“5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dakota was absolutely amazing! She took care of my home, two cats, and even a fish while I was away, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She gave my pets so much love and attention, sent regular updates and photos, and left my home spotless. I came back to happy animals and everything just as I left it. I felt completely at ease knowing Dakota was there. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and communicative sitter!”

About: I have worked with Fido’s for freedom, training service dog puppies for around five years. I also have had my own family dog for 7 years. I love dog sitting for friends and family back home in Annapolis. I am a junior at College of Charleston but I am free most days. My free days are Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. And my non free days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday because of classes I would love to do anything you require of me for your pet. I would walk and feed them and of course play with them along with anything else you need me to do.

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life and I give them so much love. I love going on walks, playing with them, and cuddling. I will also make sure your dog or cat stays busy with something fun! I’m a student at the College of Charleston and a Starbucks barista! Some days are busier than others, but we can discuss and make things work! I currently live in an apartment on the Peninsula so your pet may stay at my apartment or I can take care of them in your home. I would ensure that your pet is well fed, is taken out every few hours, and has some play-time!

I miss Kyra so much and would love to take care of some doggies or any animals! Walks or dog sitting! I am a college student looking to help out family’s with animals! I am also looking for other work as well but am currently very available I will be very responsible in anyone else’s home and treat it as my own. Same as your pet! I will take good care of your home and pet and give them so much love!

About: Hi, I’m Caroline! I’ve been lucky enough to share my life with 4 dogs throughout the years, which taught me not only the joy of puppy energy but also the patience and compassion needed for senior care. Because of that, I’m comfortable caring for pets at every stage of life. Whether it’s helping a puppy learn routines, keeping up with an active dog, or providing the gentle attention an older pup deserves. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I’ll treat yours like my own with love, reliability, and plenty of belly rubs. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule right now! I’m currently looking for a full-time position, which means I have plenty of flexibility and open availability. Whether you need daily walks, drop-ins, or overnight care, I’m able to adjust to your pet’s routine and be there whenever you need. Right now, I live with roommates so I’m not able to host pets in my own home. However, I’d be happy to come to your home to care for your dog! I know pets feel most comfortable in their own space, and I’ll make sure they get the same love, attention, and routine they’re used to.

About: I have years of experience with dogs and cats of all ages and will be sure to treat your pet as if they are my own. I’m currently working part time so I am available in the mornings and evenings. I am also open to boarding Monday - Thursday as needed. I live extremely close to Hampton Park and could go on walks multiple times a day. My apartment building also has a fenced in area to take pets out in a safe environment.

About: I'm quick to respond and reliable! I LOVE walking and I have a 15 pound Toy Aussie Doodle/King Charles (hypoallergenic) who loves other dogs as well! I like to get outside and go for walks whenever I have a break in my work day. I wake up early and go to bed early and take them out first thing in AM and last thing in PM. At my house, lots of naps, playing, going around the block, toys, treats (if allowed), and just a good time hanging during the day with me and my pup Freddie!

“Amy came by 3 times a day and made me feel completely at ease with her and taking care of Sweetie. She checked in multiple times a day with pictures and texts. You can really tell she loves what she is doing”

“Karina was a delight to work with. She was always very communicative and professional. I would recommend her to anyone, and I look forward to working with her again someday. Thanks, Karina!”

Charleston dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah was wonderful with our Honey during a drop in visit! She sent pictures and updates which is so appreciated. She made sure to give Honey all the love and took her out for a potty break. We appreciated Sarah’s updates and felt that our fur baby was in great hands. Thank you, Sarah!

Isaiah came to help us with our disabled senior dog. He was very kind and gentle with her. He did everything we asked him to do plus took her for a couple of walks in her stroller. The heat made it hard to do every day. Zoe was so at ease with him that she let him place her harness on her. She is very attached to her Daddy, who cannot take her out to potty due to recent surgery. We def hope to see Isaiah again soon!

Danielle was so wonderful with my dog. She took the instructions I provided and followed with great attention to detail and care. My dog truly loved the time she spent with her, and I felt she was in great hands during my time away. It’s always great to have someone you can trust with pets, and Danielle was such a great fit for my dog and I!

Cameron is the best! She has been super helpful as I raise my new puppy on my own. She is always on time and lets me know when she arrives and when she leaves. She also always sends me pictures which I love🥰 Cameron has also even been working with my puppy on things such as sit, stay, and lie down. I was super hesitant to just leave my “baby” with anyone but Cameron has been super trustworthy!

I had the absolute pleasure of having Christina and Russ watch my dog, Zorro, for four days, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care and attention they gave him. From the start, they were communicative, reliable, and incredibly kind. They treated Zorro like he was their own, making sure he was happy, safe, and loved while I was away. It’s always nerve-wracking leaving your pet behind, but Christina and Russ made the entire experience stress free. I came home to a very content pup and could tell he’d been well taken care of. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate dog sitters. Zorro already misses them!

As someone who travels frequently, finding a reliable and caring dog sitter is essential, and Brittany has been wonderful during my stay in Charleston ! She has taken wonderful care of my dog every time I’ve been away, providing regular updates and always making sure my pup is happy and well-cared for. Brittany is not only responsible and trustworthy but also genuinely loves animals, which gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend for your dog sitting needs :)
