“Sequoyah is a very thoughtful and caring person. She took great care of our dog and our home while we were away, and sent frequent updates and photos. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing Harper was in great hands!”

“We are so grateful for Emiko and Trask! One of our pups takes a long time to warm up to new folks, and Emiko left us regular updates and worked slowly with her to build trust. Our home and our pets were so well taken care of. I hope we can book them again soon!”

“My husband and I along with Buster visited your fair city last Monday June 15 when the flood gates opened. We asked Andrea to look after Buster at our hotel by the airport. Andrea was on time even with all the traffic and rain delays. I was so worried for her with all the travelling but she came through like a trouper. Andrea was cheerful, attentive to Buster and a delight to have look after Buster. He was in good hands. We appreciated that she came the distance for us and would not hesitate to have Andrea sit for us again should we visit Chicago again. Thank you Andrea”

About: What sets me apart? I bring a mix of love, patience, and plenty of experience to every pet I care for! Whether it’s keeping up with energetic puppies, giving extra TLC to senior pets, or making sure everyone sticks to their routine (treats included, of course!), I’ve got it covered. Need meds given? No problem. Litter box deep-cleaned? Consider it done. Walkies or runs to get the energy out- even bettter (we can get fit together). My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and totally spoiled while you're away—because they deserve nothing less! Pet care fits into my routine seamlessly since I work from home and have a somewhat flexible schedule! This allows me to adapt to your pet’s needs—whether they thrive on a set routine, need a midday walk, or just want some extra attention while you’re away. I can easily adjust my day to make sure they’re well cared for, comfortable, and happy. Plus, with me around, they’ll never feel lonely! 🐾💕 I provide a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment for all my furry guests! I have a fully fenced-in backyard for playtime and fresh air, plenty of indoor space to relax, and even a large crate if needed. Your pet will also have some built-in company—I have three friendly cats and a dog of my own, so they’ll always have buddies around (unless they prefer their own space, which I totally respect!). Whether they love to run, lounge, or just get some extra snuggles, I make sure every pet feels right at home. 🐾💕
“Jaqueline was great with the animals. She was communicative with me before booking which helped with my comfort in leaving the animals with her. When I came home animals were excited to see me like they had a safe and cared for weekend. I hope to use her again in the future.”

“Alisa was great! She is great at communicating, did everything I asked, and my dog loves her! Would definitely want to have her as a sitter again! She took great care of my house and my pets!”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science (Pre-Vet) at Chico State and working toward my Veterinary Assistant certification, which has given me hands-on experience in proper animal handling, behavior, and care. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats extensively, including volunteering at animal and cat shelters. As a pet owner myself (from a Belgian Malinois to a Chihuahua, and currently a cat), I understand how unique each animal’s needs can be. I’m also involved in Guide Dogs for the Blind, where I help train dogs; building strong skills in patience, consistency, and communication. Most importantly, I care not only about your pets but about your peace of mind. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication so you always feel confident your pet is in good hands. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I care for my own cat with a consistent feeding schedule, fresh water, enrichment, and medication when needed. I also regularly work with livestock, keeping me active in hands-on animal care. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure every environment is calm, clean, and pet-friendly, and I take care to remove any potential hazards. I closely follow each pet parent’s instructions, including feeding routines, medications, and any specific care needs. I take time to understand each pet’s personality so I can provide patient, attentive care that helps them feel safe and stress-free. I also carry basic animal first aid supplies and am prepared to respond calmly in case of emergencies. Building trust with pet parents is just as important to me as caring for their pets. I provide updates, communicate clearly, and aim to give helpful feedback when needed. My goal is for you to feel completely confident while you’re away and to return to a happy, well-cared-for pet.

About: I have always loved being around dogs. I used to have one of my own before moving away from my parents’ house. Before moving, I taught my dog a few tricks like sitting, giving me her paw, lying down, not pulling on the leash, and staying in one place. I loved her very much and cared for her as if she were my child, so it won’t be hard for me to care for and love your dog as my own. I have always grown up around dogs, no matter their size or breed. Although I’m not a mom, I tend to have a strong maternal instinct when I’m around them. I currently am going to college and am not working any other job so I am pretty flexible on scheduling at the moment. Right now I only have afternoon classes and there is a good gap in between them where I could fit in a walk. I am also completely open on the weekend Friday through Sunday. When taking care of your pet I would make sure to be aware of how friendly your dog may be I don’t intend on having them be pretty close to other dogs as I can’t predict how nice or reactive the other dogs may be. I would make sure to have water and treats on me as well as monitor how tired your dog may be

About: I have been taking care of my friends and family's animals since I was eight years old. I have been trusted with drop-ins, overnight stays, as well as just play time, and would love to do the same with your pets. I want to make sure your animals are happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away. I love animals and have two cats and a dog of my own. I am currently searching for a job, so my schedule is fairly open. Until I find a job my I have open availability to watch your pets! My home does not have a yard area, so I have to take my dog for many walks and to the park daily. I prefer to care for the animals in their own homes so they feel more comfortable.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life I grew up with dogs and a cat to even getting older and getting a dog of my own I’m a huge pet lover and can guarantee your pet will be in good hands with me! Pets are allowed on the couches I’m not sure why it says no on my page lol I have a very open schedule so let me know your days and time and I’m more then likely able to care for them within that schedule I live in a apartment and have one dog of my own but I will take outside to play so will get plenty of outside time

About: About Me Hi! My name is Jalyssa, and I’m a 19-year-old Animal Science major currently in college with a huge passion for animal care and wellbeing. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages. I’ve had my own dog for 15 years, where I was actively involved in daily care, training, feeding, walking, grooming, and making sure all of their needs were met. Along with caring for my own pets, I also have experience pet sitting for others and helping raise puppies and kittens, so I’m comfortable with animals that need extra patience, attention, and routine. As someone studying Animal Science, I genuinely love learning about animal health and behavior, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or just someone reliable to keep them company, I’m dedicated to making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. As a college student currently on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m looking for something productive that keeps me busy while also allowing me to do something I genuinely enjoy — spending time with and caring for animals. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I make sure pets are always supervised, kept in a safe environment, and cared for according to their specific routines and needs. I pay close attention during walks, feeding times, playtime, and interactions to ensure your pet stays happy, healthy, and stress-free. I also understand how important communication is, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
About: I have about 3 years of experience taking care of dogs, mostly helping care for my friend Katelyn’s dog and treating him like my own. I’m very patient, responsible, and pay attention to small details. Because I’m in healthcare, I’m used to watching for safety, behavior changes, and making sure everything is okay. I’m also very active, so I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while their owner is away. I treat every dog like family and someone you can trust with your pet I’m currently in school and working in healthcare, but I manage my schedule well. I’m usually available evenings, nights, and weekends. I enjoy staying active, so walks, playtime, and checking on pets fits naturally into my routine. I always make sure pets get attention, exercise, and proper care while their owner is away. I always focus on safety, comfort, and making pets feel secure. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and routines. My healthcare background makes me very observant and responsible. I make sure pets are supervised, safe in their environment, and treated with patience and care like they are family
Barber pet parents share their Rover experiences
Rebecca was absolutely wonderful with all our animals! She played with the dogs to tire them out and kept the cats happy. She asked great questions about our pets’ schedules and preferences and really showed great care with them. We even had a last minute medication addition with one of our dogs and she was more than happy to take care of it. We returned from vacation to content pets and our house as we left it-if not a little tidier! We really appreciate Rebecca and her wonderful care. She is an excellent communicator and put us at ease leaving our loved ones in her hands. I would highly recommend Rebecca as a trusted, kind and qualified pet sitter. Thanks so much, Rebecca!

Susan is a wonderful house and dog sitter! She spent quality time with our little dog and kept the house super neat and tidy. She is responsible, professional, and pays attention to details. We will definitely continue to use her services when we go out of town!

Carly did such a great job taking care of our pup, Aloo! She sent us pictures while we were gone, and we returned to Aloo being relaxed and in great spirits. Carly was communicative, responsible, and left our house clean and our dog happy. I would highly recommend booking with her. Thank you so much, Carly!

Claire was wonderful! We were nervous about being away from our senior pug as we are usually with her all day, but Claire put us at ease from the moment we connected and even recommended that she come over before we were going on our trip so that we could go over some specific care items and allow her time alone with Bacall. Claire was punctual, responsive to my check-in texts, communicated throughout the time she was house sitting, dog sitting, and tortoise sitting for us. She sent photos of Bacall to us and also took excellent care of our 26+ year old tortoise. We also felt good to have Claire taking care of our home. We will most definitely request Claire again without hesitation.

Aly is the BEST!!!!! I have all rescue pets, which means they can be challenging at times. We have 3 large dogs, 4 cats, 2 horses and 6 chickens. Their ages range from 1 year old minions (kittens) to seniors. We also live outin the country which can be a challenge and of course our new well pump had an issue. Aly handled it better than I!😆 The best compliment I can give is that when we came home, all the kids were excited to see us, but all were acting normal and happy, not like the usual "you abandoned us" attitude. Bonus, Aly even washed her own sheets (not something I would have asked her to do or expected). Again, she's the BEST!!!!

Sheryl was absolutely wonderful! We have booked with Rover for around 15 years and she has been the best so far. Sheryl was very communicative during our 6 week absence and shared lots of pictures of Shiloh and let us know how things were going. We never worried once! The biggest "tell" that showed how great she was with Shiloh was that, of course, Shiloh was very excited to see us, but also very calm. No trauma at all for being gone 6 weeks. Sheryl was also kind enough to fill my outside bird feeders and offered to water or do anything else needed. Oh, and all my houseplants survived and thrived! We will definitely ask Sheryl again without hesitation.

Avery is a treasure—so considerate of our home, with all of the quirks, and our giant breed dog, with all of his special needs, medication, feeding, and helping him feel safe and secure while we’re gone. We hope to continue regular drop ins and house sitting in the new year. Thank you, Avery!

Jaqueline was great with the animals. She was communicative with me before booking which helped with my comfort in leaving the animals with her. When I came home animals were excited to see me like they had a safe and cared for weekend. I hope to use her again in the future.

Jocelyn is amazing - warm, kind, and very intuitive to a pets needs. She did a great job taking care of my high maintenance senior dog and sent me regular updates regarding his care (likely knowing I have bad separation anxiety from him)! I'm very grateful to have found her. 💜

Hannah spent 11 days at our home with our 2 dogs and did a great job giving them the love they needed and took good care of our home as well. The dogs were happy, the house was clean and she communicated with me whenever I reached out and sent cute pics too. I wouldn't hesitate to ask her to watch our dogs again in the future.

Gisele was great so responsive and so helpful. We booked pretty last minute on Thanksgiving weekend she was so quick to respond. She also came over beforehand just to introduce herself to our pup. She sent lots of pictures and kept us updated on our quirky dog. We appreciate her so much and highly recommend her for anyone looking for an amazing animal sitter!

I was so glad Emily was able to dog sit it was very lady minute. She was very sweet and the dogs were very taken care of. Then Emily listen to my instructions on how my dogs should eat . She sent photos daily and that really help me with me leaving them. When I went back to my place is was very clean . I was very pleased with how everything went :)

Brooke did an amazing job with our boy! She sent us updates and photos/videos everyday, took him to the park which is his favorite place! Our house was spotless when we came home! She gave our dog and our home such amazing care and we are excited to hire her again!

Natalie exudes warmth and a friendly demeanor and it makes all the difference. I not only trusted her with my home but the two fur balls that I could not live without. She provided updates and photos without being asked. I typically feel quite anxious leaving my pups with sitters but for the very first time wasn’t constantly checking my phone. We are very grateful to have found Natalie.
