About: I’ve been around all kinds of dogs since I was young. I have always loved being around dogs(and cats!), I definitely bond better with animals than humans. I love my mini Australian shepherd, Ollie, with my whole entire heart, and I would love your pets as well💕 I work part time, so I am available pretty much always! The days I work, it is from 5:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. so I would have the rest of the day to hang with your animals! Now that summer is here and school is over, my availability is even more open. I am able to follow any expectations or requests left concerning your pets! I will not be boarding other’s pets in my own home however, I am only available for home stay in overnight situations.
About: I’m a dedicated Vet Tech student with strong animal care skills, offering patient puppy support, gentle senior care, and personalized attention to keep every pet safe, comfortable, and happy. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I’m available after 2:15 PM on weekdays (and after 5 PM on Mondays). I can only board overnight on weekends, which allows me to give pets my full attention and keep their routines consistent. I live in an apartment with a secure, supervised patio and plenty of space for any crate size. I also take dogs to the on-site dog park for safe exercise and play.

About: I have always loved being around dogs. I used to have one of my own before moving away from my parents’ house. Before moving, I taught my dog a few tricks like sitting, giving me her paw, lying down, not pulling on the leash, and staying in one place. I loved her very much and cared for her as if she were my child, so it won’t be hard for me to care for and love your dog as my own. I have always grown up around dogs, no matter their size or breed. Although I’m not a mom, I tend to have a strong maternal instinct when I’m around them. I currently am going to college and am not working any other job so I am pretty flexible on scheduling at the moment. Right now I only have afternoon classes and there is a good gap in between them where I could fit in a walk. I am also completely open on the weekend Friday through Sunday. When taking care of your pet I would make sure to be aware of how friendly your dog may be I don’t intend on having them be pretty close to other dogs as I can’t predict how nice or reactive the other dogs may be. I would make sure to have water and treats on me as well as monitor how tired your dog may be

About: About Me Hi! My name is Jalyssa, and I’m a 19-year-old Animal Science major currently in college with a huge passion for animal care and wellbeing. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages. I’ve had my own dog for 15 years, where I was actively involved in daily care, training, feeding, walking, grooming, and making sure all of their needs were met. Along with caring for my own pets, I also have experience pet sitting for others and helping raise puppies and kittens, so I’m comfortable with animals that need extra patience, attention, and routine. As someone studying Animal Science, I genuinely love learning about animal health and behavior, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or just someone reliable to keep them company, I’m dedicated to making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. As a college student currently on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m looking for something productive that keeps me busy while also allowing me to do something I genuinely enjoy — spending time with and caring for animals. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I make sure pets are always supervised, kept in a safe environment, and cared for according to their specific routines and needs. I pay close attention during walks, feeding times, playtime, and interactions to ensure your pet stays happy, healthy, and stress-free. I also understand how important communication is, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
“Sarah was a wonderful sitter. She showed so much care for our dog. She was communicative and I felt so comfortable knowing she was there. When we returned from a week long trip our dog seemed so content and our house looked great! I would definitely hire Sarah again!”
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my background in Animal Science and my hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I grew up on a small family ranch caring for livestock, dogs, cats, and other animals, and I am currently studying Animal Science with a pre-veterinary focus at California State University, Chico. I have experience with pets of all ages, from energetic kittens and puppies to senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I understand the importance of following detailed care instructions, administering basic medications when needed, monitoring for changes in behavior or health, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I also enjoy spending quality time with animals through play, enrichment activities, and walks, rather than simply stopping by to feed them. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. As a pet owner myself, I care for my cat every day by feeding him, cleaning his litter box, playing with him, and making sure he gets plenty of attention and enrichment. I also grew up caring for a variety of animals on my family’s ranch, so tending to animals has always been a normal part of my life. My part-time work schedule gives me flexibility to check on pets before and after work, and I am committed to following each pet’s routine as closely as possible. I understand that consistency is important for animals, and I make it a priority to ensure they receive the care, exercise, companionship, and attention they need while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and reduce stress while their owner is away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special needs. For dogs, this includes walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. For cats, I make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and daily interaction based on their personality and comfort level. I also monitor pets for any changes in behavior, appetite, or overall well-being and communicate updates with owners so they can have peace of mind. In addition to caring for the pets, I respect and care for the client’s home by keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as they left it.

About: I have had a dog in my life since I was 1 years old. I love spending my time with animals and reptiles. I have worked with animals ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors. I also work well with larger breeds like Pitbulls, Dobermans, Mastiffs, etc. I have experience with giving medicines and vitamins to pets as instructed. I also am comfortable with reptiles (I have owned some myself) and horse care. I currently have jobs I do for numerous clients so my schedule often changes. Pet sitting/check ins I can almost always fit in especially if you contact me ahead of time so I can alter my schedule. I only will care for pets at the client’s home. I offer check ins and overnight care. I will discuss with you any needs of your pet so I can give them the best possible experience. I will also check in with you to ensure your mind is at ease while you are away.
“Tylyn is awesome! She took great care of my dog and cat while I was away. She sent me regular photos, took my dog on walks and adventures, and kept me up to date about how things were going. And she took amazing care of my house to boot! I hope I can use her again when I travel.”

FAQs for House Sitting - Rancho Llano Seco
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 264 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Rancho Llano Seco. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Rancho Llano Seco walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Rancho Llano Seco maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Rancho Llano Seco choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
