Already have another booking with her for boarding!”

About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience, I’ve cared for animals of all ages, temperaments, and needs—including senior pets, disabled dogs and cats, and countless fosters through my early cat rescue work. From shelter volunteering to integrating pet care into my cleaning business, I’ve built a life around compassion, patience, and understanding. Whether it’s a playful kitten or a gentle senior, I treat every animal like family. I recently relocated from Porter, Indiana to Paris, Kentucky for my husband’s job—and it’s given me the perfect opportunity to follow my passion for pet care. With plenty of time and a heart full of love for animals, I’m excited to offer dedicated, compassionate care to pets in my new community. Offering pet care in a cozy, pet-friendly condo—a two-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with all wood floors and a small non fenced yard. It’s designed with animals in mind, and if your dog or cat is well-socialized with both species, they would be loving welcome.
“Candice was so amazing & kind to watch Brazi for a few hours on such short notice! She sent me pictures right away, which I loved btw, and I knew Brazi was in good hands. Looked like she was definitely enjoying the patio and the yard! Would most definitely recommend Candice!”

“Awesome pet sitter! Went up and beyond for our baby. This was our first time using rover and being separated. Shawna made sure to make it a comfortable experience all around and kept us updated with photos. Also she drove to us to meet locally and was right on time. Couldn't ask for anything better. Our baby came back home happy and healthy. So grateful! I Definitely recommend her.”

About: After experiencing the tragic loss of my own cats due to a negligent pet sitter, I became deeply committed to providing the highest level of care for all animals. That experience taught me how vital it is to entrust pets to someone who not only understands their needs but treats them like family. I specialize in senior pet care, offering compassionate support for aging pets, including administering medications, managing health conditions, and providing gentle, tailored exercise routines. I also have experience training puppies, helping them develop good behaviors early on and ensuring they have the structure they need to thrive. My focus is always on building trust and creating a safe, loving environment for your pets, so they feel comfortable and secure when you're away. Above all, I aim to offer peace of mind to pet owners, knowing their animals are in caring, responsible hands. Available almost anytime in Lexington and surrounding areas contact in advance is recommended but we can take last-minute calls depending on the situation and what not. Also I work with you budget! I have a park near me and I do take my own dog to the dog park every chance I get via Lyft and plenty of toys for your fur babies!

I am happy to work with any training request while your pups is here if you so choose. Why I love dog sitting I love to give people piece of mind that their pups are accepted, well taken care of and thriving in an environment that is good for their dogs. In return, I get to meet new breeds and temperaments of dogs that will value my future career! A total win win situation. I also love an extra excuse to get out and explore new hiking trails! About my yard We have a large yard with the house situated in the middle. It is unfenced but no one goes off leash (long line) until there is a better understanding of the dog and their habits. There is a flowing creek and dam on the property as well as plenty of space to run around. Your dogs will never want to leave! My experience administering medication Yes, I have administered medications orally, and through injections. The mornings are for potty time followed by breakfast if applicable. After food is digested and the human is ready, we will venture out for the day for a walk, hike, or playtime.
