Pet Sitting in Powell River

About: We have had pets our entire life. Now retired and travel a few months a year, so currently without a pet because of our travels. Missing the love of our own pets (Scruffy lived to 17 and Cedes lived to 16). So we have decided that the love of your pets, would be lovely and would benefit all involved. We live 2 blocks from the beach, which gives the dogs a great run and or swim permitting of course :) My wife and I are both retired and walk to the beach everyday, would be nice to have a dog to walk with us. For the evenings it would be nice to cuddle up to a dog or cat. We live on the bottom floor of a pet friendly building, with access to a yard. We do have a wrap around deck with a 2 foot brick wall/planter that is gated to large partially fenced yard. Pics attached. We both have knowledge of caring for both dogs and cats.

About: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. Most recently I trained a dog to mush. She is now living with my mother as a service dog for her social anxiety. My friends often lean on me to house and pet sit. I have a lot of experience with dogs who don't play well with other dogs or have some other kind of triggers. About: From New Zealand with a degree in Agriculture and Animal Science. I've grown up with and been around pets, working animals, livestock and rescues my whole life. I've looked after single animal households to farms and ranches. Just moved to Van Isle and this is my first time in years living without an animal in the house and so I'd love to help out others and get some animal loving for myself. I currently am working 4on/4off in Campbell River. During my working days I'm available for evenings/overnights/mornings in Campbell River. On my days off I'd love to explore the island so happy to travel and will have all day/night to spend with your animals I will always follow the instructions from the client and make sure I know emergency contact info including their vet and the nearest after hours vet in the unlikely event that something happens.

About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, my cat growing up was my whole world. My aunts dog became mine for 3 months every summer, the neighbours litters of kittens were in good hands with me for the day while they worked. Currently I have 1 husky and a cat , Kaza who is 4 years old, bobcat who is 8. I’m currently on maternity leave. I walk everyday with Kaza and the baby. We just lost our elderly pup Sage so I figured dog walking would be great for Kaza to be able to socialize. I’m looking for excuses to get out of the house with the baby these days, so a drop in cat sitting would fit the bill. Currently only offering drop in visits. I will stop in once or twice daily depending on clients request. Food, water, and litter will be meticulously maintained. We will work to keep any routines that make your pet comfortable in place
