About: Pets have a special place in my heart as I have been around cats and dogs since I was little. Working in the veterinarian industry, I am comfortable working with cats and dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages. I have experience administering medications and understand the importance of following feeding schedules and care to keep your pet healthy. I love being able to take care of your fur babies and make them feel safe and happy. I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pets. “It is honestly hard to put into words how great an experience I had with Lois without sounding hyperbolic. She was a perfect guardian of my home, my kitties, and my anxious heart. I'd never left my kitties for even a night, and I'd never used a sitting service but was offered the chance to visit my son in the Netherlands for 3 weeks and I couldn't pass it up. I just needed to feel at peace with how I left things at home. Lois was wonderful. She came over early for a meet and greet, and it was immediately obvious she is a kind, intelligent, and gentle person. I have two cats from a horrible hoarding situation who have taken years to feel safe, and they both took to her immediately! My stray, who came to me barely weaned, took a while but even he came around (he is scared of the cars going by the house). She took notes! (Something I always wished people I trained at work would do) Lois and I chatted a bit fairly frequently via a chat app, and she always sent what she called "proof of life" pictures, all of which were so dear. (One was of the kitties waking her up one morning. Such a typical thing in my home, and its normalcy was what made it great. That, and someone just waking up having the presence of mind to grab their phone and record this little domestic scene!) In our chats, just by the way she talked about my kitties it was VERY clear she'd quickly picked up on their personalities, quirks, and needs. The very language she used talking about how they were doing made it obvious she was talking about my kitties, and not just generic kitty language. And she left my home cleaner than I left it for her. While this is not the highest bar (lol) it was so nice to come home after 3 weeks, and an entire day of travel, to a clean, sweet smelling home with clean sheets on the bed! And a bowl of grapes on the counter to snack on (yes, I mentioned grapes and string cheese in our meet and greet. She listened!) I enjoyed Lois. I enjoyed our chats over and above talking about the kitties. She was clearly comfortable and cared about guardianship of my odd, quirky little house. Coming home I would not have known someone stayed here except that my cats were just as happy, fat, and sassy as they were when I left. I would recommend Lois without reservation. I feel like I have added a person in my life that I know I can count on if I need her, and if I ever need someone to care for my kitties it is really nice to know she is there. The comfort and peace she offered while I was on my magical adventure with my son was priceless. Thank you Lois!”

About: I have experience with a variety of pets starting from when I was about 6 years old! Ive taken care of more animals than I can count of all shapes and sizes. I can assure you your baby will be safe and sound with me! Im in town for the next month with family, aiming to save up some money! Im avaliable at anytime on the days ive left marked as avaliable. I make sure they're well fed and watered at scheduled times throughout the day if needed. I ensure they receive adequate play and exercise, whether outdoors or inside. I keep reminders and alarms at the ready to ensure everything is done in a timely fashion as well!

“Our dogs are older and have known medical needs, but Jessica was not deterred from taking care of them. Unfortunately our worst fear came true and one of our dogs had a medical crisis while we were out of the country (no one’s fault, just the dog’s health declining). Jessica escalated to us and took our girl to the vet office on two separate days to get her medical care. She work with our vet and learned to give our dog new medications to manage the situation. Aside from rising to the occasion of medical crisis, Jessica sent us tons of photos and updates of all the dogs (which we greatly appreciated). It is difficult enough to find a sitter who is competent in taking care of older dogs with medical issues, but Jessica exceeded all expectations and we can’t thank her enough.”

About: I have taken care of animals big and small for most of my life; goats, chickens, cats, dogs, geese, rabbits, fish, snakes, rats, geckos, tortoises, pigeons, and probably more. I have pet sit for many friends and family members, and now that I have a cat of my own, I know how much trust one must put in someone to watch their pet. I have also cared for animals in a professional setting at Madison Children's Museum (where I cared for chickens, pigeons, crested geckos, turtles, tortoises, and rats) and was trained in their care. I am used to feeding my cat and cleaning her litter box every morning. Along with this, I sweep because she is a menace who launches her litter across the room. I will treat your pet as if they are my own family, talking to them as if they can respond, and giving them all the love I have. I will also follow any special instructions you have for me, and try to keep your pet on their preferred schedule - I want you both to be as comfortable as possible.
