About: Hello, I am thirty-four and I have had dogs and cats in my household and under my training throughout my life. I have been taking care of, leash training and social training friends and families pets for my adult life and, I have been on Rover since 2019 while I was living abroad in Spain. I have a passion for treating animals with respect, love and providing the exercise and stimulation necessary for them to live healthy, relaxed and well behaved lives in our homes. I provide leashed walks and runs as well; those walks always come with basic training (loose leash walking, street safety, etc.) I would love to have the opportunity to give you peace of mind, knowing that your loved dog or cat gets the exercise attention needed during times that you can't offer it. I have a flexible work schedule that opens up all sorts of windows throughout my day, from morning to evening. With this schedule, along with being normally and naturally active (with an active dog), I have no problem creating time for your pet's needs. During check in visits, I can provide whatever is needed to help your pet feel secure and taken care of while you're away. Food, water, potty breaks, walks, play time, medication. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I have experience with dogs who have special needs, specifically, neurological disorders requiring medication administration. I’ve spent the last two years training my dog, Bubba, through separation anxiety and reactive aggression. He went from chasing cats to occasionally taking naps with them. My first dog, Lilly, was reactive to dogs and when I brought home Bubba as a puppy, my family called him “snack” because they didn’t think it was possible, but she immediately took him in and they were inseparable for 7 years! “Carly has walked my three dogs and has pet sit for them at my home. She is amazing and my dogs love her! My dogs are a lot. One is 105lb american bulldog who is mellow, but a lot of dog lol and can be reactive to small dogs. The other one has major puppy vibes and takes a minute to warm up to new people. The third is a chill older dog, but can get a spicy attitude whenever she's inclined. I've left them for 6 days with Carly before. When I came home, my dogs were happy and healthy and no issues. The puppy injured his dew claw and Carly reached out and got him to the vet. He trusted her the whole time! Everything healed great. Highly recommend her. I will be using her in the future too.”
About: I volunteered at Haven Humane Society in Redding for three years, where I gained a lot of experience caring for both cats and dogs. While I was there, I helped clean and sanitize their areas, walked dogs, and spent time socializing with the cats. In my personal life, I have a kitty who is my pride and joy! The most important thing I will do is ask those important questions to best support your furry friend when I walk or house visit. About: Currently have a dogs and a cat. Was up to 8 cats and 2 dogs after rescuing a litter of and an single orphane. I also rescued my own dog as well after she was abandoned by a friends roommate. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
