About: I may not have a professional certification in animal behavior, but what I do have is a deep love for dogs, years of experience caring for my own dog, and a commitment to keeping your pet safe, happy, and loved. I pride myself on being patient, attentive, and dependable. I can implement strict feeding schedules and medications, navigate long walks/hikes, or simply recognize when a dog just needs some quiet companionship. I will treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. You can count on me for regular photo/video updates and the peace of mind that your pet is being treated like family. I am an early riser and have the ability to be very flexible. I had dedicated the past 14 years of my life to caring for my late rescue, and am capable to continue doing so for many more. I live in a two-story, single bedroom condo within an HOA community. I do not have a fenced yard, but I will be able to keep your dog active with many walks and interactions with other dogs. My home is spacious and orderly. I am clean and respectful of other's spaces; I treat it as my own. I am well educated and willing to lend a hand when others are in need of help.

“I almost don’t want to leave a review because I don’t want this secret out - ha! It’s hard to find someone I really trust with my beloved dog, but I definitely have. Dawn is wonderful and it’s a paradise for small dogs at her house. I love that I don’t have to worry about my little 5 pound dog being trampled by large dogs. She sent me daily pictures and updates and I felt so comfortable with my dog in her care. She treats all the dogs like her own. Can’t recommend her enough!!”
About: I am patient and will let your dog sniff around all they want. I am caring and will ensure the path your dog is walking on is safe for their paws. And I am energetic, leaving your dog tired when they come home. I will care for your dog by keeping them on a leash and bringing water for when they get thirsty. With your cat, I will first let them sniff me and warm up to me. They’ll soon cuddle up to me. I am available most days before 9am, at lunchtime (between 12pm and 2pm) and after 5pm. For house visits, I am able to stay either all day or all night and pop during the day for mealtimes/potty breaks. While in your home, I am mindful of your space and will follow your instructions. For boarding visits, I live near a park and can take your pet out 3-4 times a day. Unfortunately while I understand everyone’s needs/customs are different, I do no accept dogs that either use an indoor doggy potty or are not house trained.

Also very flexible with scheduling and pickup/drop off times. We fully trusted Amy and her family while we were on vacation and knew she was in good care. “This past weekend, Desi and Marilyn watched our sweet pup Maddie who is disabled. She is paralyzed from the waist down and can only walk with the help of wheels. We have never left her in anyone’s care. From the start, both Desi and Marilyn made us feel so comfortable with leaving her in their care. Throughout the weekend, they sent updates with pictures and videos of Maddie. They made us feel so at ease and relieved, we really appreciated all they did. Cookie was taken such great care of by Louis! This was our first time leaving Cookie with someone we didn’t know and Louis was so kind to her and patient.
