About: I have been pet-sitting for my neighbors, boss, and co-workers since 2010. While I occasionally board pets in my home, I usually provide pet/house-sitting in the customer's home. I walk/feed/brush dogs, administer oral medication if indicated, and spend time playing with them. I also take in mail, water plants, and take out trash/recycling. I am a newly retired teacher, now only working part time. I am available for your pet care needs early morning, early afternoon, & evenings. If I am providing care in my home, I can offer to take dogs for a walk in a nearby state park. I try to keep the pets' feeding and walking schedules consistent with that of the owners.

About: Ever since college, I’ve enjoyed pet sitting small lap dog size to giant Great Danes. I first started to find a running buddy and then it turned into a fun job for me. It even helped me buy my wife her engagement ring! I own an aussiedoodle who is always active and have learned quite a bit through dog ownership. I’ve helped several neighbors in various cities and can provide references from some awesome families. I work as an at home teacher so my schedule is very flexible. I’m able to provide drop ins, dog walking, and house sit so your pets can feel safe in their space. I’m very good at following directions and leaving spaces the same if not better than I find them. About: I’ve grown up with Beagles and work well with all breeds and ages. I strongly believe that every dog deserves a day out on the town (or maybe just a walk around it). I’m free most weekends and various times during the day. I can do early mornings or late nights, happy to spend time with any dog throughout the day. I knock and ring the doorbell always first, just so the dogs know I’m coming (if they don’t already), walk in, greet everyone and wish the dogs a good morning, feed and water them, then let them have their breakfast and take them on a walk afterwards, always making sure to clean up after them when I first get there and definitely before I leave.

“Erika was amazing!! This was my first time using the Rover App and I was so lucky to find Erika my first try! Erika was communicative, reliable, energetic and very sweet!! When I arrived to drop off my dog, Erika greeted us with arms full of sticks and toys ready to play with my dog (I told her sticks were my dogs favorite) it was so cute!! My dog can be very nervous and anxious, but Erika was very patient and understanding. She was able to handle my dog confidently and she sent photos and updates throughout their walk to reassure me that my dog was doing well. About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, including a Black Lab, Miniature Pinscher, Rottweiler, and German Shepherd. Being around such different breeds has taught me that every dog has their own personality, energy level, quirks, and way of showing you what they need. I also have hands-on experience caring for dogs in my family. I regularly help care for my sister’s two dogs—a 1-year-old Corgi and a 13-year-old English Bulldog. Having both a young, energetic dog and a senior dog has given me an appreciation for how different their needs can be. I allow the pets to lay in bed, utilize the sofa and chairs, and have free roam of the house. I follow the client's routines to a T as well in order to maintain consistency as consistency is key!
