“I found Sandra last year when I went on vacation, I had two dogs and didn’t realize at the time but the oldest one had a brain tumor that hadn’t been diagnosed at the time of my vacation. Molly was very restless, Sandra was very patient and tried soothing music to help her. After many test and few months finally was diagnosed with the brain tumor. This year my other lab tore his ACL a month before I was suppose to leave on vacation and had surgery 3 weeks before I was due to leave. 12 week recovery time and very strict instructions I was going to cancel my trip, I reached out to Sandra and she said I understand if you feel like you need to cancel but I have had labs with torn ACL and had surgery and I will follow the surgeon instructions and give Bailey lots of love. Since Bailey sleeps in bed with me and wasn’t allowed to jump up or down I bought adult dog bed and slept on the floor with him. I left a crate for Sandra to put him in at night but she chose to sleep on the dog bed on the floor with Bailey. To have someone that is knowledgeable and cares for your pet like you do is priceless and to know I didn’t have anything to worry about. Sandra gives me lots of updates and Bailey loves her. My son booked a last minute vacation in June and wanted me to go when I checked Sandra availability she was booked I didn’t trust anyone else with Bailey with his recovery restrictions. I cannot say enough good things about Sandra she is definitely a true dog lover and piece of mind so I can really enjoy my time away. Thank you Sandra for all you do for me and especially Bailey.”

“It is honestly hard to put into words how great an experience I had with Lois without sounding hyperbolic. She was a perfect guardian of my home, my kitties, and my anxious heart. I'd never left my kitties for even a night, and I'd never used a sitting service but was offered the chance to visit my son in the Netherlands for 3 weeks and I couldn't pass it up. I just needed to feel at peace with how I left things at home. Lois was wonderful. She came over early for a meet and greet, and it was immediately obvious she is a kind, intelligent, and gentle person. I have two cats from a horrible hoarding situation who have taken years to feel safe, and they both took to her immediately! My stray, who came to me barely weaned, took a while but even he came around (he is scared of the cars going by the house). She took notes! (Something I always wished people I trained at work would do) Lois and I chatted a bit fairly frequently via a chat app, and she always sent what she called "proof of life" pictures, all of which were so dear. (One was of the kitties waking her up one morning. Such a typical thing in my home, and its normalcy was what made it great. That, and someone just waking up having the presence of mind to grab their phone and record this little domestic scene!) In our chats, just by the way she talked about my kitties it was VERY clear she'd quickly picked up on their personalities, quirks, and needs. The very language she used talking about how they were doing made it obvious she was talking about my kitties, and not just generic kitty language. And she left my home cleaner than I left it for her. While this is not the highest bar (lol) it was so nice to come home after 3 weeks, and an entire day of travel, to a clean, sweet smelling home with clean sheets on the bed! And a bowl of grapes on the counter to snack on (yes, I mentioned grapes and string cheese in our meet and greet. She listened!) I enjoyed Lois. I enjoyed our chats over and above talking about the kitties. She was clearly comfortable and cared about guardianship of my odd, quirky little house. Coming home I would not have known someone stayed here except that my cats were just as happy, fat, and sassy as they were when I left. I would recommend Lois without reservation. I feel like I have added a person in my life that I know I can count on if I need her, and if I ever need someone to care for my kitties it is really nice to know she is there. The comfort and peace she offered while I was on my magical adventure with my son was priceless. Thank you Lois!”

About: I have always had at least one dog growing up. I started watching dogs (walking during the day or while babysitting) at 10 years old, and house-sitting by 15 (overnight at the dog's house). My childhood dog started receiving daily to twice-daily insulin injections by the time he turned 12, so I am comfortable giving injections. I also have had to give dogs pills orally. My current dog, Wesley, is particularly finnicky about treats, so if he has to take a pill I had to wrap it in wet food and hand feed to him - if your dog is the same way, I am used to "prince"/"princess" dogs :) I have watched my friends' dogs in Denver and it's been great! I am open to having them at my house (preferable for sitting during the week since I have work) or at your place. My job allows me to routinely work from home depending on my schedule and I am located in Littleton (near Chatfield and Ken Caryl areas). When I’m working from home I’ll be able to let the pup out throughout the day, as well as provide love and attention. If I am going into the office, I am usually away no longer than 9 hours. I’ll be sure to walk, play, or do whatever to make up for my time away! I’m pretty laid back with dogs and don’t get really upset if there’s an accident in the house, as I know they can’t help it. However, if there are certain words or commands you use for certain behaviors, please let me know so I can be consistent with your house. The same goes for walking - I usually am firm and keep the dogs on one side and close to me. If you have a certain side you like your dog to be on or words to use while walking, just let me know and I'll incorporate! I will attempt to make your dog's stay as home-like as possible by keeping their schedule, saying certain words/commands, and giving them lots of love and attention! I'm a very flexible and easy going sitter. If I am in town and you need someone last minute, I'm open to that. Have a question? Feel free to reach out and ask! I like to know what the typical schedule is for your pet so I can try and keep things as normal as possible in their routine. About: I have 2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant, and over my life I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats. I currently live with my adorable kitty. I love my cat so much and I would give your dog the same amount of care and love :) I am a college student and have class in the morning. On Wednesday and Fridays my day ends around 3:30 but the other days end between 10-12. Preferred to go into the client's home since I have pets myself. If you have specific requests for your animal, I try to abide by that as best as possible. With dogs, I prefer to always keep them on a leash outside if there is no fenced yard.

About: I have experience with a variety of pets starting from when I was about 6 years old! Ive taken care of more animals than I can count of all shapes and sizes. I can assure you your baby will be safe and sound with me! Im in town for the next month with family, aiming to save up some money! Im avaliable at anytime on the days ive left marked as avaliable. I make sure they're well fed and watered at scheduled times throughout the day if needed. I ensure they receive adequate play and exercise, whether outdoors or inside. I keep reminders and alarms at the ready to ensure everything is done in a timely fashion as well!
