About: I've had pets my whole life, from dogs to ferrets, and have taken care of the family cat for the last 8 years. As such, with this experience in mind, neighbors and friends have had no issue with asking me to care for their pets. I pride myself with reliability and attention to detail, but above all else, know the value of a job well done. Whether it's playing with them, cleaning up, or general care, everything done will be to my upmost ability. Can't wait to meet your furry friend! As a student who's attending virtual classes, not only am I current on summer break, but throughout the semester I'll easily be able to make visits at my own discretion. After 9 in the morning, I'm pretty much ready for anything, all the way into the night. I'm very particular about, when taking care of other's pet's, to follow their instructions to a T, with no deviation unless otherwise directed or necessary. When visiting the homes of others, I'm mindful of keeping to the spaces I need to be in, and ensuring that everything is as I found it.

About: I can’t have my own dog right now, so I’d love to hang out with yours! I grew up with dogs (puppies to old dogs) and I have watched friends’, neighbors’, and family members’ dogs for them. I am responsible and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I work on campus ~9-5 pm (M-F), but my schedule is somewhat flexible if hours need to be adjusted for the pet. I am available all day on weekends and most weeknights. I am a responsible PhD student and will do my best to take care of both your pet and your home and follow any specific guidelines from you. I will take your dog on a run in the morning if you’d like, and I’d love to play with your dog/cat. :) I’m also happy to transport your pet in my car.

About: Hi, my name is Caroline and I’d love to walk your dogs! I have always lived with dogs and/or cats of all different breeds and sizes and have worked extensively with the free-roaming populations of dogs in the Southwestern US. I also have experience with difficult to walk dogs and puppies, but am not partial to any pup :) I am currently a student with a flexible schedule and often have time in the late afternoon or evenings to walk your dogs. I can also work with different schedules to best accommodate your needs. I always try and let my/your dogs lead the walk; stopping to sniff is super important! I prefer walking on the rail trails or in neighborhoods!

About: I am a PhD student at UNC-CH, and I have been caring for dogs, cats, and all kinds of pets in between for as long as I can remember! I love working with animals, and I cherish the opportunity to get to know each pet’s unique personality. I have a very sweet, very high-energy rescue hound of my own at home, so I am particularly attuned to the needs of rescue animals. I strive to care for every pet as though they were my own. I am a full-time graduate student, so my schedule is very busy, but also more flexible than a traditional 9-5! My main availability is currently on the weekends, but I also have some free time during the week. I’m happy to work together to build a schedule that works best for your needs (and those of your pet!). I prioritize the safety and security of animals above all else, and I think the best way to go about this is being thoughtful during visits and attentive to owner instructions. You know your pet best, and I promise to adhere to caring for them just as you would if you were there!

About: Between us, we have raised 4 dogs, trained 3 of them from when they were puppies, and cared for over a dozen. We also have raised an orange cat who is as well-trained as a cat can be. We are a pair of teachers on summer break, so we have some flexibility during the day for dog walking or drop-in visits. We can do weekdays and weekends. We have experience meeting all kinds of pet needs! Anxious dogs, finicky eaters, crate training, leash training, high energy dogs, flighty cats, etc. etc. We can walk, play with, feed, provide water, brush, and whatever else your pet needs.

“Nora did an amazing job with taking care of our two cats while we were away. She was incredibly responsive, diligent, and clearly cared about the wellbeing of our animals. When our automatic litter box was having issues, she took the time to clean the sensors and make sure it was working again. We would not hesitate to book her again or to recommend her services to others looking for top quality care for their pets.”

“Hannah watched my cat last Christmas, and she was so great I was excited to book her again this year! She’s very responsive, sends great pictures, and my girl Mindy loves hanging out with her.”

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for the past four years, and I grew up with multiple Australian Shepherds in my house. I am a big runner and love taking dogs hiking and running with me too. This past summer I worked as a vet tech at an animal hospital back home in Nashville and raised a new puppy of my own. I have dog sat for new puppies and older dogs with multiple medications/ointments and everything in between! I am currently a student at UNC Chapel Hill so I am in class for about 4 hours/day, but other than that my schedule is very flexible. I cannot care for pets in my home currently, but in clients’ homes I make sure to spend time with the animals and usually play with them in the yard (if possible) and take them on walks around the neighborhood or drive them to the park to go for a hike.

About: I've been pet sitting for neighbors, family, and friends since middle school. As a senior in college, I have taken care of a wide range of pets, ranging from German Shepards and Boxers, to tiny toy poodles and chihuahuas. I've also pet sit for hamsters, guinea pigs, and even fish. I have worked as a full time nanny for the past 5 summers, and every family had both dogs and cats, so I've learned how to juggle responsibilities and make sure everyone gets the attention and care they deserve. I have four cats of my own, one of which lives with me at college. I am comfortable with elderly pets, can administer insulin and other medication, and can walk miles with your dog if needed (I love a hot girl walk)! I've lived my entire life with pets, so there isn't much I can't handle in terms of quirks and needs. I am currently a senior at UNC Chapel Hill (go Heels!) and my classes are all from about noon-3 every day. This leaves me plenty of time to visit and walk pets in the morning and nights! If your pet needs me to stay with them for a longer period of time, I can always bring my homework and hang out for a while. In addition to being a nanny, I have also house sit for neighbors, including overnights. Because of my class schedule, I am most likely not able to do overnight stays, but I can stay late and be early to your home if needed! I will make sure your home and belongings stay secure and clean. I am responsible and reliable and will make sure to leave everything better than I found it!

About: I've watched my friends and family members' cats and dogs for years now. I'm the owner of a sassy cat and am comfortable caring for pets of all attitudes. I am a student who will have multiple days free throughout the summer semester. I will be free for pet care most weekends and also some weekdays. I have a cat at home who is very comfortable with small dogs who are cat-friendly. However, I will be best able to care for your pets in your own home as I can leave my cat at home with regular check-ins. I will be respectful of your space, maintaining cleanliness while spending quality time with your pets.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s been caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes since I was 10. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a laid-back senior, I treat every dog like family. I’m here to make sure your furry friend feels safe, loved, and well-cared for while you’re away! As a college student at UNC, I have a flexible schedule with mornings and afternoons free, which makes it easy for me to fit in pet care. I’m also happy to help on weekends and holidays. Always keeping an eye on a pet is the most important thing because in any second something could happen. Pets are like children and need strong supervision!

“Nadia is a gem. She was wonderful at watching my fur babies and they don’t take easily to just anybody. She was kind, patient, and very transparent about what went well and what was a challenge. In the end, Nadia was able to get my Coffee to warm up to her. I will definitely call her again.”

“Connor provided exceptional care for our doggies. He’s not only caring but also punctual and highly professional. I’m grateful for his exceptional service and highly recommend him to anyone seeking reliable pet care.”

About: Pre-Vet student at UNC Chapel Hill! I managed a doggie daycare for 3 years in highschool and also dog sat on the side in my free time. My pets are my world and I just love to be around animals! I’m also not afraid to get bitten or break up a fight if needed 🤞🏼:) I’m currently a full-time student with 2 jobs. Some weeks are super busy while others are quite slow. Just looking for something to fill my time that I enjoy. Being away from my pets for college is hard so I would like to surround myself with some more animals in my daily life. I have always kept a close eye on the pets I am caring for! They are like your children and need lots of attention. Whatever the pet desires I will give them whether that’s a ton of belly rubs or to be left alone ;)

About: I’ve on and off taken care of pets of my friends and family since middle school, and my love for animals has yet increased! I also have a little dog of my own, and caring for her has been a pleasure. Currently, I am a college student attending UNC-Chapel hill! When I am home, I am on a daily routine to feeding, walking, and caring for my dog. Consistency is key for pet care! I have a little dog who loves attention, and I give her all of it! Chapel Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
I highly recommend Nora for Rover's dog sitting assignments! Nora gave great care during her drop-in visits for my two dogs. She has a wonderful communication style, obvious love for dogs and professional diligence with completing all the needed detail. I have a 14 year old Sheltie that needs to be carried down steps for the bathroom breaks into the yard. Nora did not find this to be a problem. She was very competent and comfortable with this higher ask. I plan to ask her for overnight stays with my dogs in the future. Grateful for Nora and Rover!

Mason was AWESOME! We had a stressful situation pop up where our newly adopted pup needed last minute care on a holiday weekend. Mason responded quickly and was totally willing to help. We got her the care details for our pup and she took it from there! She did an amazing job caring our pup, provided some very cute pictures, and spent quality time with him. She was patient with him and took time to help him get acclimated with his kennel. In short, Mason is caring, trustworthy, and AWESOME. Will definitely reach out to her in the future. We highly recommend Mason!!!

As always, Claire was a huge help. We had a last minute trip come up and needed someone to check in on our two dogs while we were gone. Claire was great with both of them, gave them walks and care a couple times per day, and was open and communicative the whole time. I highly recommend her for anyone who needs a petsitter.
