I’ve had pets my whole life, from cats and dogs to horses, fish, birds, reptiles and smaller critters! I can offer your pets friendly, loving care in their own home or mine. They will be walked, cuddled and played with, whatever their needs, their happiness is important to me while you are away. I can text photos to you of your pets each day to keep you updated! I’ve experience with small and large breed dogs and love a good walk as much as they do! I’m happy to come to your house and look after all of your pets - cats, dogs, lizards, fish etc!! If you prefer that I have your pet at my house, I can offer a clean home with older kids. They’ll be treated like my own, with love and respect.

This was my first time using Rover and I was extremely happy with Kathryn! She took pictures and gave me daily updates on how my Westie, Tess, was doing. Tess can be a lot at times, as some terriers can be, but she did very well with Kathryn and her family. We will definitely be back!!

I couldn’t be happier with my dog Luna’s sitter this past weekend! She was so easy to work with and communicate with from start to finish. It was clear she truly loves and cares for animals—Luna warmed up to her right away. At pickup, Luna was so happy and relaxed that she practically didn’t want to go home, which tells me she had an amazing time. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving, and dependable sitter!
We recently added a new cat to our family and were a bit anxious about leaving both kitties while we were away. Kathryn gave us a completely worry-free experience! She treated our cats like they were her own—playing with them, interacting daily, and making sure they felt loved and cared for. We received detailed updates and adorable daily photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Her service was worth every penny, and we’ll absolutely be reaching out to Rover and Kathryn again the next time we travel. Highly recommend!
Kathryn is great. We were away and Rocky was sick and she had patience and treated him like her own. I would recommend her over and over. Someone you can definitely trust and rely on!
We were so lucky to have found Kathryn right when we needed her! She took great care of my babies and always showed up as scheduled and walked my dogs at their pace (slow). I’d highly recommend her for excellent pet care!

Schedule
I work full time as a behavior therapist but am home from 5pm during the week. There is always a member of my family home during the day as we have dogs of our own to take care of, so your pet would never be left alone all day. We walk our dogs daily. I'm home on weekends too to make sure that your pet has a great experience with lots of exercise and love.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large garden for pets to enjoy with a fenced in paddock exclusively for our guests along with our own dogs, plus a fenced in pool area, so if you have a pet that likes to swim there would be opportunity for them to cool off in the summer! Your pet would only be crated if you recommended it for the time we are all out of the house. If your pet is used to sleeping on the bed or the couch, I will accommodate them to whatever they are used to at home. Any medications would be given as per your advice. My house is an easy going family home, plenty of space and your pet would be treated like our own with lots of love.
Pets
A typical day
When the weather is good I like to be outside in the garden and your pet will be there with me. Always with my attention! There are plenty of sticks and balls to chase or they can just hang out and be by my side, depends on your pets level of energy. If your dog is happy to ride in the car then I am happy to take them to one of the many nearby trails for a walk. Or if you prefer I can keep the walks to the neighborhood. If your pet is staying with me I’d make sure that their favorite toys are with them ready for fun.
