“Liam is a fantastic caretaker - Frannie came back rested and content. He is clearly a gentle soul who loves dogs. Highly recommend for dogs with separation anxiety”

2. Sabita S.
“Sabita took wonderful care of our two dogs, Oreo and Milky, for over two weeks. Oreo, who gets anxious around new people, felt at ease thanks to Sabita’s patience and gentle approach. Milky, who needs help managing his weight, benefited from Sabita’s regular walks and playtime in the backyard. Both dogs were happy and well-cared for. We’ve already booked her again for our next trip and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone needing loving pet care.”

9. Natalie B.
About: Hello, My name is Natalie I’m 29, no kids but I am married! I have 3 fur babies myself a Rhodesian ridgeback 100lbs, a male pitbull 45lbs and a baby girl pitbull about 40lbs. All of my dogs are reactive for one reason or another so I have EXTENSIVE experience handling a dog that might not be the best around other dogs. I will ensure that every action that I take I would do confidently with my own dogs. Aside from dogs I have owned cats for years and also own two birds! I’m located in Hopatcong and am always available! Please contact me with any and all questions I know picking a dog sitter etc is hard! I work part time currently and am mostly available at all times! I have owned and worked with many dogs through out my life so I know nothing can be perfectly timed! I own 3 dogs so when it comes to caring for them I’m paranoid! I ensure that nothing is on the floor to be chewed. The dogs go out when needed at minimum 4 times a day. Lots of play in between outside and walks! I will ensure that any dog I care for will be treated as family as I would want for my dogs!

10. Pamela G.
“Pam was a great sitter! She had amazing communication with us (we were the ones that were more worried, lol). It truly is hard to find someone you can trust nowadays, but with her, you’ll have no worries! Our Spunky loved her!!!”

“Haley has been so friendly and welcoming every time she comes and takes care of my dog Cooper. He was always a nervous dog being around new people, but with her he was so open and loved her from the start. She has walked and taken care of him so much that she’s basically family. She alway keeps me updated and sends me photos making me feel more comfortable when I’m away. She’s just absolutely amazing!!”

14. Julia W.

“Julia was absolutely phenomenal with my puppy. She kept me updated with pictures throughout the day and took her out as needed. I would absolutely book her again! Thank you!”

“Christine and her husband are extremely trustworthy and loving pet owners and caretakers! Christine took very good care of my dog, showered her with love, pets, and kisses! I highly recommend this loving couple for your pet care needs!”

16. Elizabeth S.
“Elizabeth is a caring, responsible, well-prepared and well-educated dog professional. Her communication is outstanding, and she treats her dogs as if they were her own, while being flexible and making sure she knows what YOUR dog needs. She has a background in dog training and behavior, which is terrific. She is thoughtful and caring - I am a very nervous dog owner with a high-energy escape artist of a Jack Russell, and Elizabeth did an amazing job of taking care of her (and me!). She was flexible, easy to work with, and gave Tori not just safe, loving care, but also grand adventures! She has a strong understanding of dog behavior and uses that to make sure your dog is superbly taken care of and happy. I recommend her without reservation, and am looking forward to using her again! It is an absolutely fantastic and reassuring thing to know that Tori has a wonderful home away from home.”

18. Jessica L.
About: I grew up with family dogs throughout my childhood and couldn’t get enough animal love so I pursued a career in veterinary medicine. I’ve been pet sitting on and off since I was in high school and decided to make a little more time in my life to share my love with other people’s fur babies. My boyfriend and I currently have two border collie mixes named Oliver and Bandit, and two cats named Smudge and Jinx. I’m finally in a position that provides me with a great work/life balance with a 3 day work week and a commute under 40 minutes. I work 12+ hour shifts at an ER/Specialty veterinary hospital Sun-Tues and I bring my dogs to work on those days if my boyfriend won’t be home. I’m almost always available for any pet sitting needs Wednesday through Saturday. We just moved to the area on a quiet street and have a partially fenced yard. I can take dogs for low intensity hikes, walks around the neighborhood, or let them run around out back for exercise. If you have any special requests for overnight care I will do my absolute best to accommodate.

19. Casey M.
“Casey is a very responsible and loving dog owner. I have known her since she got her own new pup and that dog is well taken care of. He is always peppy and healthy because she takes full responsibility to make sure he is walked every day, fed well and taught to be a well behaved dog. She is very good at managing her time to take care of him even when her schedule gets busy. She once house-sat for my animals and even in the snow storms while I was gone she made sure they were happy and cared for. Can't ask for a better sitter!”

20. Hannelie R.
About: Your dog becomes part of my household, which already includes a Border Collie and Jack Russel. I would not crate any dog unless absolutely required for short periods. Therefore I need to meet the dogs before commitment to ensure they are friendly and fit in for a visit. I am running my own farm business and is at home almost all the time, taking care of animals is my day-to-day activity. I only take in 1 or 2 animals at a time and already spend a lot of time walking and playing with my own dogs, adding 1-2 additional is part of the daily activities. I have 2 dogs already, they are never crated (since initial house training). I would not expect to crate any visiting dog either, unless there are specific circumstances raised by owner or if dog is destructive in the house when running free. I am the only carer for visiting dogs. While there are other people in household, I will be the sole carer and only person signing up with Rover.
