attention so they don’t feel alone while you’re away. About: Ive taken care of dogs for most of my childhood as well as my adult life so far. I am also an ABC certified dog trainer that has gone through the necessary steps to understand the behaviors that are fundamental to dogs and how to ensure that they have the best chance possible for success. I currently work on Tuesday and Friday mornings and I have other meetings after 2:00 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday but those days are subject to change in the near future. I walk my dog every morning at 8:30 AM and sometimes in the evening after 9 if I am unable to get the morning walk in. Otherwise I am flexible with my time depending upon the situation. I use my dog’s harness on walks with a 5 foot leash that I keep shortened by wrapping it around my hand. This allows me to extend and retract the leash to the desired length for any given situation. In the case of dog sitting I usually take the dog on a walk for as long as they’ll go and after they get tired, I would sit with the dog until it is either time for them to be fed or go out. I do my best to provide whatever the dog may need or what you require for them.
