About: I’d love to care for your pup with walks, visits, or overnight hang-outs! I work from home most of the time (setting my own schedule for days in the office) and will be able to spend tons of time with your pup with very few and flexible exceptions. Dogs who are well behaved, relaxed, and mellow are my favourite, but I love pups who have more energy as long as they listen really well and are gentle and kind :) We can go for walks in our quiet and safe neighbourhood and in the huge field outside our front door, and we can hangout together in our paved and closed off backyard! We are pretty mellow people and love having a pup around to walk and adventure with and to snuggle and chill with. I do not take dogs who do not walk well on a leash (unrelenting pulling is a no-go, but they also don’t have to be perfect or beside me the whole time - they can certainly sniff and explore and enjoy themselves), who are loud (consistent barking or whining), who have destructive separation anxiety, or who are aggressive with or have issues with other dogs or people (reactivity). If you’re in need of a sitter for a longer duration, it’s best if your dog would be comfortable in an office environment where other dogs may be present. It’s easier to accommodate longer stays if I can bring them with me to work, though I am able to work from home any time and certainly over shorter stays. Safety is my top priority followed closely by having fun! When outside I’ll keep your dog on a leash unless we are hanging out together in our closed off backyard.

About: Firstly I love animals but am unable to have my own pets at the moment so I enjoy spending time with them while pet sitting. I had 2 dogs and 2 cats for over 8 years before moving to Canada, and I always dog sit for my sister-in-law and cat sit for my close friends. About: I have grown up around animals my entire life. My grandfather is a CKC member, and breeder of retriever puppies. With him, I would help train to be hunting dogs, competition dogs, and even aid in search and rescue. He is decorated with medals for his training skills, because of this, as well as having owned or lived with different dogs my entire life I am very comfortable around a variety of ages, breeds and personality types. I know they all have different needs that I'm keen to pick up on! I also have tons of experience with all kinds of different cats. I am certainly a cat whisperer of sorts. Kitties love me almost as much as I love them! I am flexible and open to different things and can also take care of different caged pets like birds, reptiles, amphibians, rodents, rabbits, fish etc. if you happen to have one of those. I have a sensational green thumb and lots of experience watering and taking care of plants, so no need to worry about withering greens while you are away if you want me to look after them! ☺️ I currently work part time, Monday-Thursday. I am available for overnight care as well as care during the day at your house or mine. Luckily, my schedule is rather flexible and I may be able to accommodate you if there are any concerns or wishes regarding my availability. Just ask me! I will consider longer term stays, or even same days bookings if you need somebody to check in and let them out for a bathroom, play time break, or a walk while you're at work, on holiday, or can't get home in time. I live in a spacious bungalow with my two friendly, playful young cats next to the Ravine and various parks. I am able to look after pets in my home, where I have room to keep pets in their own separate space if required. The large yard is not technically fully fenced, as the neighbour has torn down a portion of the fence during construction, but I can keep dogs on a leash when going to the bathroom or spending time in the yard with me.
