Her fenced backyard provides plenty of safe space for dogs to run around and play. Laura also has a sweet, friendly French Bulldog, and Oreo immediately took a liking to both Laura and her dog. It was clear from the start that Laura and her family genuinely love animals—they have several pets and are very comfortable caring for them. “To say the first day did not go as planned would be an understatement. Inexplicably, Lewis and Clark seemed to have forgotten their potty training. I was frustrated and embarrassed by my boys’ behavior. I take seriously my responsibility to be transparent with Rover sitters and was shocked by what Sandra was sharing. Sandra kept me informed and made adjustments to prevent further episodes. Gratefully, she encouraged me not to worry and to enjoy my time away. The boys got their act together after the first day and the remaining days were less eventful. I cannot thank Sandra enough for her honesty and patience. It’s easy to compliment and recommend a sitter when everything goes according to plan. You get more valuable insight into a sitter’s disposition and professionalism when challenges arise: potty issues, property damage, medical emergencies, etc. Sandra is a gem. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, from tiny wiggle‑butts to big gentle giants, and I’ve spent years helping care for my family’s pups whenever they needed an extra hand. Most of my experience comes from real life — feeding, walking, playing, keeping routines, and giving plenty of love. I don’t have formal pet‑sitting experience, but I’ve built a ton of hands‑on skills through years of caring for my own dog, Blue, and other family pets. I’m comfortable with all sizes and personalities, and I treat every dog like they’re part of the family. I’m currently not working, so I have a very flexible schedule throughout the week and can easily adapt to your dog’s routine. I’m available for walks, daycare, boarding, and drop‑ins, and can support feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and general companionship. I’m comfortable caring for small and medium‑sized dogs and prefer to host no more than two at a time so each pup gets plenty of attention. For walks and drop‑ins, I’m available from mornings through mid‑evening, with a general cutoff around 7pm. My goal is to make your dog’s day feel smooth, safe, and consistent while you’re away. I live in a condo where pets are welcome, and I follow all building rules, including keeping dogs leashed in common areas. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, my sweet pup Blue passed several years ago, I genuinely miss having a dog around and love providing a calm, caring environment. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I’m happy to follow whatever boundaries you prefer. “Aina did a great job with zorro, and sent plenty of photos and videos during my long trip. Zorro particularly loved playing with one of the other dogs that Aina housesits. There’s a huge fenced yard and it’s a nice neighborhood for dog walks. While Aina doesn’t own any dogs, she has a pretty active doggy day care situation … she fences off dogs that don’t play well with others, but if this is an issue for your dog, it’s good to know in advance. I would definitely consider having her watch my dog again.”

“Samm is a dog whisperer. Our Akita mix of 12 years never waded beyond her white socks into water. One week with Samm and she swam! Samm is communicative, clearly cares for dogs, and knows the best spots to take them on adventures. Your dog may decide they need to upgrade their parents by the end of their stay! Samm has a large following of repeat customers and that drew us to her. We now know why - Our dog was well fed, walked, exercised and loved. Samm reached out when she noticed that our dog wasn’t drinking enough water and worked out a strategy to get her to drink more. Attention to detail is a key feature with Samm. Samm is respectful and compassionate towards dogs first but also towards humans. She very kindly dropped our pup off at our house after the sitting assignment, at our request. You’d be lucky to work with Samm and learn a thing or two about being a better dog parent. Get in line, fast!”
