About: I grew up riding horses and having small dogs around the house, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've been dog and cat sitting off and on for the past 8 years, and I've been working in barns and caring for horses for 12. Today, I'm lucky enough to have a dog and cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your pets while you're away. I have a bachelor's degree in Equine Science, with Animal Science as one of my three minors. Through my education and years of hands-on experience, I've developed a strong understanding of animal care, behavior, health, and daily management across a variety of animals. I have experience caring for senior pets, anxious and reactive animals, and animals with additional medical needs. I'm comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions to ensure each pet receives the care they need. “Our dogs are older and have known medical needs, but Jessica was not deterred from taking care of them. Unfortunately our worst fear came true and one of our dogs had a medical crisis while we were out of the country (no one’s fault, just the dog’s health declining). Jessica escalated to us and took our girl to the vet office on two separate days to get her medical care. She work with our vet and learned to give our dog new medications to manage the situation. Aside from rising to the occasion of medical crisis, Jessica sent us tons of photos and updates of all the dogs (which we greatly appreciated). It is difficult enough to find a sitter who is competent in taking care of older dogs with medical issues, but Jessica exceeded all expectations and we can’t thank her enough.”

About: I've grown up with dogs and have taken care of them since I was in high school. I'm currently a graduate student studying Clinical Psychology through the University of Alabama UA. I’ve relocated to Georgetown to complete my doctoral internship. I am available to dog sit or walk/care for your fur baby! I do have a small (16lb.) King Charles Cavalier in my home. About: Very attentive, love dogs of all sizes, shapes and forms! Being outdoors is my favorite and would love to enjoy your pup with some outdoor time or a little adventure. Very gentle and oh so loving. Enjoying cuddles and puppy/dog kisses. Great at belly rubs! Love to walk for days and keep your dog healthy like me! Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
