About: Although I take care of mostly cats now, I grew up with my own dog and cared for him until my own adulthood. Ready to care for, love, ignore (as needed by many cats), pet, and cuddle with your loved furry friends. I am a student with lots of time to hug and care for your furry friends! Super flexible hours and can work around your schedule. My own baby enjoys lots of time in the sunshine. I make sure to play extensively with her and other cats I have sitted. Feeding, cuddling, cleaning litter boxes are done multiple times a day for my own and I expect to provide that same care for your loved ones.

“Mariam has been a great dog walker for our senior dog Hannah- she is attentive, observant, caring and a great communicator. She goes above and beyond by giving our cats some attention as well and picks up on small details with our dog who is on medication which brings us such peace of mind.”

“Jay and Lisette have been so good with walking Bunni and Sharki for a whole week, they are not only consistently on time and always walk them a bit more time than allotted, but also take the time to wipe their paws especially when it’s nasty outside. Would absolutely recommend them to others!”

“I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care Chauntrell gave my pup while I was away! From the moment we connected, he was communicative, kind, and clearly passionate about animals. He sent daily updates, photos, and even little notes about how my dog was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was gone. Chauntrell was so patient and gentle with him it didn’t take long before he was completely comfortable and excited for their walks. He treated my pup like he was their own, and that means the world to me. I highly recommend Chauntrell to anyone looking for someone dependable, loving, and professional. I will absolutely be booking with him again in the future! Thank you again for everything my friend! 🐾❤️”

About: While I do not currently share my life with a dog of my own (it's a matter of being unable to adopt every dog I lay my eyes on!), I dearly love helping pet parents keep their dogs happy and healthy and preferably in their own homes while their owners are away. I love to travel, and love to spend time with as many dogs as I can possibly fit into my day. You can often find me chatting with others about their animals, and I am always interested in hearing about every little detail. I enjoy helping people get a greater understanding regarding the welfare of their animals, and sometimes bore my friends with random and obscure dog breeds, and what I know of their temperament and behavior. I'm proud to say I try to research as many breeds as I can so that I know what to expect, and hey, it's always fun to just know why and how a breed came into existence! I happen to also be studying veterinary technology, for the knowledge of nutrition and behavior, since surgery is more information than I want. :D I am also very happy to drop by or stay with your cats, and am quite used to the varying personalities of these small creatures: the ones who like to play hide and seek, the aloof, the playful, and the grumpy. I don't mind at all, as long as the cat is comfortable, eating, and using their litter box, all is well! I can work my day around your dog or cat, as I am a dedicated sitter, and much prefer to spend my time enjoying the company of cats and dogs as much as I can. I much prefer to stay with the dog or cat in their own home, as having their familiar surroundings help them remain peaceful, happy, and comfortable.

“Netiya is very friendly and great with my dog Tasia! She is very reliable and I can feel comfortable that Tasia is in good hands while I am at work. I love that she sends me pictures of Tasia from every walk. She is also great at communicating and will respond to me right away. One day I had an emergency and I couldn't get anyone to be home with Tasia, and she was more than willing to run over and take her out! I would 100% recommend Netiya to anyone!”

“We'd used Matt before for dog-sitting, and it turns out he's a great walker too! Bobbie loves seeing him, and he's so conscientious about our routines. There's no one we'd rather spend time with our pup!”

About: I have always had pets, but I have been dog walking since middle school and pet sitting since high school. I have cared for many different breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs and cats, as well as some fish, lizards, snakes, bunnies and birds. I am able to learn and adapt quickly, and am always happy to care for a new species, big or small. I am experienced with caring for pets with special needs or medicines. I have experience with all aspects of dog and cat care, from puppy training to caring for senior dogs with limited mobility, and I am willing to learn about anything I have not yet experienced, including caring for exotic pets. I am comfortable caring for up to a farm's worth of pets at a time, depending on their needs. I have a soft spot for really big dogs, especially rowdy ones! I am working freelance at the moment, so my schedule is completely open! I am available to petsit overnight, to walk dogs during the day, or even to give occasional rides to the park or the vet! I generally prefer to care for pets in their own home. I like to match my routine to yours to minimize stress for your pets, so I am very flexible. I will want to meet with you and your pets prior to sitting to familiarize myself with your routine and needs, and to make sure I am a good match with your pets. I can be as relaxed or energetic as needed depending on the number and energy level of your pets. I will spend as much time petting and cuddling your animals as they let me!

“Kexin is so amazing with our big pup, Ace! She is reliable, trustworthy, and great with dogs! She always sends us plenty of updates and photos of their adventures, even when they happen to be in the rain!!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have years of hands-on experience in both pet rescue and the pet wellness world. I worked at an animal shelter in Texas, caring for rescued dogs and cats—feeding, cleaning kennels, giving vaccinations, and helping animals feel safe and loved. I also spent over two years as an assistant manager at Kriser’s Natural Pet in Chicago, where I learned a ton about nutrition, behavior, and holistic care. These days, I’m a work-from-home dog mom to my own 7-year-old rescue pup (who thinks he’s a cat—yes, he has a window perch)! 🐕🐈⬛ I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and I have experience caring for senior dogs and administering medication. I don’t offer puppy care, but I’m always happy to tailor my approach to your dog’s personality - whether that means a long walk, a play session, or just being their calm companion while you’re away! 🐾 I work from home Monday to Friday, so I’m pretty flexible with breaks to give your pup some love and walks. I’m usually free early mornings before 8 a.m., midday from 12 to 5 p.m., and evenings after 7 p.m. during summer — hoping to walk dogs pretty much every day, as long as you’re nearby! Last-minute requests happen sometimes, but not too often, and I’m not available on Thursdays. I’m juggling school too, and will be off for two weeks in October for my honeymoon (woohoo!). At home, my rescue dog Shiney and I spend lots of time playing, walking, and chilling during my meetings, so I know how important quality pet time is. I’m all about short visits and long walks, and I’m happy to work around your schedule to make sure your dog gets exactly what they need. I don’t do boarding or daycare, but I’m happy to stay overnight at your place so your pup can chill in their own comfy home. Whether it’s a quick walk or a sleepover, I’m all about keeping your dog safe, happy, and feeling loved! I stick to your pup’s routine, follow your instructions, and make sure they get plenty of attention and belly rubs. Plus, I keep you in the loop with updates so you can relax knowing your furry best friend is in great hands!

“Came to meet and talk about Artoo before walking him the first time. We walked together for a bit so she could get a good handle on his behavior. It made me feel so much safer in letting him go with a stranger. Kind and calm presence.”

“Veronica is the best dog Walker. She is flexible and does a very good job making sure my dog gets what he needs while I'm at work. She's a sweet girl who is trusting and cares about what she does. I'm so glad I chose her to care for Rocco.”

About: I’ve taken care of my family’s dogs since I was young. No longer have a dog of my own but I’d love to continue to care for cats and dogs! I am currently working full time in Downtown Chicago. I am available to care for cats or dogs after work in the evenings or possibly some weekends. I don’t have any pets of my own currently but I am more than happy to care for pets in clients homes. Willing to give walks, feed, give medicine, and any other services needed.

About: I've taken care of other's pets as long as I can remember! From watching pets for friends, family, and neighbors to having my own! I also began volunteering at the local animal shelter when I was 18 to assist with walking, feeding, and cleaning up dogs. This is my sole job so l will be able to give all my time, attention, and love 100% of the time to these sweet babies! I take pet care very seriously and send pictures throughout each day to ensure your pet is safe and happy! In case of emergencies, I will need their preferred vet info. If any special accommodations are necessary, please don't hesitate to reach out to me!

About: I'm patient, active, and reliable. I have experience caring for pets at shelters ranging from puppies/kitties to senior pets. I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I am currently a teacher so my available time on weekdays is after 4:30pm, and weekends (availability varies). I end work around the start of June, which means I'll have more flexibility during the summer! ☀️ I’m meticulous and great at following instructions, so I stick to your pet’s routine exactly—feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I also send regular updates -if you want- so you can relax while you're away.

“Michelle is probably more knowledgable and empathetic than anyone else I have ever contracted to care for my sweet baby kitten Nixon. Not only did they go far above the bare minimum in caring for Nixon (playing with her and sending me the some of the cutest photos I've ever seen), they followed up by teaching me more about how to properly care for my cat once I was back home. I am eternally grateful for the love they selflessly show to all of God's creatures.”

Bridgeport dog parents share their Rover experiences
Chauntrell was absolutely phenomenal! He came through for me in a tight situation and was truly a lifesaver. His care and attention to my dog were outstanding — I could tell he genuinely loves animals. On a hot summer day, he even brought ice water for my dog during the walk, which was such a thoughtful touch. I would happily use his services again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and professional.
