“Sophia was amazing! My shy elderly cat really warmed up to her. There was a slight emergency that happened while I was gone and she did a great job communicating what was happening and keeping me up to date. My flight home was delayed and she was able to take on an extra half day. Sophia really cares about your animals safety and wellbeing and I am so grateful for her! My cat is usually hesistant around new people but she really seemed to have a special touch”

“Olivia is the absolute best, and my two dogs adored her from the first moment they met her (my cats love her, too!). She goes the extra mile when caring for my fur babies, even wiping off their paws when it is rainy or muddy outside. I absolutely love the updates and pictures I receive during her visit, and I always feel reassured they are getting the best care. Thank you, Olivia for loving my fur babies!”

About: I have years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I'm attentive, patient, and passionate about providing pets with love, exercise, and a safe environment. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or cuddles, I treat every pet like family and ensure they feel happy and secure. I work from home everyday and spend most weekends at home so I am available everyday of the week whenever you might need me to help out. I have an apartment that I share with my cat and dog. Both get constant attention all day and my dog gets to go on multiple walks around the neighborhood every day!

About: Hi! I’m Siobhan, and I absolutely love caring for animals, especially cats. I’ve been lucky to be around pets my whole life, and I’m experienced with everything from chaotic kittens to sick/higher needs seniors. I also love dogs and enjoy walking, house sitting, and dropping in on them, though I can only host cats in my home for now. Whether I’m visiting your pet in your home or caring for them at mine, I’m committed to following their routines, providing plenty of attention, and making sure they feel safe and loved. I’m happy to accommodate special instructions, administer medication, or adjust activities for shy, senior, or high-energy pets. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! :))) I work a hybrid schedule Monday through Friday, so I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walks, and house sitting on weekdays outside of those hours that i’m in person, and I’m fully open on weekends. My home is quiet, comfortable, and cat friendly, making it a stress free place for boarding. :) I live in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment that is kept clean and tidy with plenty of space for your pets to feel comfortable and roam around.

“Isabel took great care of my two cats! She sent lots of pictures and communicated thoroughly throughout her time watching them. I appreciated knowing the cats were in good hands while I was gone.”

“Clare was absolutely wonderful with Olive! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loves animals and would treat Olive like her own. She kept me updated with plenty of photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. When I came home Olive was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a fantastic time. Clare was also super accommodating with times for walks. I couldn’t have asked for better — we’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: With a lifetime of experience caring for animals—including multiple cats and a beloved dog growing up—I understand the unique personalities and needs of both feline and canine companions. I currently share my home with a sweet cat, and I treat every pet I care for like family. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, or just some comforting company, I’m here to provide reliable, loving care. I currently work full time (hybrid) as an accountant and am open to discussing a schedule that works best for you and your pet! On typical work from home days and weekends I am flexible with pet care throughout the day, and office days I am available before 7:30 am and after 5:30 pm. I value pets safety and would carefully follow instructions and limitations/resources for each pet within their home. We have an indoor cat and I understand the importance of keeping them safe!

“Anna was wonderful! She sent along so many great photos of my fur child and I feel confident that she was in good hands while I was away. Anna was quick to respond and very kind when we met to go over the details of the weekend. I would definitely trust Anna again.”

About: I'm just a dog-loving girl who misses having a pet of her own and would love to care for yours when you're not able. More than happy to go on long walks or cater to quirky pet needs. I recently lost my 17 year old Jack Russell but I've also pet-sat all breeds for years, too! I have a very flexible schedule right now and am available for short-notice visits, if necessary. I can currently do morning, afternoon, or early evening visits. I care for pets in their homes where they feel most secure. I am big on respecting privacy and therefore I love detailed instructions. The goal is that everyone is comfortable, especially your pet. I cannot take pets in my own home due to lease restrictions, unfortunately.

“Chloe/Kit took care of our senior cat Dexter for two weeks while we were on vacation and he could not have been in better hands! We super appreciated her flexibility especially when we asked her part way through the two weeks whether she could come visit him twice daily and she totally made it work. Dexter’s favorite activity is going for walks outside so we gave her the option, if she felt comfortable, to take him out on a leash. We were so pleased to see that she had no hesitation to taking him outside and she took him for his walks daily, which I’m positive was the highlight of his days. We came home to a healthy and happy cat and we are so grateful! We would absolutely recommend Kit to take care of your fur buddies!”

“Emily did amazing! She took very awesome care of our pup and the love translated through the check-ins and photographs! She was a great drop in sitter with effective communication throughout the 26 drop ins. Would absolutely recommend her for your needs.”

About: I'm a life long pet lover! I grew up with dogs and I've taken care of them at every stage of life. I have experience taking care of elderly and disabled dogs. We had two Tibetan Terriers, who lived until 15 (Tuco) and 17 (Tina). Tina lived long and healthy life until nearly her 18th birthday, with the normal challenges of being a senior towards the end of her life. Tuco struggled with some disabilities/health issues from a young age (two spinal surgeries) but we cared for him and despite his troubles he was a very sweet and happy dog! At the moment, I don't have any pets at my home but my family adopted two more adorable Tibetan Terriers (Abby + Ema), so they are my part-time pets! I work remotely from home, so I have a fairly flexible schedule during the day. I enjoy going for walks in the neighborhood and to the park. I ensure dogs are safe by using secure leashes and avoiding hazards like traffic. I follow each owner’s instructions, customize care for each dog, keep walks calm and positive, and provide updates to keep owners informed.

“Rosie was great! She was super communicative and very helpful with my anxious cat. She did all she could to get her to warm up and feel comfortable while taking such great care of everything. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: I’ve been asked to dog sit and dog walk many times by friends and family, and would love to extend my services to the community. I’m currently working part full time during the week, but my free time is dedicated to playing with and caring for puppies! I have a very flexible schedule to work. Having a grown up with dog of my own, I know how difficult it can be to get your pet to cooperate when you need to leave them behind or take them out. I easily build trust with dogs and love to take them out.

About: Hello Boston! I’m Kasey—a pastry chef, Cambridge local, and lifelong dog lover. My pup Buddy was my best bud growing up, and ever since, I’ve loved caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities (plus a few cats along the way!) Spending time with dogs brings me so much joy, and I promise to give your pet the same love and attention I’d give my own. My schedule is flexible, and I can’t wait to meet your four-legged friend! I am a huge morning person! I’m available for early morning visits/walks or anytime after 6pm on weekdays. I have full weekend availability! Morning or night, I’m your girl! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for your furry friend in your home or welcoming them into mine, I create a calm, clean, and cozy environment where they feel safe and loved. I follow any specific routines or instructions you provide—whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, or favorite toys—to help your pet feel at ease. I always keep a close eye on their behavior and well-being, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in great hands. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and treat it with the same care I would my own.

Natalie M.
“From the moment she got her first dog, Tina, when she was 11 years old, Natalie was smitten, but unlike most kids who love their dogs, but don’t take on the responsibilities that go along with it, she did. Not just taking care of her, but taking care of her grooming, brushing her coat, trimming her nails, even making her own treats for Tina. She loved that dog and she took care of all her needs. But that’s just who she is. She does that with everything in her life. She takes full responsibility: She does the research, planning and execution. Even now when she comes to visit our dog, Abby, she will say Abby needs this or Abby needs that and always takes Abby for her walks. I know that when we go away and I have Natalie to take care of the dogs, I don’t have to worry. She loves them. She talks to them. She cares for them. Any dog who is lucky enough to have Natalie, will be cared for 100%. She takes her responsibilities very seriously.”

Cambridge dog parents share their Rover experiences
Nicole is great with our pup Koji! She’s very experienced with big dogs which is what we needed as Koji is an English lab and has mobility issues. She was able to follow our directions to help him walk and move around, give him medications and was very communicative with updates & pictures time to time. She’s very gentle and caring and Koji loves spending time with her. Will definitely rebook!
