About: I grew up riding horses and having small dogs around the house, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've been dog and cat sitting off and on for the past 8 years, and I've been working in barns and caring for horses for 12. Today, I'm lucky enough to have a dog and cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your pets while you're away. I have a bachelor's degree in Equine Science, with Animal Science as one of my three minors. Through my education and years of hands-on experience, I've developed a strong understanding of animal care, behavior, health, and daily management across a variety of animals. I have experience caring for senior pets, anxious and reactive animals, and animals with additional medical needs. I'm comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions to ensure each pet receives the care they need. Whether your pet wants to go on a long walk or hike, play their favorite games, or simply curl up on the couch, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I care about getting to know each pet’s personality and routine, so they feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. Their well-being is always my top priority, and I’ll keep you updated along the way so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. About: What sets me apart is that pet care has always been personal for me, not just a job. I grew up caring for cats and dogs, and some of my favorite childhood memories come from that. I've since fostered puppies and kittens through the humane society and pet sat for friends, family, and their friends' cats and dogs over the years. On a recent 10-day stay caring for two cats, that meant watering the plants, bringing in the mail daily, and vacuuming up fur to keep the home as clean as I found it. I've sat in all kinds of spaces (rural, city, apartments, houses), so I can adapt easily to whatever your home looks like, and my goal is always to keep your pet comfortable in the space they already know.

About: Something that sets me apart from other sitters is my versatile background interacting with and caring for a wide range of furry friends — from dogs, to cats, to bunnies, to birds!
