About: I’ve cared for pets for over 6 years, including dogs of all sizes, cats, and even litters of kittens. From energetic puppies who need patience and play to senior dogs who need a gentler pace, I’ve had hands-on experience with it all. What sets me apart is my attentiveness. I treat every pet as if they were my own, noticing the little things that help them feel safe and happy. Whether it’s a walk, cuddle time, or just keeping them company, I bring a calm and caring energy. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m available for pet care between 8am and 8pm. Since I have pets of my own, I understand how important routine and attention are, and I’ll make sure your pets get the same care and consistency. I plan visits and walks in a way that lets me balance my own animals’ needs with giving yours my full attention. Whether it’s morning, midday, or evening, I’ll work with you to keep your pet’s schedule steady and stress-free. I care for pets with the same attentiveness I give my own. Whether I’m in your home or out on a walk, safety always comes first, from keeping leashes secure to making sure food, water, and routines are followed. I’m comfortable with brushing, feeding, playtime, and walks, and I take care to notice the little details that help pets feel secure. I also respect your home and your pet’s routines, so you can trust they’ll be cared for exactly the way you prefer.
“Sequoyah is a very thoughtful and caring person. She took great care of our dog and our home while we were away, and sent frequent updates and photos. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing Harper was in great hands!”

About: At 15 years old I started house sitting. Part of house sitting included watching animals. I have took care of dogs, cats, birds, chickens, turkeys, geese, fish, and lizards during this time. I got my first pet dog at 3 years old and got another dog at 14 which I trained with help and guidance from a professional trainer. I also have a pet cat and in the past had a pet snake. I have a variety of experience with animals and would love to watch and care for yours:) I currently work part time and am enrolled in college online so I have a pretty open schedule and am willing to work around my schedule to make it work best for you. I currently am not interested in taking care of other peoples animals in my own home but in your home I promise to follow the schedule and tasks set for me to provide the best experience. I will ask questions when needed to ensure I am doing everything right by you.
“Tylyn did a fantastic job house sitting while we were away. She sent us pictures throughout the whole weekend and put us at ease. Would absolutely recommend her. Our dogs are pretty high strung being pointers, and she was wonderful for our fur babies!!”

“Lauren is amazing. We have so many pets it’s difficult for us to relax while on vacation but she made our trip that much better knowing she was here. Dogs cats koi tortoise and bearded dragon and everyone is doing great when we got home. My family couldn’t recommend her more. Thanks again Lauren.”

“Ashley took care of our beloved Murphy expertly. She always provided pictures and updates to us. She was also available wherever we needed to talk on the phone. While she house sat and took care of our cat, she also watered all our plants and our home was spotless after our week-long vacation. We would highly recommend Ashley to care for any of your fur babies and home.”

About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart as I have had several dogs since I was born that were all well loved. I offer loving, reliable care with plenty of play, cuddles, and attention to your pet’s needs. Whether it’s a walk, a weekend stay, or just some company while you're away, I treat every animal like my own. With experience, patience, and a calming presence, your pets will be in safe, happy hands if you decide to choose me to be your sitter. I currently have a lot of availability as I am not in school, but without a job. Thursdays I dont have any method of transportation other than walking or biking so I will only accept walking distance jobs on those days. I'm available any time between 10am and 7pm for non-overnight jobs. When caring for someones fur baby, I make sure to follow the owner's instructions carefully, keeping the pet’s routine consistent. I provide fresh food and water, ensure plenty of playtime, walks, or cuddles depending on their needs, and keep their environment clean and safe. I also send regular updates and photos to reassure the owner. Most importantly, I treat their pet as if they were my own, giving them love, patience, and attention throughout my stay.
About: I’ve been around all kinds of dogs since I was young. I have always loved being around dogs(and cats!), I definitely bond better with animals than humans. I love my mini Australian shepherd, Ollie, with my whole entire heart, and I would love your pets as well💕 I work part time, so I am available pretty much always! The days I work, it is from 5:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. so I would have the rest of the day to hang with your animals! Now that summer is here and school is over, my availability is even more open. I am able to follow any expectations or requests left concerning your pets! I will not be boarding other’s pets in my own home however, I am only available for home stay in overnight situations.
“Sarah was a wonderful sitter. She showed so much care for our dog. She was communicative and I felt so comfortable knowing she was there. When we returned from a week long trip our dog seemed so content and our house looked great! I would definitely hire Sarah again!”
“Lucy did an excellent job better than I could've hoped for. I was in terrible shape anxious because I had to leave my best for a friend family member to be with a family member that has stage four pancreatic cancer so it's just been a lot it was a big ordeal and, Lucy did an outstanding job. I'm so grateful. Thanks and gratitude them in tears practically so relieved home and all is well...,thank you bless you.”

“Aly is the BEST!!!!! I have all rescue pets, which means they can be challenging at times. We have 3 large dogs, 4 cats, 2 horses and 6 chickens. Their ages range from 1 year old minions (kittens) to seniors. We also live outin the country which can be a challenge and of course our new well pump had an issue. Aly handled it better than I!😆 The best compliment I can give is that when we came home, all the kids were excited to see us, but all were acting normal and happy, not like the usual "you abandoned us" attitude. Bonus, Aly even washed her own sheets (not something I would have asked her to do or expected). Again, she's the BEST!!!!”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. From going through their daily routines to understanding their unique personalities and boundaries, I provide attentive, loving care. I have also handled farm sitting, so I am comfortable with a wide range of animals and responsibilities. I am currently a college student, so my schedule may vary slightly by semester. I'm flexible and prioritize clear, consistent communication to coordinate what works best for you and your pet. I provide calm, in-home care by sticking closely to your pet's routines to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. I also make sure your home is respected and kept tidy, and that your pets feel safe and secure while you're away.

About: I have always loved being around dogs. I used to have one of my own before moving away from my parents’ house. Before moving, I taught my dog a few tricks like sitting, giving me her paw, lying down, not pulling on the leash, and staying in one place. I loved her very much and cared for her as if she were my child, so it won’t be hard for me to care for and love your dog as my own. I have always grown up around dogs, no matter their size or breed. Although I’m not a mom, I tend to have a strong maternal instinct when I’m around them. I currently am going to college and am not working any other job so I am pretty flexible on scheduling at the moment. Right now I only have afternoon classes and there is a good gap in between them where I could fit in a walk. I am also completely open on the weekend Friday through Sunday. When taking care of your pet I would make sure to be aware of how friendly your dog may be I don’t intend on having them be pretty close to other dogs as I can’t predict how nice or reactive the other dogs may be. I would make sure to have water and treats on me as well as monitor how tired your dog may be
About: I’ve been caring for dogs and pets of all kinds for over 2 years. I started pet sitting at a young age for neighbors, friends, and family, and it quickly became something people regularly relied on me for. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, playing with, and giving lots of love and attention to pets of all sizes and personalities. I’m very patient, dependable, and detail-oriented, and I always make sure to follow each pet’s routine and care instructions exactly as given. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away, so I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m comfortable caring for energetic dogs, shy or anxious pets, and senior animals who may need a little extra patience and care. I’m also comfortable following medication and special care routines if needed. I always make sure pet parents receive updates and photos so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around my responsibilities, which allows me to be consistent, reliable, and flexible when it comes to visits, feedings, playtime, and check-ins. Since I’m already used to caring for my own cat, Selene, daily pet care is a normal part of my life. I make sure every pet gets the time and attention they need, whether that’s scheduled drop-in visits, feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, or just spending time keeping them company. I’m very organized and good at sticking to routines, so following each pet’s specific care instructions and schedule is never a problem for me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions, and make sure litter boxes are cleaned, water is refreshed, and the home is left tidy. I make sure each animal gets the right balance of playtime, affection, and calm companionship depending on their personality. I always move at their pace, especially with shy or anxious fur babies, and never force interaction. My goal is to make every animal feel safe, comfortable, and secure in their own environment while their owner is away. I also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your fur baby is being well cared for.

About: I have volunteered extensively at my local animal shelter, where I gained hands-on experience working with dogs of all temperaments and energy levels. During my time there, I learned effective ways to provide mental enrichment, exercise, and positive interactions to keep dogs happy and stimulated. I am currently an Animal Science major, which has strengthened my knowledge of animal behavior, health, and proper care practices. I am passionate about providing safe, attentive, and compassionate care, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I am currently working part-time which means I have availability every day! I will only be available in the afternoons on weekdays. On the weekend my schedule will vary. I have had my dog for 8 years, and two years ago, we welcomed a brother into our family. I devote most of my time to ensuring they are happy and safe, as they truly feel like my babies. I'm also majoring in Animal Science at Chico State, where I'm eager to deepen my knowledge and understanding of animals

FAQs for House Sitting - Ramada
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 309 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Ramada. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Ramada walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Ramada maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ramada choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ramada. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 89% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
