“I was so comfortable leaving my baby, Jackson, with Xiomara as they instantly hit it off and knowing he was loved and well cared for made my trip away from home that much easier! She is attentive, loving and goes above and beyond for the kitties she cares for and their mommas!”

“Barbara is great with our boys Mickey and Joey. She always plays with them and gives them loving attention. One of our cats requires medication and Barbara reports on on his health and medication intake-Joey hides at pill time but barbara persists with our reluctant boy. Barbara is reliable and we all enjoy her visits!”

About: I have experience both cat sitting and dog sitting for owners who have been out of town for extended periods of time. I have also cared for my family dog and own personal cat! I am currently working full time, so I am available for morning and/or evening care, overnight stays as well as weekend care! I currently cannot offer care in my own home because of my own pet. I offer in-home stays and visits so your pet can be comfortable in their own environment! I am knowledgeable about animals and attentive to their needs. I have experience caring for animals with unique needs, such as my family dog, who has high anxiety that influences her behavior. I love to play with pets and will always make sure they receive adequate attention based on their needs.

About: I have been proud to be a shih tzu owner for 3 years with my family. I have also been pet sitting and walking since I was 12 I walk and feed my dog on a daily basis. I also play with him during my free time and weather permitting, take him to the dog park I currently live in an apartment while occasionally staying at my parents house. I make sure to give them the care they need and show them how much they are loved.

“Amrit was fantastic! Super communicative and kind. I could tell our cat was well taken care of for the week he spent with Amrit. Amrit was also very flexible and understanding with changes in plans. HIGHLY recommend and would 1000p book with him again!”

About: I've lived with dogs my whole life and have a bunch of dog friends that I love saying hello to on my walks. I am often trusted to watch or walk dogs by family members and friends. I have been told that I am very good with dogs, and I love them all the same, I love saying hi to dogs on my walks and I often go to my mother's house to help take care of our Beagle. Dogs are my happy place and I live being around them! On days when it is raining out and we can't walk outside as much as we'd like I like to play with the dogs inside the house for a bit to help get out the extra energy, it's a lot of fun!

“Paula was wonderful with our 19 year old cat Simon. She took great care of him and sent lots of photos and even videos. I was worried that he might be grumpy and unhappy boarding but I think he felt very comfortable and really liked Paula. We are so happy that we found Paula and would definitely bring Simon back to board if we need to go out of town again.”

About: I have a dog of my own that I got in late 2020. He was a rescue so he started out very shy and distrustful, now Frosty is bursting with energy and has fully come out of his shell. I have also pet sat for my grandmother’s dog and friend’s dogs in recent years. An animal’s wellbeing is my highest priority when they are in my care. I take them out every couple hours if they are antsy and am happy to play, cuddle, and give them my attention. Ultimately, I just love to see tails wagging :) My current full time job is front desk at the Madison Hotel. I would need to give two weeks notice to get time off for long periods of pet care. I can fit shorter visits into my existing schedule most days, I work a variety of shifts, but most frequently 7am-3pm, so my afternoons and evenings are usually very open. While my dog Frosty is very gentle with humans, he is not friendly towards other dogs, so I am unable to host animals in my own home. I can take out your pets for frequent walks or keep them entertained inside, whichever you prefer. My only caveat is that I am asthmatic so I have trouble keeping up with a dog that requires a lot of running or walks around a hilly neighborhood.

“Leigh took wonderful care of our two senior cats. She was comfortable giving one of our cats his medication twice a day and sent us good notes and pictures each day. Leigh is also just lovely and easy to talk to. From our initial meet and greet, it was clear she cares for animals and "gets" how to approach them. We feel confident leaving our boys in her care and will definitely try to book her again in the future!”

Chatham cat parents share their Rover experiences
We went for a two-day trip with the family and needed someone to take care of the cat at home while we were out. Nicole did a great job making sure our cat had food, water, a clean litter box, some play time and some well deserved treats! Nicole updated us with pictures and a detailed description of everything that she did. Thank you for making us having a worry-free trip!

Alissa is excellent and our cat loves her! We just moved to the area and this is our first time having Alissa sitting our cat. The cat is usually very shy with strangers, but somehow he loves Alissa a lot. Everyday we get many pictures of them having fun, and Alissa told us Enrique was very talkative, which rarely happened before! Alissa is a real friend of Enrique. And we will definitely work with her again on our next vacation.

Kat is such a thoughtful and caring cat sitter! I was so happy to come home to a clean space and two very happy, well-adjusted cats. She sent me many adorable photos every day, and it was clear she genuinely loves animals and treated my cats with so much care and attention. My cats clearly loved her too! I’d absolutely ask her to help again next time.

For our vacation trip, we needed someone to take care of the cat at home. Heather did an amazing job, came twice a day, took care of everything, and provided pictures after each visit. The kids were happy to see the cat under good hands, which made our vacation worry-free!
