About: I have been working in the animal care industry for 17 years starting when i was in high school. In that time I have been a vet assistant for most of my jobs. I have worked for companies like Best Friends, ASPCA, Banfield Pet Hospital, and currently work at Burlington Emergency and Veterinary Specialists. I also have experience working with larger animals other than dogs. I have worked at zoos and wild life rehabilitation centers, wolf refuges and even done some free lance whale research. I am willing to care for multiple pets if you have more than one but we will have to discuss this. I am also willing to take care of other types of pets such as birds, reptiles, and rodents. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s). Currently a stay at home dad so I'm available most days depending on my son's needs. But most times scheduling won't be affected as he is now in daycare. I have lots of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, this includes special needs pets who require administration of daily medications.

I'm reliable, responsible, and punctual - whether you need help during the work-week with intermittent dog walking, or someone to look after your pet while you're away, I'll make sure s/he is getting the appropriate care. I also recognize that different animals have different needs, and want to work with you to make sure your pet gets the best possible care. I look forward to meeting you and your pet soon! I'm available for boarding dogs on weekends and holidays, as well as smaller critters during the week. I can also walk your pup on weekday evenings. I do not currently have any dogs or cats, so your dog would have me to themselves! (I do have one hedgehog at home, but he is secure and separate from any other pets.)
About: I’ve lived with dogs on and off throughout the past ten years. Im very comfortable taking care of and walking dogs. I also have done a lot of dog sitting for friends throughout the past two years. I’m a student and looking for any and all opportunities to work. Usually Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends work best for me, but I’m open to any times! My pets at home have always had an invisible fence, so I have experience with that as well as regular fenced in yards. I have no issue with caring for and keeping pets safe!

“Brian is one of the most attentive and affectionate caregivers one could ever ask for in looking after their pet. I have a rescue pit-mix whose life started as a bait puppy for a fighting ring and often doesn’t get along with other dogs, who’s allergic to almost everything, and who is more demanding than a toddler when it comes to attention and affection, and Brian’s extensive training and background working with rescue animals, rehabilitating dogs and cats, and as a Veterinary Technician have made him someone that my dog Leeloo and I both love and trust very much. Brian has stayed with Leeloo for many overnights and is a true professional with regard to giving Leeloo her many daily medications and making sure she actually takes them, is excellent at incorporating her training into walks and playtime, and gives her all of the affection she craves to the point that she can see him or hear his voice from a block away and will start crying just to be with him. He’s an exceptional person, has a natural way with animals, and is incredibly knowledgeable about the relationship between humans and dogs. Leeloo and I could not give a higher recommendation for a walker or sitter and love Brian very much! Thank you Brian!!!”

Kate is amazing! We had great communication from the start. This is the first time we leave Maple for a whole week with a sitter, so at first we were nervous. Maple is a 17 pound cat with a strong personality, but lovable with people she elect. Few days before the boarding, Kate came to see Maple and the two click from the start. Maple doesn’t allow strangers to approach, and yet, allowed Kate to even brush her on day one. Kate helped to stablished an area for Maple’s tent, food, and litter in where Maple felt comfortable, and we could tell she was doing fine from the start. Daily throughout the week Kate sent us pictures and updates which we loved. We can thank her enough for the amazing job she did, and all the love she gave to Maple.
Cia was wonderful with our small dog! She has a friendly, calm demeanor that I think dogs respond well to. Her home was spacious and clean, she sent photos and updates every day, and went out of her way to make sure our dog felt comfortable while we were away. Would absolutely recommend her!
Dima was absolutely amazing! Dima took care of my dog for over a weeks time, and provided photos and updates regulary, and reached out with any concerns as soon as possible. I cannot express how greatly I appreciated the time Dima spent ensuring my dog was comfortable, ensured he acclimated to the new space, and got exercised. Dima even shared some behavior modifying suggestions to address my dogs barking for attention, which I greatly appreciated. Thank you for everything!
Hannah was the best! She's so understanding. I drove up to Vermont to visit family & Gizmo had to stay with her. During drop off, she thoroughly went over everything he may need during his stay & at pick up, he was prepared & ready to go for our 5 hr drive back home. She sent pictures & provided updates. I can tell she truly treated him like her own. Gizmo was so happy during his stay. Hannah even sent him home with his favorite toy that he found at her house. I am so glad I was able to find her (it was last minute too) & we will absolutely be a returning client. Gizmo made a forever friend in Vermont. Thank you so much!
