“Jimena took good care of our dog while we went to explore Grandfather Mountain and they only allow dogs in the nature discover center if one has a service dog. Next time we return to Boone, we will definitely reach out to Jimena especially when we plan to explore areas that do not allow fur babies. She created a lovely space for dogs to run and or relax. Thanks Jimena.”

“Mrs.Kara is absolutely awesome. I have never felt more comfortable leaving Lola with someone. Lola walks into Mrs.Kara's home like she belongs there and comes home so sleepy from playing all day. Mrs Kara communicates so well and takes so many pictures! I will always choose Mrs.Kara!!”

About: Hello! My name is Heather. I'm a 28 year old Boone local. I have 10 years of paid experience as a pet sitter. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, rabbits, hedgehogs, turtles, horses, cattle, chickens, and ducks through ownership over the years. I have professional experience working at a dog kennel for 5 years. I have worked with special needs animals including diabetic, handicapped and elderly as well as newborn animals. I have a home with 40 acres of land so I can offer boarding services for most animals and provide plenty of interesting hiking if your pet stays with me. I'm home three times during the day (morning, lunch and evening). That gives me plenty of time to provide potty breaks often during the week. I offer in home pet care and boarding. For clients wanting in home care, I can stop by up to three times a day and I can occasionally offer overnight care. For those wanting to board, I provide a safe environment with lots of room. I have house with a large amount of land and safe places to walk and play. I have room and experience with safely isolating your pet if there are issues with aggression or if you aren't comfortable with your pet being around other pets. Potty breaks are provided every 3-4 hours for dogs and longer walks or play at least once a day

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 10 years. I grew up with a family dog from the time I was nine, and now that I’m in college, I have a fur baby of my own who I’m currently training. She loves people and enjoys playing with other dogs, so your pup will have a friendly buddy around! In addition to personal experience, I’ve also worked at the Boys & Girls Club of America, where I would bring in dogs for the kids to read to. Watching the joy it brought both the children and the dogs was truly unforgettable. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I can’t wait to give your pet the same love and attention. I attend classes through the week, They are only a hour and half long and I have breaks in between. If I have to run an errand my furry friends are more than welcome to go ride along Making sure your pet feels loved and safe — whether in my home or yours — is always my top priority. I’m happy to let pets roam freely around the house and follow their normal routine, since I know from experience with my own fur baby how important consistency is. I want your pet to feel completely comfortable, so if they have a favorite spot to nap or prefer sleeping wherever they choose, that’s perfectly fine with me.

About: I have owned dogs from a very young age on and I worked at a dog kennel for 5 years! I have experience in potty training, training puppies, oral medication, and more! If you have a puppy or special requirements, just let me know ahead of time!🩷 I live in a townhome directly next to our dog park! I am able to take your pet on daily walks as well as play with them to get out any energy. I can exercise your dog as much or as little as requested! About: I love animals! I was raised around animals all of my life. My parents had a hobby farm, complete with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, cows, emu's, sheep, ducks, pigs, etc. We bred and raised dogs of all kinds: huskies, dalmatians, chihuahuas, beagles, labs, golden retrievers, pugs, and so on. Since my childhood, I've helped feed, care for, and even administer medicine to our animals. I moved to Lexington KY in the Fall of 2010 and decided to take care of others' furry friends while they're away. I started and ran my own dog walking and pet sitting business for 7 years. I ended up closing down to do some traveling. But I sure miss getting out and spending time with my furry friends. Whether you're at work, on vacation, or just out for the day, it will be my Joy to take care of your pets. From midday walks and home visits, to puppy breaks and house sittings, I'll treat your pet as my own, and make sure they get plenty of lovin'. “Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.” That’s what I try to live by. About: Hi! My name is Chesnut. I’m kind and compassionate and will love caring for your furry buddy. I have grown up taking care of my family’s dogs and have two of my own for the last five years. P.s. If you have a really active dog, I love taking dogs on runs or hikes or long walks. I work from home so available all week long. On weekends my husband and I tend to go hiking, so if the dogs enjoy hikes we will take them, but if not then we can adjust our schedules. We have an unfenced yard for potty breaks (leashed), but will take the dogs to the local dog park for exercise or on leashed walks/hikes.

About: I currently do not have any pets, but have had multiple throughout the years. I am excited to gain more experience and to take care of pups or cats. I can do whatever you feel comfortable with when caring for your pet. I have a fenced yard and can take them on walks or can crate, if needed.

At this time I am only watching dogs that do not shed. I work from home so I am always available to attend to your pet’s needs and play with them as much as they want to! Joy H.
“Joy has a heart of gold and will treat your fur-babies as if they were her own. In your absence, you can rest assured that they’ll be in excellent hands with Joy. I couldn’t say enough good things about her heart, integrity, loyalty, and sweet spirit, even if I tried. Whether your babies want to play, need a little extra love and attention, or just need to burn some energy, Joy is your girl. No matter what, you can depend on her to do her best, always show up, and forever love your babies unconditionally.”

Daniel B.
“Dan is a responsible and knowledgeable person when it comes to pets and dogs especially. He has helped me a ton with training for my high energy dog and has always been patient and supportive of what works best for me and my boy. I would trust him to take care of my dog anytime and know that he would be in great hands. Would highly recommend working with Dan if you are looking for a trusted pet caregiver.”

Chesnut S.
“Chesnut is a very reliable, conscientious young lady who loves animals but has not been in a position to have one of her own. She would be attentive to your pet's needs and go above and beyond what you ask of her in caring for your pet. She is someone you can depend on to do what you need her to do and to love on your pet in your absence. She has cared for her brother's dog on several occasions and has had cats of her own when she lived at home. She will notice if something is different about your pet, especially if she has had time to get to know the animal, and will let you know if she thinks something is not "right". I'd trust Chesnut with a pet.”
