About: From New Zealand with a degree in Agriculture and Animal Science. I've grown up with and been around pets, working animals, livestock and rescues my whole life. I've looked after single animal households to farms and ranches. Just moved to Van Isle and this is my first time in years living without an animal in the house and so I'd love to help out others and get some animal loving for myself. I currently am working 4on/4off in Campbell River. During my working days I'm available for evenings/overnights/mornings in Campbell River. On my days off I'd love to explore the island so happy to travel and will have all day/night to spend with your animals I will always follow the instructions from the client and make sure I know emergency contact info including their vet and the nearest after hours vet in the unlikely event that something happens.

“I’ve never seen my senior dog so calm and happy and I can tell he was absolutely doted on. I can honestly tell he already misses Colleen and Rob. They took expert care of my pug, from administering his meds, to taking him on walks and adventures. Not only that but they left my home sparkling clean and even fixed a few things! They also were very understanding as the home is for sale and there were house showings while they were here which they handled brilliantly. Not only that but While I was away I ended up getting Covid and having to extend my stay and they were so understanding and communicative and I knew my pug was in safe hands. Been responsible for taking care of them, as well as caring for my family's & friend's animals whenever they need a petsitter. I'm available most days before 12pm, all day on weekends. About: Hi! I’ve housesit often for friends and acquaintances. I have experience with many sizes and temperaments of dogs and I love cats. I’ll be attentive to your home, plants and pets. I love being outside and will happily take your dog(s) for trail walks. I work for myself part time. Depending on the day of the week, I’ll either be totally off work or only away for up to 5hrs at a time. I’ll follow your guidance for your pet’s routine and needs and my own good judgement ti handle anything unexpected that comes up while you’re away. I live in my bus which I will need to park in your driveway while I’m housesitting. It is 20ft long and self-contained. I can either sleep in it or in your house, whatever you or your pets prefer.

“Bailey looked after my two pugs for the weekend. It was our first time meeting him. Bailey was incredibly patient, kind and empathetic especially with one of my pugs who is a rescue, was badly abused in the past and is afraid of and mistrusting of people other than her family. She barks a lot at anyone who comes in the house and is not reliably housetrained. She’s pretty high maintenance and has very high anxiety and trust issues. My other pug is sweet and well adjusted but very bossy and demanding and emotional. Bailey managed to make more progress with my anxious pug than most people make in months, and kept me updated on how they were doing. I knew they were in the most caring, competent hands and didn’t worry about them at all when I was away. I hope he’s willing to come back again because we would love to have him take care of the puglets again!”
