“Carlee has been absolutely wonderful with my pup. She always sends photos and a message with how the walks went. She is also super funny telling me the silly things my pup did with her! 😋 she's a great communicator, very flexible with her availability, and very reliable. I never had to worry about my pup in her care. We are very sad to have to let her go for family reasons, but she has offered to help out should we need her again. I highly recommend Carlee for your fur baby's care! 🫶”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science (Pre-Vet) at Chico State and working toward my Veterinary Assistant certification, which has given me hands-on experience in proper animal handling, behavior, and care. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats extensively, including volunteering at animal and cat shelters. As a pet owner myself (from a Belgian Malinois to a Chihuahua, and currently a cat), I understand how unique each animal’s needs can be. I’m also involved in Guide Dogs for the Blind, where I help train dogs; building strong skills in patience, consistency, and communication. Most importantly, I care not only about your pets but about your peace of mind. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication so you always feel confident your pet is in good hands. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I care for my own cat with a consistent feeding schedule, fresh water, enrichment, and medication when needed. I also regularly work with livestock, keeping me active in hands-on animal care. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure every environment is calm, clean, and pet-friendly, and I take care to remove any potential hazards. I closely follow each pet parent’s instructions, including feeding routines, medications, and any specific care needs. I take time to understand each pet’s personality so I can provide patient, attentive care that helps them feel safe and stress-free. I also carry basic animal first aid supplies and am prepared to respond calmly in case of emergencies. Building trust with pet parents is just as important to me as caring for their pets. I provide updates, communicate clearly, and aim to give helpful feedback when needed. My goal is for you to feel completely confident while you’re away and to return to a happy, well-cared-for pet.

About: I’ve cared for seniors, puppies, post surgeries, mischievous kitties and extra needy pets of all kinds ☺️ years of working with horses, living with my anxious chihuahua mix, and helping to raise the chunky pitties in my life has prepared me for almost every situation. I’ll keep a cool head and stick to your instructions while showering lots of love on your furry family member. I grew up around cats, dogs, horses, and birds! My love for animals knows no bounds, and I’m always the one getting distracted by a cute dog on the sidewalk (or TikTok). I’ve had great experiences booking care for my own dog through Rover, and I understand how hard it can be to find and trust the right person when we have to be away from them! My hope is that we can work together and create the best plan for keeping your furry kids happy and safe. I keep communication open and often so that we are all comfortable and on the same page. I pay attention and meet your pet where they’re at so we can build our own trusting and loving bond. I work remotely from home, so I can be flexible to meet your needs. My partner and I work together to ensure our own dogs are cared for, comfortable, and get lots of sniffing time outside. I’d love to speak with you about the best way to accommodate your schedule. I prefer to meet with you and your pet before scheduling a service to ensure that everyone is comfortable. I like to take the opportunity to ask any clarifying questions and walk through expectations so that there are no gray areas about the best ways to care for your pet and keep them safe.

“Ash was a godsend when we came to Chico to tour the University campus. She watched Midnight while we did the tour, which made it stress-free for everyone. She was sweet with Midnight and so helpful. I would highly recommend Ash!”

About: I have lived with and cared for animals almost my entire life, and I have been told many times that I have a way with animals. All of my dogs have been adopted or rescued, and they all came from situations of abuse, abandonment, or neglect. Every single one of my dogs, with love and training, became amazing, wonderful companions. All any dog wants is simply to know what to do to get love and treats. So I'm a big believer in love and treats. With my dogs, I have used Gentle Leader halter collars to guide them for appropriate behavior during walks and click-treat training to teach them what I want them to do. I don't use harsh words, painful collars, or physical punishment. And with cats, all of my cats have been inside-only cats and utterly spoiled. Of course. Over the years, my cats have trained me well, and I speak fluent feline. I am currently working, but my schedule gives me complete freedom and flexibility. I can easily work around your schedule to care for your pets. I realize that people have different ways of caring for their pets and structuring their pet's home environment. I try to be mindful of how my client wants things done and, of course, careful about their pet's safety at all times.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, so being around them has always felt natural to me. I recently graduated from Chico state and currently have two dogs of my own a 6 year old toy poodle and a 5 months old border collie mix. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog or cat with someone else. That’s why I do my best to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me. Whether your pet loves to play, go for walks, or just relax and get cuddles, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and care. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family, and I’ll always keep you updated so you can have peace of mind while you’re away! I currently work part time at Bath & Body Works and usually only have 2–3 shifts a week, so my schedule is very flexible. When I’m not working, I’m home spending time with my own dogs. This allows me to be available for different drop-off and pick-up times and gives me plenty of time to provide walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I treat every pet like they’re one of my own. My home is a safe, loving environment where pets get lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll do my best to follow their normal routine and help them feel right at home.
“Tyler was amazing. He responded in minutes with my one day notice request and he was more than welcoming. He proposed a meet and greet and he was very nice and friendly. Nobody else I would ever trust with my blind baby!”

About: I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets while you’re away. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and giving pets plenty of attention and affection. I’m dependable, patient, and will treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m happy to make time for walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m primarily available evenings and weekends, with additional availability depending on the day. I’ll always communicate clearly about my schedule before accepting a booking. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you provide for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and bedtime. I’ll also respect your home, keep you updated while you’re away, and make sure your pet receives plenty of attention and care.
About: I’ve been surround by dogs my entire life. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15. Family friends and past employers have relied on me to walk and feed their pets. I do have experience in bathing dogs. I'm a part time caregiver who works at an elderly home. I mostly work on the weekends after 2pm. So if you request a drop off on Monday,Friday or Saturday (maybe Sunday) it'll have to be before 2pm and pick ups after 10:30 pm since there's a high chance it can't be any later than that time. I do live with my long term partner so there is someone to help me take care of your pet while I’m at work. My apartment complex does have some grassy areas where they can run around and play to get their energy out. I do always walk dogs on a leash when going to parks or a public area.

About: I am an Animal Science major at Chico State as a 4th year! I was a kennel tech so I have handled all kinds of dogs and behaviors with preparing and handing out feedings, medications, walks and fun playtime! I’ve taken care of my neighbors and friends dogs and cats since I was 8. I also did many drop in visits and bathroom visits to make sure the animals were comfortable and had company. I have 2 family dogs of my own which I have raised since they were puppies and trained them basic commands and fun tricks! My schedule is pretty open! I am in school full time but my schedule consists of classes in the morning each day with most afternoons free to take care of your pet! (aka. Furry family member) The only afternoons I have commitments are Tuesday and Wednesday! I create a safe environment by allowing your pet to come and meet me. I make sure all the pets needs are met with a full water bowl, filling food bowls, bathroom breaks and medications (if applicable). I can entertain your animals with their toys, walks and treats to build trust and have you come home to a content pet.
About: I have been taking care of houses and pets since I was 15, whether it be for my family, a friend, a boss - I’ve done it all. I’ve been around animals for most of my life, too. Both old and young, medication or no medication, ball or frisbee, I will do everything I can to ensure your fuzzy friend is taken care of, safe, and loved! I currently work a part-time job, with very flexible hours. My shifts are usually only 4-6 hours long in the early afternoon, and throughout the week have varying days where I may not work and can dedicate as much time as needed! I care for your pets by making them my first priority, and by providing companionship while you’re away. I want every pet to feel comfortable and calm, and can be there for them consistently so they feel safe and cared for.
“Grace was wonderful with our dog, Nico. She was prompt and communicated well. However, what really makes Grace standout is how happy and tired our pup was after his walks with her. It is clear she treated him well and tired him out. Thank you Grace!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Chico
Carly has walked my three dogs and has pet sit for them at my home. She is amazing and my dogs love her! My dogs are a lot. One is 105lb american bulldog who is mellow, but a lot of dog lol and can be reactive to small dogs. The other one has major puppy vibes and takes a minute to warm up to new people. The third is a chill older dog, but can get a spicy attitude whenever she's inclined. I've left them for 6 days with Carly before. When I came home, my dogs were happy and healthy and no issues. The puppy injured his dew claw and Carly reached out and got him to the vet. He trusted her the whole time! Everything healed great. Highly recommend her. I will be using her in the future too.

Zack has been fantastic with my dog. On day one he took the time to understand my walking expectations and preferences, asking thoughtful questions about my dog’s needs and energy level. His communication is top-notch - he always keeps me updated and is quick to respond to any questions or requests. I also really appreciate his commitment to giving my active pup the exercise he needs. He consistently provides good, lengthy walks that leave my dog happy and well-exercised. Zack’s friendly, professional approach gives me complete peace of mind. I couldn’t be happier with his service!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
