“Aparna did an awesome job taking care of Lux while I was on vacation! She's very good with animals and Lux loved being with her. Kind, attentative and accommodating the need for her not to have other dogs around. Highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve trained a reactive rescue belgian malinois puppy who is now my greatest friends and also taken care of an old diabetic lab untill her final days I work part time starting in april I’ve just moved to town and am looking for something to do! Id love to help your pets out I know lots of low traffic trails and also a dog who loves to play depending on what your dog enjoys. Your dog could go on a nice calm walk or play for hours!
About: My name is Jordan, and I've always loved dogs and cats! I grew up on a farm, and we always had pets running around. I've been on Rover for about five years now, so I have a fair amount of experience looking after your little fur children! I've looked after dogs with all sorts of different sizes and temperaments, and most of them adore me as much as I do them, and are excited to come back! When it comes to pet care, I'm pleased to provide both flexible and high quality service. As long as it's reasonably feasible, I'm good at adapting to schedules and any quirky or specific needs of your pet. I'm largely only available on weekends as I do work an office job during the week, but if you required services in the evenings I could potentially make that work. We have a dog and two cats of our own in our home. They're accustomed to furry visitors (in their own ways) and could potentially help with socialization of puppies and young dogs. On the weekends we like to go on beach and forest adventures with our dog, so having an extra friend along would be welcome and well-suited to our routine! Your pet will be well exercised and looked after. Your pet will live like it’s one of my own. It will always have access to water, and I be sure to let them out for bathroom breaks regularly or before I leave the house. I will always take your dog out for exercise MINIMUM once a day, preferably somewhere off-leash when suitable or appropriate. I also will give the pets a good amount of attention and babble at them like a borderline insane person.
About: After 14 years of caring for my yellow lab Jack, I fell in love with dogs. Due to Jack crossing the rainbow bridge recently; I'm looking to get my "dog fix" while helping other members of the community! About me...I'm a fairly active person, I love to go on runs and challenging hikes. However, I easily adapt for the dog's needs. I'm hoping you value your pet's safety, wellbeing and happiness as much as I do, because your dog deserves it all. Looking forward to hear from you soon! Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine as I work from home full-time in Campbell River, allowing me to be flexible and available throughout the day. While I have an additional job on some weekday evenings, I can easily work around it to meet your pet’s needs. With enough notice, I’ll do my best to accommodate any schedule or special requests! In my home, it’s a relaxed environment with an indoor cat who mostly keeps to herself, ensuring visiting pets have a peaceful stay. When caring for pets at your home, I always prioritize their comfort and well-being, and I make sure to leave your space clean and tidy. My goal is to make sure pets feel at home, whether they’re with me or in their own familiar surroundings.
“Ocean is an amazing dog sitter. You can tell from the moment you meet her that she is a dog person. She took wonderful care of our reactive herding dog, making an extra effort to get to know her beforehand. She sent us tons of updates and photos and we felt very comfortable leaving our crazy dog in her hands.”

About: Hi everyone! I am a full-time high school teacher who LOVES dogs! I love taking them out for walks, snuggles on the couch, and his general hanging out! Because of my career, I am only available on the weekends (dog sitting / house sitting) and available for walks/drop-ins most evenings. I love all dogs of all shapes and sizes! When I dog sit, I will usually keep my schedule clear so that I am with your dog 24/7. (My gym workouts are replaced with many walks, so I love walks!). Another thing I love is hanging out on the couch with a dog, watching tv, playing with their chewtoy (tug a war!) and just being around each other! I am very excited to meet you and your pooch!
“Rebecca is a very kind hearted person. She is very respectful of our home. We know she's caring because the dogs love to see her when she comes for a sit. Rebecca is an informative and prompt communicator. I would highly recommend Rebecca.”

About: Hi, I’m Kenya :) Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for my grandparents chickens and sheep. I also raised a loving & energetic Wheaton Terrier, who lived to a happy old age, I am comfortable providing the care senior dogs need. I adopted and raised rescued small animals.. guinea pigs and rats have my heart. I am very familiar with the handling, cage cleaning, and environment enrichment needed in their lives for them to thrive! These days I share my home with a sweet cat, which means I’m very tuned in to the little quirks and routines that make cats feel secure and loved. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a senior dog needing a gentle walk, a cuddly cat, or small critters, I treat them all with the same love and care I’d want for my own. I run my own business and mostly work from home, with 1-2 days a week spent in a local business. This gives me a lot of flexibility to build pet care into my day, whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or having extra company while I’m home. Comfort and safety come first. I stick closely to routines so animals feel secure. I’m meticulous when it comes to details like feeding, medications, and exercise. I respect your space and follow instructions carefully so both you and your pets can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Debbie took care of my pets for 8 days while I was travelling. I had been using the same sitter for 4 years previously and I was a little uncertain about having a new person here. One of my dogs passed away recently, and the remaining one, Scarlett, has been needy so I wanted to make sure she had an understanding sitter. Debbie has great references. We also had a FaceTime chat and exchanged lots of information before the actual date. Debbie totally understood Scarlett's needs, and they got along great! I received pictures, and updates so I never worried for a second. My other pet, a tortoise, is wandering around the house right now, happy as a clam. I will definitely be calling Debbie again and can't recommend her highly enough.”
“Colleen is an amazing dog sitter who looked after our pup, Clover, so well. We hope she will come back and look after her again. An added bonus was coming home to a house that has never been so clean! Thank you so much. It was great to go away and not worry about Clover at all, and we loved the photo updates!”

About: Hi! I’m Eva - a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for pups of all personalities, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. I spent time volunteering in a large dog shelter in Morocco, helping care for over 500 dogs. That experience taught me how to read canine body language, manage group walks safely, and give every dog individual attention and care. Over the last three years, I’ve also cared for a spirited Vizsla puppy during regular pet-sitting stays, and I was the proud owner of my own dog for 14 wonderful years — so I know what it means to love and look after a pet like family. Whether your dog needs a calm and steady walker, a safe and comfortable boarding experience, or a caring sitter while you’re away, I provide reliable, professional care with plenty of affection and clear communication. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first — and of course, there will be walks, playtime, and updates along the way! 🐕💛 Caring for animals is something I build my days around. I have lots of flexibility in my schedule, so I can easily plan my time around each pet’s needs — from long walks and feeding times to relaxed hangouts at home. I love being outdoors and active, so spending my days with dogs fits perfectly into my lifestyle. When I’m house sitting, I make sure pets feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. I follow their normal routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest, keeping things calm and familiar. I’m very tidy and respectful of each home I stay in, treating it with the same care I’d give my own space. My goal is for your pets to feel happy and relaxed — and for you to return to a clean home and a content companion.

I’m experienced with both cats and dogs and always take the time to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and happy. I know how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your animals — I’ll treat them like my own! Let me know what your pet needs and I’ll tailor my care to match. I’d love to meet your furry family member soon! I teach full time with a very flexible schedule, so pet care fits in easily throughout the day. About: I have owned dogs most of my life and have been a casual pet sitter since I was 12 years old. I have personal experience training young puppies and caring for old dogs with special care requirements. In my spare time, I am often active outdoors and am always happy to be accompanied by a furry friend! I am currently working as ski patrol on Mt Washington. Due to the nature of my work, I am widely available during fall and spring seasons and otherwise available during my days off and evenings throughout the peak of winter. I am currently offering caregiving services in the clients home, drop-in visits, or dog walks. I can be flexible to have dogs in my home if they are the right fit, I do live with roommates and like to run this by them prior to doing so and there is a cat that lives in the lower suite of my house, she typically doesn’t enter my suite so I can ensure there is a degree of separation for the animals. I will ensure your pet is well looked after and stays happy and healthy until your return!
About: I have been taking care of pets my whole life, we always had pets around, from dogs to birds, lizards, mice, gerbils, hamsters, snakes, fish. I have been responsible for the love and care of many animals, my own, friends and families. Including feeding, bathing, playing with, walking etc. I am currently in school on week days leaving me available to watch your poochies or kitties on the weekend while you have a get away. I will walk them and take good care of them between studying- honestly giving me a much needed break! I am available on Tuesdays and the weekends for dog walking, doggy day care and house sitting but each client is different and I am happy to discuss what is needed for you and your pets. I am open to doggy day care in your home as well as mine- as long as your dog is friendly with cats. Please contact me and I am open to discussing the fees as I do my charging differently than the app does and I am open to discussion about what works best for you financially. I want all pet owners to feel secure in their sitter and pricing for services. I have one dog Yara, and two cats Captain and Phoebe. We live on a property with lots of space to roam around on leash (a fenced yard is a plan) with walks to trails and beaches everyday. I walk or run yara everyday with swims, fetch, and many adventures. At your home we can play, go for runs or forest/beach walks, or if they're older and a bit lazy that's okay we will hang out and enjoy each other's company. I can bathe them and tend to hygiene as needed, feed them, give them any needed medication and anything else they may need.
About: I started taking care of dogs when I was 12, helping with walks and training for my own dog in Italy, where I’m from. Being around dogs has always been a part of my life. Over the years, I also dog sat for friends and family, caring for different breeds and keeping up with their usual routines. After moving to Canada, I felt like something was missing and that’s when I decided to get my own dog here. That experience taught me even more about responsibility and the joy of having a dog in your life. I’m comfortable with daily walks, basic training, feeding schedules, and making sure each dog feels relaxed and well cared for. I’m responsible, easygoing, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I have a very flexible work schedule and am available for walks every day from 4 to 8 PM, as well as early morning and lunchtime walks. I also have more time on weekends, making it easy to fit in longer walks or extra playtime. I’m very respectful of each owner’s training style and home rules. At my place, I have a 2-year-old, 15-pound Havapoo who loves to play and will happily keep your pup company.
“Richelle was amazing! She took such great care of my fur babies - they were clearly happy, comfy, and well loved. Total peace of mind while I was away! She was kind, friendly, easy to communicate with, and took great care of my home! I'd book her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her!”
