I've decided to join Rover in hopes of connecting with you, my community. Based in Port Moody, BC, I am looking to get to know my neighbours and offer my pet-care services at a reasonable rate. I've had the pleasure of being a cat owner myself for 13 years, as well as pet-sitting for my friends, family, and neighbours over the course of that time as well. Ever since I can remember, I have been extremely passionate about animals, specifically dogs and cats alike, volunteering at the SPCA after school hours, and advocating for international rescue campaigns internationally, fundraising for animal rescue in Ukraine and the Greek Islands. Becoming a pet sitter through Rover is more than just a job opportunity for me. I have been in need of a meaningful way to stay connected to what brings me joy. Connecting with my neighbours, getting more involved in my community, and on top of everything, caring for animals with patience, love, and respect, as if they are my own. I am currently working part-time in Burnaby and offer full-day availability to provide a flexible and convenient schedule for you! On the days I am at work, I am typically available during early mornings or late evenings, with my schedule adjusting slightly week to week. I update my availability every few days to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible, ensuring I can meet your pet care needs reliably and with minimal stress on you and your furry friend! I kindly request that you and your pet meet me in person prior to booking, to ensure ultimate comfort for all parties involved. I pride myself on being highly communicative and love keeping pet owners updated throughout my time with your loved one. You can expect regular updates and plenty of photos during visits or stays. My beautiful yard offers plenty of supervised space for your pet to explore and play, especially if overnight stays are needed. During these stays, your pet will be welcomed into my studio basement suite— a bright, cozy space with ample supervision and opportunities for both play and relaxation!

About: I got my Shih Tzu, Layla, when I was about four years old, and I had her until I was 18 before she passed away. Growing up with her, taking care of her, and playing with her made me feel whole. Even on my hardest days, she could instantly lift my spirits. Now, as a brand-new master’s graduate and therapist, I know just how important those little moments of joy and connection really are. Having the chance to care for and spend time with dogs doesn’t feel like work to me at all, it’s something that would genuinely make my days brighter and fuller. Honestly, it would be as much of a gift to me as it is to the pup! On top of that, walking and playing with dogs helps me stay active and supports the healthy lifestyle I try to keep. I’d love to bring both care and enthusiasm to your dog, while also getting to enjoy more doggy love in my own life. I’m really looking forward to more wagging tails and happy experiences 😊🐾 I recently completed my Master’s in Clinical Counselling and am now working as a therapist. Since I can’t have a dog of my own right now with my work lifestyle, spending time with cute animals through dog care is such a perfect way for me to fill that space in my life and add joy to my routine! By simply being present and available for your little pet! I don’t think there is much more to safety and trust in your environment than that!

About: I have grown up with dogs of all breeds and sizes and have over 30 years' experience walking and caring for dogs. I have worked in a veterinary clinic and love being surrounded by animals. I have a 6-year-old Golden Retriever that is very docile and gentle and will be joining on the walks. Your furry friend will be taken care of like my own. Whether it's a leisurely stroll or a rigorous forest hike, the choice is yours. Regarding dog walking services I work from home and am available Monday- Friday from 3pm on. Some days I am available at noon (schedule dependent- please message the day prior to inquire). I am available all day Saturday and Sundays. I do have a dog that will join on the walks. I will treat them as my own! Walks will be stimulating and rigorous or light depending on the dog's needs. I seek feedback from dog owners as to what works for their furry friend.

About: I have owned dogs since I was 14 and love to walk them I am very comfortable with excitable dogs. I have a Pitbull and a German Shepherd. I feel confident in safely walking larger dogs. Dogs safety is extremely important to me. I am a part time student at Douglas College to be a Veterinary Technician. I am in school on Tuesdays and will be doing a practicum 1-2 days a week. I am available 2-3 days a week to walk dogs. I will confirm what days I am available in September. My dogs get walked every day. It helps keep them healthy and me healthy. I will treat your animals in the same way I treat mine. Like family.

About: I am a proud owner of my very friendly, 8 year old Labrador retriever. I have a lot of experience working at dog day care & with a dog walker, taking care of friends & relatives pets. I also have the ability to teach your pets basic training if this is something you would like for me to do on our walkies I currently work part time, evenings & weekends. I will be keeping my mornings & afternoons free for pup walks/adventures and drop in visits to your home My pup has full access to my very secure apartment, when taking your pup on a walk or potty break they will be on a leash going to a local spot just behind our building.

About: 20 years of pet experience! Over the years my family has had numerous beloved pets, with 6 cats, 4 dogs, a hamster, 2 rabbits, aquarium/pond fish, isopods, and a pony! Your pets are definitely in good hands with me. :) I have walked dogs for a few regular clients at a local home-based doggie daycare, and supervised up to 12 small dogs when the business owner is away. Here on Rover I'm doing walkies for small and medium sized dogs in the Port Moody area, even those lil' guys with feistier temperaments! Senior dogs and puppies are also welcome! Solo walks or walks with my own dogs if yours likes having buddies to go with. I am also available for housesitting and home visits if for any reason you have to leave your pets at home! I am self-employed, so I have lots of time and scheduling flexibility available for petsitting, housesitting, and dog walking. I can do morning, afternoon, or evening appointments, or even care for pets for extended periods of time if necessary. Your pet's safety is my highest priority - I put all my attention on your pet when they are with me and follow all instructions provided by owners about their pet's care needs.
