We like to make sure that the environment is welcoming, safe, and fun for them as they are our family members (we look for sitters who allow dogs on furniture and on the bed and are good with dogs who have dietary restrictions). Yesenia was very understanding and after a meet and greet, we felt very comfortable having her watch our girls in her home. She has a great space for sitting and a wonderful backyard where our girls could run around with each other! She even asked if we had any preferential instructions that we may not have included in our online request. She was very responsive when we asked for updates on our dogs' stay and sent pictures to us as well. Her availability was also a great fit for us. She sent me photos and videos to update me throughout the day. As soon as I dropped her off, Mary sent me adorable videos! About: I have experience caring for many dogs for friends family and neighbors. I often would care for my neighbors dog since he was a puppy, parents worked full time and puppies need all the attention they can get so I helped train him. I also trained my own puppy Melo, he’s still growing and learning but I love being his mom. I take extra care of his supplements and nutrition so I know the importance of taking the extra time to do all of that. About: I have lived with and cared for animals almost my entire life, and I have been told many times that I have a way with animals. All of my dogs have been adopted or rescued, and they all came from situations of abuse, abandonment, or neglect. So I'm a big believer in love and treats. With my dogs, I have used Gentle Leader halter collars to guide them for appropriate behavior during walks and click-treat training to teach them what I want them to do. I don't use harsh words, painful collars, or physical punishment. And with cats, all of my cats have been inside-only cats and utterly spoiled. Of course. Over the years, my cats have trained me well, and I speak fluent feline. I am currently working, but my schedule gives me complete freedom and flexibility. About: I have taken care of fur babies since I was a child. I am currently 55 years old, so a very long time! I lived on a ranch for a good portion of my life with all types of animals, from kittens and puppies, to cattle and horses. I have fostered litters of kittens for roughly 10 years. No pet is too complicated for me! (Except maybe snakes) My schedule is kept open for pet care. It helps me stay motivated when I get to play catch with and love on the kitties and doggies I have a fenced in large backyard with no holes. I do have two pet friendly dogs and two pet friendly cats in my home and they are all great with other animals. I believe that it is important to respect other people’s homes and care for their pets as if they were my own. Pets are not only companions, they are family members.

About: I’ve taken care of a couple of puppies at once when I was in middle school and raised one of them for a few years. I raised my golden doodle since he was a troublemaker puppy until now (he is 3 years old). Last year as I have said I focused more on my pet sitting and took care of several cats. Has inconsistent pet walking jobs (not on Rover). I has a good amount of cat sitting gigs going on, mostly through Nextdoor. I was asked for my service again this summer but unfortunately moved away from where I was a student. I’m currently a pre vet student at UC Berkeley. I am usually busy in the morning but free after noon! Happy to work anytime on weekends. My dog is an outdoor and indoor dog but spends most of his time outdoors. I play with him twice a day for a short while (he has a hip injury stopping him from playing for extensive amount of time). I’ve also taken care of my boyfriend’s cats when he was a way for the summer and they were indoor cats and I played with them twice a day, brushed them once a week, and brushed their teeth 3 times a week. I would also follow their specific diets and clean the litter box a few times a day. I’ve also showered them both.

About: I am currently going to school to be a vet tech, and have had years of experience working with animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments! I’m comfortable with any dog breed and energy level! I have a super energetic dog at home and I’m confident that if I can handle her, I can handle any dog!
