“Alex has been a really good, really reliable dog sitter. Very easy to contact, very personable, and I definitely trust her with my dogs. She was always on time, responsible with keeping an eye on the dogs, locking up my house and their crate afterwards, and giving a ton of love to my dogs. Would definitely recommend, and I’ll be continuing to receive services from her for a long while coming. Thanks Alex!”

“Wing was so nice to work with from the very beginning to the end! I am so glad I had her help. She came to visit the cats to get to know them and their environment and answer my questions about the care process before the care period started. Each day she came on time and interacted with my cats and went through all the necessary steps of care. My cats felt comfortable and relaxed with her. She also kept me informed on the cats and took pictures and videos everyday to send me, which gave me peace of mind. I was concerned about my cats sneaking out the door and communicated it with her before the booking. She was experienced and made sure that did not happen. I came back to healthy happy cats. That’s all that matters. I would definitely hire her again and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for attentive care for their pets!”

“Lyndsay was great with my 2 cats. I was gone for 7 days and They were well taken care of. When we met she was super friendly and both my cats and I clicked with her right away. Both Lyndsay at the site were very helpful. Would definitely use this tool again in the future!”

“We met Claudia and Ken the other day during our initial meet and greet and Sammy our dog obviously felt comfortable with them. Claudia took him for a walk today and he had a great time. We just adopted Sammy a few weeks ago, so we are still getting to know him and how he reacts to other people and other dogs. He trotted off with Claudia without a backward glance at me today, so that reassures me that he is happy to be with her. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I am a university student looking to further my experience working with animals. My availability is very flexible throughout the week. I grew up around plenty of animals including dogs, cats, reptiles and chinchillas! I walk my dogs three times a day and love to let them run around in the fields! I love animals and have done multiple dog walking/pet sitting jobs in the past two years. I believe dogs should be getting multiple walks everyday that vary from 15-30minutes depending on the health of the animal, it is also beneficial for us to get this daily exercise. If you think I’m a fit for your family I will be sure to give your furry loved ones the care, love and attention they deserve! As a teacher with a flexible schedule, I love using my free time to care for animals. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine — I start and end my days walking my own dogs, and I’m often outside or active, which makes it easy to schedule walks, drop-ins, or visits around my work commitments. During school breaks, evenings, and weekends, I have even more availability and love filling that time with caring for pets. Whether it’s stopping in for snuggles, going for a walk, or making sure your pets are fed and comfortable, I treat it as part of my daily rhythm — not a chore. Being around animals is something that brings me joy, so pet care never feels like “extra work” — it’s something I look forward to. I care for pets the same way I care for my own — with love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. Every animal has their own personality and routine, and I always take the time to get to know them so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. For dogs, I make sure they get enough daily exercise based on their age, energy level, and health — whether that’s a brisk walk, a gentle stroll, or a game of fetch in the yard. I keep their feeding schedule consistent, provide fresh water, and always make time for play and affection. I also stick to any training routines or rules the owner has in place to ensure consistency. For cats, I know how important it is to respect their space and preferences. Some cats want to cuddle and play; others prefer quiet companionship. I keep litter boxes clean, follow feeding instructions carefully, and provide enrichment through toys, brushing, or just a sunny spot to relax in. Above all, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and cared for — and I keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so they have peace of mind while they’re away.

About: I was lucky enough to have the best doodle in the world for 11 years. Losing Maggie was so hard, I'm not ready for my own dog again yet, but I would LOVE to give yours an awesome holiday. Young dogs are super fun, but also I have a real spot spot for the senior's and experience adjusting situations for them. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I walk every day and the extra walks will be very welcome addition to my daily routine. Your dog will have the run of the place with couch cuddles and the comfort of sleeping with me if they like. I have two cats, they are 4 years old and like dogs but mostly just leave them alone to do their own thing. There is a large grassy area outside of my building and many parks nearby plus the beach!

About: I have loads of experience working with animals, especially dogs. I volunteered as a dog walker with the humane society, working with different breeds as well as temperaments. I have also volunteered with multiple animal sanctuaries and farms as a farm hand, so I am not afraid to get dirty and active! Furthermore, I have years of experience working in the doggy daycare world. My exposure has made me extremely comfortable working and handling dogs, as my knowledge of dog behaviour is extensive. I am trained to work with a variety of breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have also done a lot of work with reactive dogs either with leash, dog, people, or car reactivity - I have seen it all! Lastly, I have been a pet care owner my entire life and specifically a dog owner for more than 15 years. I understand the need for a loyal, professional, and experienced worker for your dog! I'm currently working part-time and therefore, will have a lot of opportunities to fit into your schedule! I am a reliable worker and will always make an effort to put you and your doggy needs first. I am a very firm believer in positive reinforcement and building trust with your pet. I will always advocate for your dog and make sure their needs are being met either by giving them extra love, play time, or even space!

Natasha S.Star Sitter
“Natasha is our saviour! We moved to this area recently with our 120lb Great Dane mix and didn't know anyone who could take him overnight. Natasha has experience with extra large dogs and was willing to stay at our house where he's more comfortable. She took him for numerous walks, played with him, slept with him and I'm pretty sure he loves her more than he loves us now! She even helped us with a remedy for thinning spots in his fur. She was in contact with us each day sending updates, pictures and videos. We highly recommend her. She has such a kind, dog loving heart.”

Kashika B.

“Kashika was really helpful and she made sure my dog was taken care of while I was gone”

Leidy Angelica G.
“great caretaker! very friendly and loving to our 2 dogs, she made sure to keep the place very tidy as well... 10/10 would recommend to anyone”

Erica F.
“My daughter Erica from a very young age has had a deep love and connection with animals of all kinds. Whether it was playing with insects, walking our dogs, playing with cats or caring for small animals like Guinea pigs or reptiles. She approaches every animal with kindness, patience and affection. She takes time to get to know every new animal that crosses her path and makes sure they feel safe, loved and well cared for.”

Amanda F.

“Amanda dropped in on my cat Moo while I was away. She’s super friendly, kind, and professional, and you can tell she really cares about what she does. I will definitely be booking her again!!”

Cassandra H.

“Cassandra is the BEST for our sweet George. 😻 She comforts us by sending us gorgeous photos of George living the "good life" during her visits!”

Miranda S.
“I’m a senior & I’ve known Miranda for several years.i don’t have a dog but I do have cats. Over the years she has cat sat for me when I have been away. She has always been a kind & gentle soul with my furbabies. I have seen Miranda’s interactions with dogs & again she is the kindest & gentlest person I know with animals. Miranda has had dogs in her household for as long as I remember and has looked after them, from feeding, walking & taking them to the Veterinarian when they needed to go. I believe that Miranda would be a huge asset to Rover & that any dog she meets would have the best carer any dog could ask for. The pet owners would be assured that Miranda would care for their pet as the pet were her own.”

gina l.
“Gina will be a very dedicated volunteer. She has a deep seeded love for animals. She would love to rescue all animals! Please consider her for this role..”

Hannah A.
“Hannah loves animals, and especially dogs, more than anyone I know, and animals seem to love her as much as she loves them. I've seen very shy cats and dogs open up to her quickly, and any time I'm out for a walk with her, she seems to make a new doggy friend. She is a responsible pet owner for her own dogs and worked at a doggy daycare for nearly two years. She understands and recognizes subtle animal behavior and can respond accordingly. I know that any pet would be very safe and loved in her capable hands!”

Gerard M.
“Gerard always takes such wonderful care of our 75 lbs black lab mix, Nova. When she sees "uncle Gerry" pull up in front of our house her tail starts wagging and her teeth start chattering with excitement. Gerard knows that Nova can be a bit reactive on walks, so he's always careful to keep her on a short leash when other animals or loud cars approach. Gerard has no problem following special instructions regarding eating schedule/diet when Nova boards with him. He also takes excellent care of our home when he house sits Nova for us.”
