When she got out of the car at Morgan's house for her second stay there, she ran to greet Morgan and was excited to go inside. When we picked her up the next day, she was being very affectionate with Morgan. Not sure what more anyone can ask for from a dog-sitter.”

Recently, I cared for an elderly dog who needed daily medication and extra safety precautions around stairs due to mobility challenges. I own a home with a large backyard, perfect for dogs to explore, play, and run to their hearts’ content. I also have experience walking dogs and ensuring they get the exercise they need. I can provide all essentials while I care for your dog, including a bed, toys, food and water bowls, and even a leash if needed. I do not supply food, snacks, or collar/harness due to each dog's unique needs. If your dog requires crating, the crate will need to be provided with instructions and practice of the process and routine your dog has for crating. My goal is to offer your pet a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they feel right at home. I prioritize the safety and comfort of every dog in my care. To ensure a calm and secure environment, I only board one dog or a set of dogs from the same family at a time. This policy helps me provide individualized attention and prevents potential stress or conflicts between unfamiliar dogs. If you have multiple dogs from the same household who are already accustomed to each other, I’ll gladly accommodate them together. As a business owner who works entirely from home, I have the flexibility to provide dedicated, around-the-clock care for your dog. My adaptable schedule allows me to take walks, play, feed, and handle any other pet care duties as needed throughout the day. Your dog will never be left unattended for long, ensuring they receive the attention, love, and care they deserve at all times. I own a half-acre property, perfect for walks and playtime, but as it’s not fenced, I ensure your dog’s safety by keeping them on a leash while outdoors. This allows them to enjoy the space while staying secure. If your dog requires crating, I ask that you provide the crate along with clear instructions and details about their unique crating routine. I’ll follow your dog’s established process to ensure they feel comfortable and maintain their routine while in my care. About: Your dog becomes part of my household, which already includes a Border Collie and Jack Russel. I would not crate any dog unless absolutely required for short periods. Therefore I need to meet the dogs before commitment to ensure they are friendly and fit in for a visit. I am running my own farm business and is at home almost all the time, taking care of animals is my day-to-day activity. I only take in 1 or 2 animals at a time and already spend a lot of time walking and playing with my own dogs, adding 1-2 additional is part of the daily activities. I have 2 dogs already, they are never crated (since initial house training). I would not expect to crate any visiting dog either, unless there are specific circumstances raised by owner or if dog is destructive in the house when running free. I am the only carer for visiting dogs. While there are other people in household, I will be the sole carer and only person signing up with Rover.

About: I grew up with family dogs throughout my childhood and couldn’t get enough animal love so I pursued a career in veterinary medicine. I’ve been pet sitting on and off since I was in high school and decided to make a little more time in my life to share my love with other people’s fur babies. My boyfriend and I currently have two border collie mixes named Oliver and Bandit, and two cats named Smudge and Jinx. I’m finally in a position that provides me with a great work/life balance with a 3 day work week and a commute under 40 minutes. I work 12+ hour shifts at an ER/Specialty veterinary hospital Sun-Tues and I bring my dogs to work on those days if my boyfriend won’t be home. I’m almost always available for any pet sitting needs Wednesday through Saturday. We just moved to the area on a quiet street and have a partially fenced yard. I can take dogs for low intensity hikes, walks around the neighborhood, or let them run around out back for exercise. If you have any special requests for overnight care I will do my absolute best to accommodate.
