About: I have been pet-sitting for my neighbors, boss, and co-workers since 2010. While I occasionally board pets in my home, I usually provide pet/house-sitting in the customer's home. I walk/feed/brush dogs, administer oral medication if indicated, and spend time playing with them. I also take in mail, water plants, and take out trash/recycling. I am a newly retired teacher, now only working part time. I am available for your pet care needs early morning, early afternoon, & evenings. If I am providing care in my home, I can offer to take dogs for a walk in a nearby state park. I try to keep the pets' feeding and walking schedules consistent with that of the owners.

I will care for them just like they were my own pet. Being a dog owner myself, I understand how much they mean to their families. I've worked in animal rescue, done trap-neuter-release, cared for a colony of feral cats for a decade, and fostered more kittens and adult cats than I can count. I offer visits, walks, overnight stays, or I can live at your house while you are away. I am a nature and wildlife photographer so I have gotten to know, to one degree or the other, all of the animals around my home, which, I believe, helps to make me comfortable with all types of pets. I also offer pet portraits! I have experience with all of the usual pets, plus a few unusual ones too. I will take good care of your dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, small animals and even tarantulas or insects. I will treat your pets as if they were my own and I will let you know how the visits are going. Your pets will be safe and well cared for with me. I have a regular part time job with a flexible schedule so can be available just about anytime. Let me know what you need and we can work it out. Home visits run about a 1/2 an hour and include, depending upon your pet, a walk, poop scoop, litter box cleaning, feeding, watering and treat dispensing, and pats and cuddles.
