About: I volunteered at Haven Humane Society in Redding for three years, where I gained a lot of experience caring for both cats and dogs. While I was there, I helped clean and sanitize their areas, walked dogs, and spent time socializing with the cats. In my personal life, I have a kitty who is my pride and joy! He does well with other animals and has definitely made my love for animals even stronger. I also had a dog who recently passed away. I had her since she was a puppy and helped train and care for her throughout her life, so I’m very familiar with the puppy world and all the patience and attention that comes with it! For boarding, I’ll make sure your pet has a comfortable and safe space in my home, along with plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks. I do have a cat of my own who does well with other animals, so I will always make sure everyone is introduced safely and is comfortable around each other. For dog walking, I’ll make sure your dog is secure on their leash and follow any instructions you have for their walks. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll respect your space, follow your pet’s normal routine, and make sure everything is clean and secure before I leave. About: I’ve dog sat for family friends since the age of 18. Pet boarding, sitting, walking, and caring for them just like my own dogs! I’ve got 2 friendly and small dogs of my own! I work part time while in school, so I’m currently free on weekends, but will have more availability opening up in mid May through the summer months! I care for them just like my own! My uncle used to be a K9 police dog trainer and has many personal pets. Through him, i've been exposed to various sizes, mentalities, and activity limits. I also have experienced dogs that can be easily spooked and might produce scary looking body language, allowing me to handle de-escalation while respecting the pet. I am currently working a day shift on UC Davis campus but can be available after 4:30pm on weekdays and anytime works on the weekends! I can take care of pets in a clients home by providing treats if allowed and using the environment of the clients home to entertain their pet. When it rained and the dogs came into the house with muddy feet, she asked where the mop was to clean up after them. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
