About: Hi there! You can call me Joy :) when I care for your pet I will send you updates with pictures and can communicate every good, not so good, and/or boring detail with you! I do not hesitate to ask for clarification on anything when it comes to the needs of you and your pet. I am also happy to help you with any other house chores while you are away (collecting mail, watering plants, etc). I find it important to set up a meet and greet with you and your pet if possible. When I care for your pet I understand that I am in the space they call home. Building trust with you and your pet is an important first step for me to provide the best services for your needs. In 2018 I adopted a dog of my own and she is my world! I adopted my dog through Best Friends Animal Shelter and she came with little to no background information. She was fearful and showed signs of a traumatized past. I had to train a puppy during the “T-Rex” phase (RIP many articles of clothing and furniture legs” and learned that several rounds of fetch will only slow a working dog for about 20 min before they’re ready to go again. The biggest skill I learned when adopting my dog was handling her reactivity. She was the sweetest girl at home, mostly shy in the beginning and hesitant to come out of her shell. So it was a huge shock when taking her out on her first few walks to see her lunge and pull with all her might towards everything and everyone that passed by. Her size and breed made it especially stressful and embarrassing and there were many days where I felt like I couldn’t handle it. With a lot of patience and treats and maybe also some crying Kona came out of her first year at home a thriving happy girl! Bringing her home was one of the most challenging experiences of my life but watching her grow and blossom into the silly, loving pup she is has been the greatest reward. I have a set schedule at my part time job and can establish morning/afternoon/night schedules around it. I am also in the process of applying for grad school and would love to prioritize pet care as my main job if possible, I am eager to build a clientele! As the owner of a reactive dog I am comfortable reading behavioral cues that may indicate if your pet is in need of extra support, attention, or space.

“Tamara was such a wonderful dog sitter for our sweet boy, Wallace. She was very communicative and sent so many cute videos and photos!! She even made a trip to TJ Maxx for some blankets for our boy, to help alleve some of his anxiety. We appreciated her so much and would absolutely have her stay over again.”

“Molly is absolutely amazing. She is so patient and understanding with my reactive dog even when he's at his worst! Molly is a great communicator and I trust her with my dogs and home 100%!”

About: So many friends and neighbors wanted me to take care of their dogs when i was just a kid cause they knew that i can understand their language. I have experiences with puppies and senior care. I know that all doggies need different care. I am very good at potty training and obedience training. I also have first aid training🤍 Please read the following before booking either of these services: Day Care means: Between 0-10 hours Boarding means: Between 10-24 hours For summer period i am free every day and i can start working really early if my client needs. I don’t like to go for walks so late for me and my client’s safety. I have a fenced backyard; we mostly play there and hangout together. I only walk with leash, sometimes dogs see rabbits or squirrels and chase after them. We don’t want anyone to get hurt or scared 🫶🏻

“Amanda was great with our dog. She sent us photo updates frequently and took amazing care of our fuzzy son. We will call her every time we need support and supervision for our dog!”

About: I've taken care of animals since a kid and it wasnt until I had my very own dog that I realized how important an animal is to their human. I offer socialization, stimulation, and a safe, healthy and happy environment so you can go do your human things without worrying about your animal. I have historically done animal rescue and understand each dog has their own personality with their own needs, and I am here to provide that. I can easily administer meds including eye drops and insulin when needed. I am home most of the time other than maybe an errand to town so no worries about your dog being alone for extended periods. Dogs are free to roam the apartment and relax with music in the short time that I may be gone. While I live in an apartment, the grounds have beautiful walking areas, a fenced doggie park, and plenty of sniffs to smell in a well maintained gated community.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep love and genuine care for animals, especially dogs. As a proud dog owner of my own energetic 1.5-year-old golden doodle pup named Teddy, I understand the unique bond between humans and their pets. I bring a personal touch to every sitting experience, ensuring dogs feel safe, loved, and at ease while I'm caring for them. In addition to being a dedicated dog parent, I have experience with a wide range of dogs, from puppies to seniors. I’m comfortable handling basic training, ensuring your pup has a positive and enriching experience with me. I know how important it is to maintain routine, especially with puppies who are learning and senior dogs who may need a little extra care. My goal is to provide a personalized experience that caters to each dog’s unique needs and personality. Whether it's playtime, walks, or simply offering companionship, I take pride in making sure every dog in my care is treated like family. I am a college senior at Cal State Northridge studying communication studies. I have full availability especially with the holiday season coming up, Mon-Sun as needed. I provide a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment in my home, where pets can feel at ease. My home is pet-proofed with plenty of space for them to play and relax. I ensure that pets have access to fresh water, healthy food, and regular potty breaks. I also offer daily walks, interactive playtime, and mental stimulation through puzzles or toys. If a pet is more low-key, I’ll provide a cozy spot for naps and plenty of cuddle time. I keep a consistent routine to help pets feel secure, while also ensuring they get the attention and care they need. For Care in the Client's Home: When caring for pets in their own homes, I focus on maintaining their routine as closely as possible to reduce stress. I ensure they’re fed on time, get regular exercise, and receive lots of attention and affection. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions the owner provides, whether that’s regarding feeding, medications, or daily activities. I also keep the home tidy, take out trash, and bring in mail or packages as needed. My goal is to make the pet feel loved and safe, while respecting their home environment.

About: My family has been boarding dogs since I was 10 years old, so I grew up taking care of animals. Between the hundreds of dogs I’ve cared for, I have never met a dog, big or small, that I didn’t like. I walk, feed, and pick up after dogs every day! My schedule tightens when college starts in late September, but my summers and weekends are very flexible! I am always willing to negotiate for most times of day. I like to take pictures of the dogs I meet to send to the owners as a check up (with permission). I am always attentive and prioritize confirming the animal’s wellbeing above all else, whether that be making sure the dog eats before I leave or is cool enough in the California heat.

“Sara is fantastic! She’s kind, professional and compassionate and made an instant connection with my dogs. She got to know them and all their little quirks and they loved their time with her. She sent lots of pics and videos and made me feel completely at ease while I was gone.”

“Heather kindly helped care for my two ragdoll cats. I appreciated her flexibility and reliability while I was away. My kitties are usually quite social, so I’m hopeful that with a bit more time and familiarity, they’ll warm up more on the next visit. I’m looking forward to having her back again soon.”

5 stars!! van stayed at our house and pet sat for our three pets for a 10 day trip. she was fantastic and we highly recommend her! throughout the entire trip, she kept us updated every single day on how our dog and cats were doing. she sent us several photos and videos each day and we could tell they had a great time with her. she kept our cats entertained and active, and spent a lot of time with our dog who prefers to be around someone for most of the day. 🤭 she also took really good care of our house, helped out with the trash/recycling and cat litter, and left it super clean and tidy for when we returned. we’re so appreciative of van’s care and attention for all three pets and will definitely be rebooking with her again very soon!

I was very happy with Christina who took care of my elderly dog, Milo. She was pro active when it looked like he might need a vet visit and kept me informed. When I returned home, she had taken out the trash and made sure Milo's dishes were clean. That was greatly appreciated. i would highly recommend her and would use her again.

First time using Lexy. Immediate response.. She was wonderful with our dogs, send pictures throughout the day of the dogs playing, etc. She was willing to house sit, a definite, plus! She does the little things without even asking, brings in the mail, takes out the trash. I don’t think my dogs miss me one bit:) will definitely reach out to Lexy for other dates!

Grace is an amazing dog sitter and we would recommend her to anyone. She stayed in touch daily and shared photos/videos to show us how Ruby was doing, going above and beyond with her care. We were able to truly relax during our vacation knowing Ruby was in great hands. We would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Jayda stayed over night and took great care of Bruce!!! We had an incident with Bruce catching a squirrel on my patio, and Jayda handled the situation perfectly. She immediately called me, sent photos, cleaned his paws and the mess and kept me updated on the situation status. She cared for my home and Bruce with great kindness, care and compassion. I’m really happy to have had Jayda there and thankful she handled this emergency with such professional care. We’ll definitely use her services again! ♥️

Molly was amazing! I sent her a last minute request to dog sit my anxious dog and she responded right away. She was very thorough about asking the right questions, getting to know my dog’s needs, and making sure he felt safe and comfortable throughout their time together.

Tammy took good care of my boy Huck and of my apartment while she stayed with him. She sent regular updates so I knew how things were going. She was flexible and easy going with scheduling a meet up and key exchanges along with working out an additional day when I asked if she could. She also communicated her work schedule so I knew when he was alone.

Kaitlin S. Did a fantastic job house sitting for our two high maintenance small dogs . We will have her back for sure ! She was in contact with us every day and sent daily pictures and videos which we truly appreciate. It was a long trip for us , so we were so happy she was here with our dogs ! 5 STAR job !!! I’m so happy that I found Kaitlin S.

Rachel arrived on time both days to take care of our dog, who had never been separated from us before. The elevator of hotel we were staying in was terrifying to him. Rachel found a mutually acceptable solution, thereby avoiding the biggest trigger of our dog's fears and anxieties. Rachel kept us updated with regular photos and texts of our pup. Thank you, Rachel! Highly recommend!

Sara is fantastic! She’s kind, professional and compassionate and made an instant connection with my dogs. She got to know them and all their little quirks and they loved their time with her. She sent lots of pics and videos and made me feel completely at ease while I was gone.

Lexy was outstanding in every way. She's attentive to detail, flexible, caring, and a great communicator. We have two dogs and a cat, each with different dietary and medication requirements. Thawing and food prep are required, along with monitoring to keep the pets out of each other's food. Adding to the challenge was the last minute addition of our son's two dogs, when his sitter fell through. Lexy took it all in stride, managed the whole zoo, kept us informed with a steady stream of photos and reports, and left the house clean, neat, and organized. What more could we ask? Highly recommend her to anyone interested in giving their pets a great experience, where they'll never feel "left-behind."
