About: I love animals! I was raised around animals all of my life. My parents had a hobby farm, complete with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, cows, emu's, sheep, ducks, pigs, etc. We bred and raised dogs of all kinds: huskies, dalmatians, chihuahuas, beagles, labs, golden retrievers, pugs, and so on. Since my childhood, I've helped feed, care for, and even administer medicine to our animals. I moved to Lexington KY in the Fall of 2010 and decided to take care of others' furry friends while they're away. I started and ran my own dog walking and pet sitting business for 7 years. I ended up closing down to do some traveling. But I sure miss getting out and spending time with my furry friends. Whether you're at work, on vacation, or just out for the day, it will be my Joy to take care of your pets. From midday walks and home visits, to puppy breaks and house sittings, I'll treat your pet as my own, and make sure they get plenty of lovin'. “Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.” That’s what I try to live by. About: I have always been a HUGE dog lover. I was raised with dogs and there has never been a time where my family has not had a dog. In 2020 I started my own pet sitting business back home and accumulated over 60 clients. My business offers walks, drop-ins, training, overnight care, baths, and more! I have taken care of puppies, teens, middle-aged, and senior dogs. I have taken care of dogs with special needs and medical issues like diabetes. I started riding horses when I was 7 years old so there is no dog too big or too small! I take care of each and every dog like they are my own and I absolutely love my job. I cannot wait to meet your pup(s)! I am currently a full time student with a very flexible schedule. Class Tuesdays and Thursday 8am-10:45am. No class Monday, Wednesdays, or Fridays. I go to the gym once a day but that time is fit in work and school schedule! I offer pet care in the client's home. At the moment my roommate and I have 2 dogs one just being a few months old so I don't offer pet care in my apartment until he is older.

About: I’ve been caring for my own and neighborhood pets since I was young! I’ve had experience with both young and older dogs, and love making them feel happy and well-exercised. Caring for and protecting animals is a strong passion of mine. I love spending my time with cats, and have skills with shy or timid cats. I’m always around to give them a fresh clean litter, some yummy food, or quality stimulating playtime. I am flexible and can get along with any animal personality. Outside of pet-sitting I’m a student at App State studying psychology who loves to read, hike, roller skate, and sit outside with a campfire! I can’t wait to meet your furry friends! :) I’m currently a senior at App State full-time, but I always have flexibility in my schedule to spend time with your pet! I can work with you to get your needs met, both on weekdays and weekends, day or night! I take special care to ensure each pet is safe and has their basic necessities met. I’m able to crate your pet if needed and take them outside. I am aware of cat and dog safety measures as well as body language and will put your fur baby in top priority!

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and love taking care of them. I’ve worked at a doggy daycare and have done pet/house sitting and dog walking jobs with clients met through there. I’m currently putting down roots here so my schedule is quite flexible. Let me know what you need and I’m happy to work something out! Every pet and client are different! I always make sure to do whatever the client asks of me and adjust what I do based on the pets’ needs.

About: Hello! My name is Nicole. I am a Sophomore in college at Appalachian State University. I currently have no other responsibilities besides school, so I am pretty flexible! I have a few months of Rover experience, and in that time, I got to care for both cats and dogs of different sizes and needs. I have a dog and a cat of my own, as well as 6 years of pet-sitting experience. These experiences included dogs of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. In that time, I enjoyed being able to care for every one of them and got to form close bonds with each as well. Your pets’ safety and happiness are always my #1 priority, and I will always make sure to care for your pet to my fullest extent. This being said, no job is too big or small! I aim to create a stress-free and fun environment for everyone. I potty and crate trained my 3-year-old puppy. He is crate-trained meaning I can easily provide this device for your dog as well. He is a hyperactive puppy who I love and adore!

About: I have animal shelter experience and as a result, have worked with several different types of animals with different personalities and am very flexible and capable of working with very different acting animals. I have a very open and free schedule so I'm able to come and check on the pets as often as needed. I can spend long periods of time with the pets when needed. In the clients home, I will care for them according to the clients standards and by following instructions down to the letter in order to prevent issues.

About: I have a dog myself (4 years old) and I understand how hard it is to find someone to take care of your dogs while you’re away. I would absolutely love if you trust me to watch your babies and I will send you lots of pictures and updates if you’re comfortable with that. I’m a graduate student at Appalachian State and live super close to campus so I’m at my apartment most of the day when I’m not in class. I am quite flexible, I do live in an apartment so a lot of what I’ll do with be out and about or playing with my dog if they’re good together. I am available to watch them often and I’m the only one on the home so you don’t have to worry about them running away for any reason.

About: I grew up with pets my whole life and have helped care for them in all ways including bathing, walks, medication distribution, nail trimming, and feeding. I have pet sat for loved ones, staying overnight. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, as well as large, medium, and small dogs! I will love your furry friend as if they’re my own! Pet care fits into my daily schedule as I have my own cat I take care of. I feed her every morning, play with her, give her flea medicine monthly, and scoop her litter daily. I also live with my childhood dog who is now a senior pup. I give her medicine, treats, keep track of her protein intake, walk her and make sure her water and food bowl is full. I care for pets in a loving way, being gentle with them and respecting all boundaries and reading their body language. I will ensure each and every pet has all their needs met and will give them lots of pets in between! I will respect the clients space and keep them updated on their pet throughout the time of service!

Nothing makes me happier than contributing to an animal’s or other people’s happiness. I am free to take care of pets whenever I don’t have class. I have busy days on Tuesdays and Thursdays and besides that, whenever works. I like to stay flexible. I have a very small yard but if boarding, we would be out exploring and going on walks on the greenway behind my house. We have a cat at home that has been good with all animals so far. Very safe environment with lots of space and love to be given.
