We like to make sure that the environment is welcoming, safe, and fun for them as they are our family members (we look for sitters who allow dogs on furniture and on the bed and are good with dogs who have dietary restrictions). Yesenia was very understanding and after a meet and greet, we felt very comfortable having her watch our girls in her home. She has a great space for sitting and a wonderful backyard where our girls could run around with each other! She even asked if we had any preferential instructions that we may not have included in our online request. I recently graduated from Chico state and currently have two dogs of my own a 6 year old toy poodle and a 5 months old border collie mix. I often would care for my neighbors dog since he was a puppy, parents worked full time and puppies need all the attention they can get so I helped train him. I grew up around smaller animals included dogs and cats. I am comfortable with larger dogs as well.

One is 105lb american bulldog who is mellow, but a lot of dog lol and can be reactive to small dogs. The other one has major puppy vibes and takes a minute to warm up to new people. The third is a chill older dog, but can get a spicy attitude whenever she's inclined. I've left them for 6 days with Carly before. When I came home, my dogs were happy and healthy and no issues. The puppy injured his dew claw and Carly reached out and got him to the vet. He trusted her the whole time! Everything healed great. Highly recommend her. I will be using her in the future too.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I have experience with dogs who have special needs, specifically, neurological disorders requiring medication administration. I’ve spent the last two years training my dog, Bubba, through separation anxiety and reactive aggression. He went from chasing cats to occasionally taking naps with them. My first dog, Lilly, was reactive to dogs and when I brought home Bubba as a puppy, my family called him “snack” because they didn’t think it was possible, but she immediately took him in and they were inseparable for 7 years! About: I am a retired veterinary professional and lifelong animal lover. I have two extremely friendly pups, Pukka and Tildon, that are happy to share their space if your kiddo would enjoy it. I have a fenced back yard. Our household goes on one (if not more) walks a day. My boys are well leash trained and would welcome a walking buddy. We love cats and I am happy to give anything from a few water and kibble top offs and litter box changes as needed to nightly cuddles and adoration. I am two minutes away from home and always come home to check on the critters on my lunch. We go for walks in them morning before work and there is a dog door into the back yard that can be open if needed. Fenced (6+ feet) back yard with locked gate. I have door dog insert on my back door so everyone can come and go as they please. I live in a small one room studio with a yard about four times its size. Dogs are allowed on the bed and there is a step up onto the bed for senior citizens. It is a small but very comfortable space.
