About: I've been taking care of my two dogs and cay since 2017. I have experience with baths, walks and overall care. Pets have a good time with me. I work from home so I spend every day with my little rascals. It's a part of my life so I've gotten used to it! I follow directions from the owners. They know the best way to care for their pets and I'll do what they instruct to the best of ability. I'll respect their pets and their home.

About: My pet care journey began with hands-on experience in dog daycare and individual pet sitting, which led me to become a positive reinforcement dog trainer. My background in cognitive development, neuroscience, and language and culture informs my approach to understanding and clear communication with the pups and kitties I care for. I've successfully worked with various needs, including puppies and dogs facing fear and aggression. I create a comfortable and secure environment, ensuring pets are physically active and mentally fulfilled. I am pet first aid trained and can administer medications. I can't wait to meet you and your beloved furry family soon! My part-time job offers me a flexible schedule, allowing seamless integration of pet care. I meticulously plan my days to ensure I'm always punctual for every visit. This organized approach guarantees your pet's routine is respected and they receive consistent, quality attention during our time together. It’s a no-phone-zone (except for a few pics) together! Safety is my absolute top priority. I create a secure and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. This isn't just a promise; it's backed by practical measures. I am pet first aid trained, equipped to handle minor emergencies and recognize signs of distress. Furthermore, I am experienced and capable of administering medications as needed. Beyond training, I'm constantly vigilant, always prioritizing your pet's well-being and ensuring their physical and mental comfort during our time together.

About: I’ve taken care of it all. From young and healthy to medically complex, small to large breed I’ve worked with them all. Let me take care of yours as if they were my own. I also volunteer at the Humane Society when I can loving on those looking for their forever home. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule allowing me to help when you are away. I can’t wait to get to know you and your pets! You can trust your home and fur baby will be safe with me. Walks, feeding, or just play time in your home, yard or neighborhood. Whatever they need, I’m here!

About: Hi! I’m a pet lover looking to spend more time with some furry friends! I grew up with pets and love being around them. I have experience walking and caring for other people’s pets in their homes, even including services such as taking in the mail and watering plants. I have enjoyed caring for other people’s pets so far and would love to do the same thing here in Chico! I am currently on summer break and have pretty open availability. I can likely make my schedule work for you and your pets! After all, they are the priority. In home care: I try to start by taking some time to get to know your pet in your home-in their space where they feel most comfortable. Upon arrival, I try to get the pet aquatinted to my space, let them explore the area, and find a home for their stuff so they have an area that they feel safe. I prioritize not having guests over or being gone too long while caring for pets in my home. I do live in an apartment and do not have an enclosed yard, but I do have a lot of grass and walking paths near me for potty breaks. Finally, I am happy to take your pet on adventures around town or rides if you are comfortable, so please let me know! Care in your home: I am respectful of your rules and space! I am happy to do other things like taking in the mail or putting the trash on the street. I try to leave things the way I found them. I like this option because this is the space your pet knows best and is most comfortable in.

“Jocelyn was wonderful...great communication, very professional and confident. She did a full week of two-a-day visits and was amazingly right on schedule every time. She developed quick rapport with our older dog who can sometimes be quite nervous and fearful of strangers. Lots of pets and love...what else could we (or our dog) ask for. Would definitely contact Jocelyn again.”

“Alexis was great! She was super easy to work with and my pups warmed right up to her!”

“Forest took great care of our cat and sent pictures everyday. I recommend him!”

About: I’ve been around animals most of my life. I started with horses and various farm animals when I was very young. I cared for my own parakeets when I was a kid. By middle school and hs, I graduated to watching my neighbors very good boy and very good girl: a dalmatian and german shepherd. I was introduced to the wonderment that is cat ownership in college. I grew up in a family that has always treated pets like family. I’ve utilized pet care services heavily in the last few years. I know that I always function best when my fur babies are taken care of. I would love to be your peace of mind when you are unable to care for them yourself. I’m great for a dog walk, and the typical feed, water and play time for all animals. I’m also familiar with taking care of aging and/or sick pets. I’ve pilled dogs and cats before. I work and go to school part time so my schedule is very flexible. I am always willing to work with what you need so let me know and we can put it in the calendar! I understand how important it is for animals to have a sense of consistency and safety when their owners are away or unable to care for them. I know that a consistent feeding schedule and or walking schedule helps with that immensely. I’ll try to stay as consistent as possible for your requested times for feedings/play time/walk time/ pet care regimens.

About: I’ve had dogs/cats my whole life in my family home and now have my own dog living with me. I love spending time with dogs and cats and am super flexible! I am a college student athlete so my schedule is most open in the mornings and evenings but reach out with any questions and I can see what works! I am comfortable walking and making drop in visits. My schedule does not allow for boarding in my own home but I can make trips and provide care in client’s homes

“So thankful to have had such a great first pet rover experience with Trask and Emiko! They were great and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. They are detailed and genuinely want to make sure that your pet is well looked after :) I could really tell that my cat Teddy was happy to see them every time from all of the cute pictures and videos. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking to have a worry free experience!”

About: I have cared for animals for five decades. I have had mostly dogs and cats but have also cared for hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, turtles, lizards, snakes, tarantulas, parakeets, aquarium and pond fish, chickens, ducks, geese, goats, ponies, horses, and even injured wild baby squirrels and baby birds. As a veterinary receptionist, I was trained as a backroom assistant to prepare medication, administer injections and assist with minor procedures and surgeries. I have had as many as nine cats and three dogs at the same time, so know how to multitask and prioritize needs. I am confident that I could fit the necessary care into my schedule. I have never had a problem with cleaning up after myself and my critters. I strive to have animals feel safe in their environments and secure in my presence. I believe that pets are special members of the family. I have a kind of grandma personality and enjoy quiet snuggle moments with elder, lonely and mellow pets as much as learning their favorite activities.

“Gloria is amazing! She is super nice and very good with my pupper. Could not recommend her enough. Don't hesitate, let Gloria pamper your pup while you are gone. She also takes lots of photos (even got good ones of my very non-photogenic) dog so you don't miss your furry friend too much”

“He was attentive with my cats, playing with them and making sure they felt comfortable and happy. The pictures helped ease my mind while on vacation. Would recommend to anyone with pets!”

Second booking with Nile and it was still great. Nile constantly shows up on time, takes good care of my 2 cats, and keeps me in the loop on how they’re doing when I’m not home. Nile is extremely trustworthy which leaves me stress free while I’m away. Thank you Nile!

Overall wonderful experience! She was very great with my two fur babies. It made me leaving town feel so much better knowing my babies were with her. She sent pictures and updates which I really appreciated as well.
