“Alisa was above and beyond the best dog walking experience I could have ever hoped for! My boy Porter absolutely loved her from day one! Alisa is very sweet and very prompt with her responses, and she made me feel at ease with her daily updates and photos of Porter. Thank you so much Alisa, you are absolutely wonderful!!”

About: What sets me apart is my focus on consistency, calm handling, and understanding each dog’s individual needs. I’m experienced with both energetic puppies who need structure and patience, as well as senior dogs who require slower walks, gentle care, and attention to comfort. I prioritize safety, clear communication with owners, and maintaining routines that help dogs feel secure and relaxed while you’re away. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and am comfortable caring for them even if they aren’t my own. I am available on weekends from 8-6pm. Weekdays vary but I am open to late afternoon walks depending on the day due to my job. I care for dogs during walks by keeping them safe, paying attention to their needs, and adjusting the pace to match their energy. I focus on positive, calm walks where they can explore, feel comfortable, and get the exercise they need.

About: Your pet’s new best friend is here! 🐾 I love staying active, going on walks, and giving pets all the attention they deserve. From high-energy pups to laid-back cuddle bugs, I match their vibe and make sure they have the best time. Expect lots of tail wags, happy moments, and cute photo updates! I’m free just tell me your needs and how I can assist you and your amazing fur babies and how I can show them as much love as they deserve I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment for every pet in my care. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any medical requirements. Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I make sure they feel comfortable and secure. I’m attentive to behavior changes and prioritize their safety at all times, whether in my home or a client’s home.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science (Pre-Vet) at Chico State and working toward my Veterinary Assistant certification, which has given me hands-on experience in proper animal handling, behavior, and care. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats extensively, including volunteering at animal and cat shelters. As a pet owner myself (from a Belgian Malinois to a Chihuahua, and currently a cat), I understand how unique each animal’s needs can be. I’m also involved in Guide Dogs for the Blind, where I help train dogs; building strong skills in patience, consistency, and communication. Most importantly, I care not only about your pets but about your peace of mind. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication so you always feel confident your pet is in good hands. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I care for my own cat with a consistent feeding schedule, fresh water, enrichment, and medication when needed. I also regularly work with livestock, keeping me active in hands-on animal care. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure every environment is calm, clean, and pet-friendly, and I take care to remove any potential hazards. I closely follow each pet parent’s instructions, including feeding routines, medications, and any specific care needs. I take time to understand each pet’s personality so I can provide patient, attentive care that helps them feel safe and stress-free. I also carry basic animal first aid supplies and am prepared to respond calmly in case of emergencies. Building trust with pet parents is just as important to me as caring for their pets. I provide updates, communicate clearly, and aim to give helpful feedback when needed. My goal is for you to feel completely confident while you’re away and to return to a happy, well-cared-for pet.
About: I’ve taken care of a couple of puppies at once when I was in middle school and raised one of them for a few years. I raised my golden doodle since he was a troublemaker puppy until now (he is 3 years old). Last year as I have said I focused more on my pet sitting and took care of several cats. Has inconsistent pet walking jobs (not on Rover). I has a good amount of cat sitting gigs going on, mostly through Nextdoor. I was asked for my service again this summer but unfortunately moved away from where I was a student. I’m currently a pre vet student at UC Berkeley. I am usually busy in the morning but free after noon! Happy to work anytime on weekends. My dog is an outdoor and indoor dog but spends most of his time outdoors. I play with him twice a day for a short while (he has a hip injury stopping him from playing for extensive amount of time). I’ve also taken care of my boyfriend’s cats when he was a way for the summer and they were indoor cats and I played with them twice a day, brushed them once a week, and brushed their teeth 3 times a week. I would also follow their specific diets and clean the litter box a few times a day. I’ve also showered them both.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats from a young age. I’m reliable, compassionate, experienced, and I can not wait to meet your sweet fur friends. I’m a social worker and work a flexible, full time job Mon-Fri 9-5 in which I am able to leave for periods of time to check on fur friends. Overnights and weekends are typically free. I’m open to sitting overnight in your home. I’m happy to come over ahead of time to get comfortable with your pets and your home if needed. Unfortunately, I can not bring your pets into my home, as my roommate has allergies. I’m always happy to take them in my car, however.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs and pets of all kinds for over 2 years. I started pet sitting at a young age for neighbors, friends, and family, and it quickly became something people regularly relied on me for. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, playing with, and giving lots of love and attention to pets of all sizes and personalities. I’m very patient, dependable, and detail-oriented, and I always make sure to follow each pet’s routine and care instructions exactly as given. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away, so I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m comfortable caring for energetic dogs, shy or anxious pets, and senior animals who may need a little extra patience and care. I’m also comfortable following medication and special care routines if needed. I always make sure pet parents receive updates and photos so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around my responsibilities, which allows me to be consistent, reliable, and flexible when it comes to visits, feedings, playtime, and check-ins. Since I’m already used to caring for my own cat, Selene, daily pet care is a normal part of my life. I make sure every pet gets the time and attention they need, whether that’s scheduled drop-in visits, feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, or just spending time keeping them company. I’m very organized and good at sticking to routines, so following each pet’s specific care instructions and schedule is never a problem for me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions, and make sure litter boxes are cleaned, water is refreshed, and the home is left tidy. I make sure each animal gets the right balance of playtime, affection, and calm companionship depending on their personality. I always move at their pace, especially with shy or anxious fur babies, and never force interaction. My goal is to make every animal feel safe, comfortable, and secure in their own environment while their owner is away. I also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your fur baby is being well cared for.
“Ash was a godsend when we came to Chico to tour the University campus. She watched Midnight while we did the tour, which made it stress-free for everyone. She was sweet with Midnight and so helpful. I would highly recommend Ash!”

About: Taking care of a dog's physical comfort and well-being makes them happy, which makes me happy! Having grown up with dogs in the house, I started training my own dog at the age of nine. Being my own boss means I create time to be blessed by the presence of your dogs. While housesitting for you, your home and animals are my only concern. In your home, I feed, water, brush, and play with your dogs. If you like, I can also bathe your precious. During our walks we do a little bit of training. Rather than offering treats, I utilize praise as their reward for a job well done.
About: What sets me apart? I bring a mix of love, patience, and plenty of experience to every pet I care for! Whether it’s keeping up with energetic puppies, giving extra TLC to senior pets, or making sure everyone sticks to their routine (treats included, of course!), I’ve got it covered. Need meds given? No problem. Litter box deep-cleaned? Consider it done. Walkies or runs to get the energy out- even bettter (we can get fit together). My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and totally spoiled while you're away—because they deserve nothing less! Pet care fits into my routine seamlessly since I work from home and have a somewhat flexible schedule! This allows me to adapt to your pet’s needs—whether they thrive on a set routine, need a midday walk, or just want some extra attention while you’re away. I can easily adjust my day to make sure they’re well cared for, comfortable, and happy. Plus, with me around, they’ll never feel lonely! 🐾💕 I provide a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment for all my furry guests! I have a fully fenced-in backyard for playtime and fresh air, plenty of indoor space to relax, and even a large crate if needed. Your pet will also have some built-in company—I have three friendly cats and a dog of my own, so they’ll always have buddies around (unless they prefer their own space, which I totally respect!). Whether they love to run, lounge, or just get some extra snuggles, I make sure every pet feels right at home. 🐾💕
About: I’ve taken care of many pets my whole life. I’m very passionate about animals health and wellbeing. I love all animals and have a passion to help and take care of them. I’m available two times out of the week for walks a what needs to be done! Let me help you with your lovely animals thank you. I love to exercise my lovely animals with care and affection. I don’t mind taking my time with them making sure they get the love they need.
About: I have taken care of fur babies since I was a child. I am currently 55 years old, so a very long time! I lived on a ranch for a good portion of my life with all types of animals, from kittens and puppies, to cattle and horses. I have fostered litters of kittens for roughly 10 years. No pet is too complicated for me! (Except maybe snakes) My schedule is kept open for pet care. It helps me stay motivated when I get to play catch with and love on the kitties and doggies I have a fenced in large backyard with no holes. I do have two pet friendly dogs and two pet friendly cats in my home and they are all great with other animals. I believe that it is important to respect other people’s homes and care for their pets as if they were my own. Pets are not only companions, they are family members.
“Mikayla was so good with my two fur pups! As with most dog owners, they mean EVERYTHING to me. I can fully trust in her and know that my dogs will be well taken cared of. I would highly recommend her and will certainly request her services again in the very near future!”

Barber dog parents share their Rover experiences
Carly has walked my three dogs and has pet sit for them at my home. She is amazing and my dogs love her! My dogs are a lot. One is 105lb american bulldog who is mellow, but a lot of dog lol and can be reactive to small dogs. The other one has major puppy vibes and takes a minute to warm up to new people. The third is a chill older dog, but can get a spicy attitude whenever she's inclined. I've left them for 6 days with Carly before. When I came home, my dogs were happy and healthy and no issues. The puppy injured his dew claw and Carly reached out and got him to the vet. He trusted her the whole time! Everything healed great. Highly recommend her. I will be using her in the future too.

Zack has been fantastic with my dog. On day one he took the time to understand my walking expectations and preferences, asking thoughtful questions about my dog’s needs and energy level. His communication is top-notch - he always keeps me updated and is quick to respond to any questions or requests. I also really appreciate his commitment to giving my active pup the exercise he needs. He consistently provides good, lengthy walks that leave my dog happy and well-exercised. Zack’s friendly, professional approach gives me complete peace of mind. I couldn’t be happier with his service!

Jade was an excellent communicator and worked with my ever-changing last minute schedule! I have a husky and she can be a handful. The dog immediately took to Jade and the two seemed to have a great time. Jade was professional and friendly! A true gem. Will definitely book again.
