About: I have grown up around dogs and have cared for them for as long as I can remember. Friends, family, and neighbors often rely on me to look after their dogs. Whether it is walking them, letting them out, playing with them, feeding them or just spending time with them I have done it all. I love animals and love spending time with them. I like going on runs, hikes, and walks so I am open to taking your dog on all adventures, or letting them out during the day! I am currently a student so when I don't have class I can spend time with your dog. I have a flexible schedule so I will be able to care for your dog. I also have a car so driving to see the dog is not an issue! I also try to get outside at least once a day so I would be happy to have your dog accompany me on walks, runs and hikes! I am used to caring for dogs in different settings. I can easily crate your dog in your home if that is what they require, or I am happy with them having access to all areas. I have used a lot of different leashes before so I am comfortable with using what your dog is used to.

“Lori is fantastic with dogs. She establishes firm but loving contact which is exactly what is required. As a result, our boy is ecstatic to see her and behaves beautifully when with her. She is also an excellent communicator, professional and personable. Very happy to have found Lori and to have her looking after our boy.”

About: I miss my dog! let me care for yours :) I'm a university student away from my family dog, Leo, a 12-year-old Havanese and my best friend. Being a senior pup, Leo has taught me the importance of slow, gentle walks and extra patience. I love taking him on strolls, short hikes, and trips to the dog park. I also have experience caring for family and friends’ dogs, from playful puppies to older dogs who just want cuddles. I'm a horse girl too—so caring for animals is second nature. I’d love the chance to spend time with your furry friend and give them the same love I give Leo! I am currently in university summer courses. I would love to fit in walks and visits into my study schedule. I love spending my free time outside exploring the parks and beachs that Kelowna has to offer. I understand the importance of ensuring all gates are closed before allowing your furry friends to roam outside in your backyard! Your dog will remain on leash at all times when on a walk to ensure their safety :)

“Met Patricia for the first time yesterday. Rosco instantly was drawn to her so I felt very comfortable with her. She was very friendly, came in time and Rosco was popped when he got back home which was good. I’ll definitely be booking her again in the future.”

About: I have had cats all my life and family and friends have relied on my to take care of their animals. I have 2 cats of my own and have experience with administering medications. I'm currently working full time but your pet care can fit it into my evenings and weekends and could come on my lunch break if required. I will treat your pet and home like my own, and have the utmost respect for them and your space. I will accommodate any personal requests on how you want your pet cared for.

About: We are an animal loving family!! My wife Chantelle and myself love all animals and particularly doggos! We had a gorgoeus dog of our own who has now passed, and we just love dog sitting. We have twin teenagers who love animals too and are happy to play with the dogs in our care I’m a graphic designer working from home during the week and enjoy the companionship of having dogs around to give me a great excuse to get outside and walk around. We can’t do meet and greets unfortunately but spend a lot of time with the pups when they arrive to create a good bond I work for myself and it is very flexible so I can walk the dogs whenever they need it but generally I go out for a walk after my kids leave for school and then we go again around 6. Over the weekends we like to go for a longer walk sat and sun morning We love getting to know each new dog and learning their character. Each pet is so unique and we love meeting new friends as well as repeat visits from previous rover guests!

About: I have many repeat clients who are happy to provide references. I have been looking after my client's pets for more than 10 years. I have more free time lately and look forward to meeting with you and your pet. I am retired and have free time to give your pet the quality loving care they need. I'm expanding my services and will drop in to care for and walk your small to medium sized dog. Some of the cats I care for have had medical issues and I was able to provide their meds as and when required. Looking forward to meeting with you soon. I usually stay at my client's home. I pick up their mail, water their plants and make sure their pets and their homes are safe while they are away. I have expanded my services and now am able to drop in to visit, care for and walk your dog or care for your cat several times a day. I will stop by your home as required to ensure your pet is getting the attention they crave. While I’m checking on your pets I’d be happy to pick up your mail and water plants if needed.

About: My experience with pets is life long! I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals, worked on a horse farm and dog sat all throughout my teen years. I work in downtown Kelowna and my schedule varies each week, but I generally have 3-4 days during the week that I am free during the day to do a drop in visit or walk. I do not offer pet care in my own home as I don't have the right outdoor space for it. I take great care to ensure your dog is safe, secure and happy during all walks and drop in visits!

About: Hello! My name is Brooklyn. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I have grew up and cared for 5 dogs. I have dog sat for many family/friends because of the care they have seen I can provide them with. Animals are my passion in life. I have had my dog since he was 10 weeks old, and I’ve trained him to be obedient, learn tricks, and be well behaved around children as well as other animals. I treat my dog (Joey) as if he is my child and I intend to do the same with your animal-with love patience, and kindness. I offer dependable and compassionate services tailored to your dog’s unique needs. From energetic walks and playtime to quiet companionship, I ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for in your absence. We live in a beautiful part of town where we go for tons of walks each day. We have lots of grass around our building for potty breaks. I normally take Joey for potty breaks every 2-3 hours. We have lots of fields around our building where I take Joey to run around. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member-let’s chat! I currently work part-time for the summer, with 1–2 shifts per week, typically lasting around five hours. When I’m away, my boyfriend is always home, as he works remotely, ensuring that your pup is never alone and always cared for. I live in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood where dogs are truly part of the community! Joey has plenty of neighborhood friends he sees regularly, making every walk a fun and social experience. I take him on leashed walks daily, along with frequent potty breaks, ensuring plenty of outdoor time. We also visit nearby fields where Joey can run and play freely. Joey is incredibly loving and friendly, providing great companionship for your pup. He feels most comfortable in his crate if we leave, but if your dog prefers to roam, I’m happy to accommodate their needs to ensure they feel at home!

About: I grew up around dogs most of my life in a farm setting. I have grown to love their energy and cuddles. I think walking dogs would be fun, fulfilling and help us get outside. I work as a nurse and do not have the ability to have a pet right now. I work part-time and do 12 hour shifts primarily. My days off vary each week, but I should have plenty of time to walk some pups. Even before my night shifts, I would be available anytime before 4pm. I can take dogs on trail walks, hikes, or walks around neighborhoods. I am open to going to off-leash dog parks if that’s a preference and a setting your dog does well in.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I had my own dog for over 10 years, and he unfortunately passed away last summer, so I’m looking to share some love with some pets who could use a little extra. I work full time, but I have flexibility in my schedule, and am always happy to swing by before or after work to visit/walk/feed, and I’m always happy to stay at your place and give that comfortable safe home space energy to your pets. Pets always get lots of love and snuggles if they like, or space if that’s what they’d prefer. Our pets are our family, and the deserve to be treated with the same love and care.

About: Hello, my name is Richard “Brock”. I am certified in first aid & pet CPR. I’m a registered evaluator for the AKC and have evaluated dozens of dogs for their CGC tests (Canine good citizen). I’m also a regular at dog training/behavior workshops and conferences (most notably the IACP). Please feel free to contact me with any inquiries or questions, thank you! I volunteered at my first shelter when I was 9 walking dogs. In the past 20 years I’ve worked as a dog trainer and continued my volunteer work across the US and Canada. I’ve also spent time training therapy dogs, service dogs, as well as training future K9 police dogs in detection and bite work. I spent time in California training dogs in rattlesnake avoidance. In my pictures you can see some of the dogs I’ve worked with and some of the group classes I’ve lead. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve had many of my own pets of all shapes and sizes along the way. I recognize how important it is for our pets to have continued love and attention when we have to leave them at home. If you choose for me to work with your pet I can assure you they will have their needs met and will get plenty of love and attention along the way. If you have any questions about my background or additional services feel free to ask! I am in school so I will spend the majority of my time working on projects while hanging out with the animals I care for! There are three dogs and multiple birds in my house. I recently lived in a home with 7 dogs. It’s important that each animal within the house has their own needs met and are treated accordingly.

“Gail has been providing excellent loving care for our 2 cats in our home for 10 years. She has stayed in our home anywhere from a weekend to 5 weeks 2-4 times a year. Our cats are always well looked after; dietary needs followed, brought inside before dark, and taken to vet if needed after consulting with us. Gail plays with our cats and spoils them just like we do. When we are away a long time, she knows we are missing them and sends pictures and little stories about what they are up to. For the past year, Gail has also provided care to an outdoor stray that has adopted us. She has a gentle and kind manner with all pets. In addition to providing reliable pet care, our home is always clean and tidy when we return. I highly recommend Gail as a pet sitter!”
