“Kathryn was great. She provided drop-ins for our dog Buddy while we were on vacation. That way he could stay in the comfort of his own home instead of being anxious at a boarding facility. She was incredibly flexible with time changes and very responsive with great communication. We enjoyed the daily pictures of Buddy, putting us at ease that he was being well cared for. About: I've had a lot of experience taking care of needy dogs, given insulin injections, and have administered medicines. Dogs have a tendency to gravitate to me. I have a very flexible schedule. My current job is part-time elderly care and housecleaning. I am available most days, especially if given advance notice. For sitting in your home, I would treat your home as if it were my own. I would be very respectful of your boundaries, always keeping your dog's best interest in mind.

About: I’ve been around dogs all my life—I truly like them more than people 😂. I’ve taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes, from tiny to huge! I also have experience with young dogs and seniors. Nothing makes me happier than a dog who likes me—seriously, it’s my goal to make friends with all the dogs! I have experience in giving medications, though I’m not as confident as id like to be when it comes to syringes—though I’m happy to keep trying and leaning! I work remote from home and I create my own schedule, so my days and nights are pretty wide open. I find that taking care of pets helps to break up the monotony of sitting at a laptop with the tv on in the background. Playing, walking, and snuggling with a pet is the perfect cure for boredom, that’s for sure! I can’t bring pets into my home, but while I’m taking care of your pets in your home, I like to make sure I leave it exactly as it was when I arrived. I have a deep respect for other people’s space and will always do my best to not disrupt your comfort and privacy. I’m also very happy to check for mail and bring package in from outside, if that’s something you also need help with.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life but recently had to move and cannot afford a dog on my own. I have experience volunteering in a dog shelter so I’m familiar with all types of dogs and their challenges. Whether anxious, shy, or wanting lots of attention, I can be there! I’m familiar with big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, and puppies. I am a teacher on summer vacation so I’m free almost every day all day long until mid August. My schedule will change once the school year begins but I’ll be free again during holiday breaks! In the past when I’ve helped with dogs, I ask the owner their routines to best support the dogs with familiarity. I’ve noticed they are less anxious when their schedule is systematic. The routine can be as simple as giving an ice cube after a walk or sitting on the couch to give them pets, but it makes a big difference in their comfort! If there is a route you take or a special place to stand, I am willing to learn and support your pet with these routines! I do not do overnight sittings anymore and I do not allow pets where I live due to rules.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life, ranging from small to large, puppy to senior. Family friends and neighbours have requested my dog walking services in the past! I am a college student who is currently home for the summer and looking for opportunities to meet and love new animals. My schedule is very flexible and open! I treat other people's pets like I treat my own--with lots and lots of love. I am very good at following instructions and seeing to the needs of pets :)
