About: I’ve had several large breed dogs since I was a child. I am comfortable handling dogs that pull and are like little tanks. My rottie used to stop and sniff everything, and he set our pace on walks. I’m an adjunct English professor, so I can also help your pets with their college admission essays.I am open all summer, but will be teaching in the evenings this fall. I can’t currently care for your pets in my apartment, because my cats said no, but I will be respectful and careful in your home.

About: I've had dogs, large and small, off and on since I was 9. I'm comfortable working with them and making sure their needs are met. I'm definitely also a cat person and enjoy the chill companionship that they provide. I'm happy to work with you to make sure your fuzzy family members are taken care of as well as I would want my own to be. I am self employed and have a flexible work from home schedule. During the school year, I have flexible availability around pick up and drop off times, and during the summer my hours are even more flexible. Whatever schedule you need, I can probably accommodate (within reason). While I cannot care for your pets in my home at this time, I'm happy to work with you to care for your pets in your home following their usual routine to keep them as comfortable and happy as possible. I prefer dogs to be bathed prior to boarding. My job allows me flexibility because I work from home. It will be easy to sit, feed, and walk your dog and be a companion. I prefer dogs to be bathed prior to boarding. I can easily crate your dog if needed and take he/she for walks such as down to the park or the beach or town center.

About: Hello! My name is Chelsea. I first started with Rover about 10 years ago when I was in college. Originally from Connecticut, I moved around a bit during and after college, working with Rover throughout. I have clients in both Philadelphia and Florida and would love to now bring my business to CT! I live in Branford and am self-employed with a fairly flexible schedule. I have availability throughout the day for walks and drop-in visits. I am an experienced animal lover who has grown up with dogs my entire life. I currently have two dogs- Maya and Jax. They were both rescues that each had their own troubles I had to work through with them. Maya is a Rottweiler and a survivor of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. She was very timid when we adopted her. With love, care, and patience over the past two years, she has finally come out of her shell to be a goofy sweetheart. She is a senior now, that requires assistance on stairs and getting up, so I have the capability to help with seniors as well. She’s 85 pounds and I am able to lift her up, so I can assist dogs that need additional mobility help if needed. Jax is another story. He was on the opposite side of the spectrum- very hyper and had severe separation anxiety after being abandoned by two sets of owners. I worked with him to be used to being alone for periods of time and is now able to stay home while I am at work. My previous dog, Morgan, lived to be nearly 15 and had diabetes for the last 5 years of her life. She required 2 insulin shots a day, so I am comfortable with administering medication and dealing with special needs. I am able to work with dogs of all types of personalities. Before I watch your babies, I will have a conversation with you so I can truly understand your dog's needs and to make you feel as comfortable as possible! I run my own small business from home, so I have the flexibility to come to your home for walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I am not currently offering pet sitting services at my own home, but will respect your home and leave it as if it were my own.

About: I have been Pet lover since I was a kid I have watched family and friends animals when they've gone on vacation and went away. I also have had several pets of my own that I have loved and taken care of I am very fine fond of small dogs especially love them to I like big dogs. I also house if need be. I am a 59 year old retiring live in Branford I mean looking for something meaningful in my life to do and to take care of fur babies would do just that. I have loved animals since I was a kid Dogs cats mothers used to say I would bring any stray home LOL. I have a fenced in yard that sits behind a storage unit which our fence is very high and no other animal can really get in I have a screened in porch and a lovely home which I have provided pictures of Your fur baby would be safe with me

About: I’ve been around pets my entire life, including having a dog and cat growing up. I am comfortable around all sizes and ready to care for yours! I have a flexible schedule during the week which allows me the ability to pop in throughout the day regardless of time. I also have time on the weekends to help! I am able to run with your pet at your home or take them for a walk or hike around town. I have a crate, bed and plenty of toys if they stay.
