She also sent us daily photos and updates, which made us feel connected to the dogs and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We had left clean linens for her to use, and she went above and beyond by washing them and leaving fresh ones on the bed. That level of thoughtfulness meant a lot to us. Our flight home was delayed by an hour, and Clancy was incredibly kind to stay with the dogs so they were never left alone. About: I have loved animals since I was kid. Our family got a dog (finally!) when I was in high-school (after many years of begging my parents :). I started pet and house sitting in the early 2000s because of my love for animals. I've watched dogs, cats, and even a chinchilla. I volunteered as a foster parent with PAWS in the Seattle area for almost three years, getting dogs ready for adoption. You'll always see me ask to pet a dog when passing one on a walk. I currently work remotely so have availability all days of the week. I live in Seattle and have pet-sat in the city as well as on the Eastside for many families. I am careful to follow all safety protocols: making sure the area is safe and avoiding any aggressive-displaying animals while obeying neighborhood & street requirements.
